Ess-ka-pay
I left last night and went to the yard with the fence and let my dogs out to play. They're very hard on Hannah, so I threw the ball for her for awhile. It was a semi-mistake because when I was done throwing she wasn't done fetching. I kept giving the ball to Anna so she would take it away. Then there was the, hmn, modulation of behavior. Matcha was leading in race-and-chase, being chased by Beryl; Anna assumed this was a threat to Matcha's well being and decided that Beryl needed to die. Well, maybe not die, just be debilitated either emotionally or physically in such a way that she could no longer chase Matcha. Anna is insanely protective. This is a variety of not-safe that I'm not sure what to do about. I mean, I know that if I'm ever in danger she will do her damndest to at least cripple that danger in some way that makes it so I can run away, or kick the danger's ass myself. But, she's not so good at differentiating. Angry is just angry, no protective-angry, no fun-angry, just angry, and therefore a threat. Never menace my dogs: they'll synergize their way to biting your ass.
Unfortunate that.
And Matcha used to be such a wiener.
Anyway, I got home around 8:30 this morning, fed the dogs and did some cleaning/putting away. My brother has said that he will clean up after the people-mess that he brought into the house, so I left that in situ for his later perusal. He better put the living room back together as well.
And the things for which I am proud of my brother (that is sucks to have to be proud of) are:
He didn't smoke in the house, and he didn't let other people smoke in the house
He did not harbor an violently ill people
He did not store anyone in my mother's bed
He did not (as far as I can tell) break anything
The thing for which I am proud to be proud of him for is:
He helped Kyle write his term paper, and various other english-assignment type things.
Kyle types too goddamn slow.
Unfortunate that.
