WindowSpace 2.0.9
WindowSpace is a desktop enhancement tool for Windows computers
Program info
WindowSpace is a desktop enhancement tool for Windows computers. It adds a lot of functionality that should have been a part of Windows, but wasn't. This particular app deals with window movement. It allows you to take more control of how your windows behave. It introduces the concept of window snapping. When you snap a window to a side of your desktop it stays anchored there. So, for example, when you drag the window to the left side of the window and encounter the edge of the monitor screen, the window will assume that position and stick automatically to the edge. WindowSpace 2 also brings several other features other than window snapping. The feature that I liked the most was the ability to control windows with the keyboard. By having a great support for hotkeys, WindowSpace allows you to give you control of a window by hitting a hotkey and then using the arrow keys to move it around your screen. The hotkeys also work for window snapping. The application is really light and it supports Windows XP and Vista.
Pros
- Window snapping works great, even with the hotkey
- Keyboard control of windows
Cons
- None
