It was an apprenticeship some 30 years ago that got me started in the electrical field. I later held estimating and project management positions with a couple of different construction and electrical service companies before joining Windemuller in late 2020.
I’m the account manager for the service group, based out of Midland. Being in the industry for such a long time, I knew a lot of the guys here, so it was an easy move to make when the opportunity presented itself.
Our work in the service group is primarily smaller electrical projects for our current customers – sometimes it’s maintenance, sometimes it’s a repair. Even though I started in the industry on somewhat of a whim, this line of work has really suited me. I particularly enjoy the variety – no two days are ever the same. I also like that I can get out of the office and away from the computer, doing site visits and helping our customers.
