I've always thought of Grief and Love as twins - formed and forged in the womb of our hearts, made of the same cosmic stuff, but split at birth into two beings instead of one.
When we sink so deeply into those moments of grief, it is because we once loved equally as deeply. To me, understanding this has been a balm for my heart as I navigate my own relationships with grief and loss.
With practice (and many stumbles and fumbles along the way) I have come to be able to allow Grief not to "need" a place to go, but to be present right alongside the Love that is her twin. They hold hands and hold my heart together as one.
I'm glad that you've been able to find an answering place for your grief to reside while you navigate the experiences of life, love and loss.
I've been doing dome deep shadow work these last few years and am learning love and acceptance of all parts of me, because I know the fusion...coming back to wholeness(holiness) is where we are being guided and where our True powers is.🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍
Someone recently said to me...'Grief is Love with no place to go...'
Wow...that got me...it touched my heart and soul.
That is truly where I believe creativity is the answer.
