Wiki Workshop is the annual forum bringing together researchers exploring all aspects of Wikimedia projects.

The 13th edition of Wiki Workshop is set to take place virtually on March 25-26, 2026.

  • March 11, 2026: The list of accepted extended abstracts is now published. Visit Wiki Workshop/Attend to learn more.
  • March 5, 2026: The workshop schedule is published. Visit Wiki Workshop/Attend to learn more.
  • February 27, 2026: If you are an author of an accepted abstract, please send the final version of your paper and video by March 13, 2025, 23:59 AoE. Instructions for submission are in your inbox.
  • February 12, 2026: Registration is now open. Register on Pretix.
  • November 23, 2025: The call for contributions for the Research Track is now published. Please visit the Wiki Workshop/Submit to learn more.
  • October 4, 2025: Kaylea Champion (University of Washington Bothell) and Kristina Gligorić (Johns Hopkins University) joined the organizing committee as Research track chairs.
