WhoCrashed analyzes dump files that are created after a system crash and offers you information about what caused that crash. The program was designed for those users who possess advanced Windows knowledge. It quickly scans dump files and provides various links to pages that contain additional information.

I consider WhoCrashed to be useful especially for users that need to troubleshoot Windows related problems. It is also able to analyze system drivers which are responsible for system crashes.

The program comes with a tabbed interface that offers an easy way of accessing the desired data. Yet I didn't appreciate that the Home edition of WhoCrashed does not allow you to make any kind of settings.

An interesting feature of WhoCrashed is a tool that allows you to crash your system manually. I used this feature to create some dump files in order to test the functionality of the program.

WhoCrashed is a quite unique program that will prove to be of great use for those who are looking for a system troubleshooting solution.

Very impressed - allowed me to understand crashes were being caused by Norton Internet Security. These crashes had invalidated by system drive which was mirrored under Intel's Rapid Storage Technology and it did not react well to Windows crashes. Removed NIS and reinstalled. Problem fixed. Saved me days of work reinstalling Windows and all my applications.
