To all my friends in Ukraine: Time grows short, act now.

I am an American. I have lived in Ukraine for over a year now. I love this country and its people so much I decided to stay forever. I have never felt as much at home as when I am in this country. I will be buried within sight of the Dnieper.

I am a political analyst for a living. I spent the last year making large amounts of money betting on the success of Donald Trump. The writing was on the wall for anyone who understood the American people. I kept telling people here we were electing Trump and I was laughed at. Your media insulted Trump and praised Hillary Clinton. Your leaders attacked Trump in vile and cowardly ways. Your ambassador insulted Trump in public.

I love my President as much as I love Ukraine. This presents a problem. My President hates your President. Your leaders have made grave mistakes. Just as I warned your country and its media about the impending election of Donald Trump, I will now warn it once more. I worry that war will come. I love my city and will not leave it. I want this place to succeed, and it will need America's help to do so.

When your leaders allied themselves with Hillary Clinton, they made themselves part of a coalition of the worst people in America. The kind of people that voted for Hillary Clinton were chiefly homosexuals, childless insane women, drug dealers, pimps, and people who refuse to work that wanted free money from our government so they did not have to get a job. The image of Ukraine's leaders to any red blooded American now is now tainted with the association of Hillary's sick and degenerate voter base. My American friends talk of Ukraine with contempt in their voice. They only know the men in Kiev who attacked their beloved leader, men they know to be a part of Clinton's international network of corruption.

Donald Trump has done more in his first ten days than any American president has in history. He moves fast, like the lightning. Ukraine will have to move fast as well to salvage their relationship with America. There are three simple steps to doing so:

1) Poroshenko should realize the gravity of what he has done and step down for the good of his country. Trump will hold a grudge against Poroshenko forever, and seek to undermine any government that includes him and his allies. The Kiev junta is over and Ukraine's only future with America lies in men who have not insulted my President.

2) Trump admires strength and independence-- nationalist militants should fill the ranks of power. Trump is a nationalist and strongly supported Brexit. Trump and his people like independent European nation states and oppose globalism. If you put Pravy Sektor men in power, it will give an image appealing to Western nationalists.

3) Develop support amongst the alternative right. Trump's first political support base was far right Internet commentators and reactionary labor movements. It remains his core political base. Oleksandr Muzychko was the only Ukrainian appreciated by the alt-right and he was murdered. Most in the alt-right think he was silenced for his vocal opposition to so many Jews seizing power in Ukraine. Trump's political base wants to see the kind of spirited resistance to Jewish Communists that Muzychko displayed. Ukraine needs to find more men like him and make sure they adequately communicate their ideals to both Ukrainian and American audiences.

The clock is ticking. Ukrainian leaders stand idle, waiting to see what changes. Ukraine suffers an ill fate because its leaders backed the wrong horse. Ukraine still may change course, but the shadow of Moscow grows longer every hour. Inaction will lead to ruin.

Hackers: chip in for legal defense, or live in a world without it.

Some hackers donate to legal advocacy organizations out of self-interest. They think that when they get indicted these legal organizations will be there to help them. Then they get indicted, and suddenly find that nobody is there to help them. The big advocacy organizations you donated to are not going to take your case to trial.

This isn't meant to be a criticism of organizations like the EFF. It's just a fact. Their charter urges them to push law and policy. They aren't there to bring your case to trial. If your case does not create new law they will have little interest in it. Even if it does, you may decide it is in your best interests to plea out like Fidel Salinas did. Until you have already finished trial and are slated for appeal, they will not be there to help you.

It feels like ages ago since I was indicted. After meeting with upwards of a hundred attorneys I had resigned myself to running my case pro se, representing myself. I had only met a single competent attorney who understood the legal issues at hand in the case. They wanted a six figure sum to do it. After several years of nonstop federal harassment, I had not a dime to my name left. I went to Zuchotti Park and started trolling passerby with an inflammatory sign about ZOG. As a result I met Tor Ekeland.

Tor was the second attorney I met that had a reasonable understanding of computer crime law. He was broke too but said he'd do it for free. I ended up bringing in some donations and business, remaining probably the only hacker client of his that ever showed a hint of profit. After coming to personal understanding of how fucking draconian the legal system surrounding computer "crimes" is, he's helped in nearly a dozen more cases since then that I know of, even when the press wasn't interested or they incurred big losses on him and his firm.

Tor's is the one law firm that consistently helps hackers around the world when they desperately need it. Nobody else wants to. Nobody else will. There's a handful of attorneys that understand computer crime law in the world and hardly any of them will get out of bed for less than a thousand dollars an hour. How many of them will take your case to trial to make sure arguments are preserved for appeal?

Tor is running out of money. I gave him some in appreciation for his continued work, but I live on a Slavic salary. I make less than US minimum wage. There's only so much I can do, and I'm certainly not capable of keeping his doors open right now.

Those doors are at risk of closing to us. If they do, you will have no options when they come for you. You will have to do what everyone did before Tor came along, which is take a terrible plea deal "negotiated" by a public defender who does not care about you and has no desire to help you. That plea deal will destroy the rest of your life. Or you might choose to kill yourself like Moore and Swartz did after they went to personal and family friends who were attorneys begging for help and were told to get lost. Those that refused to answer Swartz's call for help like Lawrence Lessig are unfathomably well funded. Tor answers as many calls as he can at great personal cost to himself, yet is tragically starved for resources.

If Tor does not keep doing what he does for hackers, every person that uses the Internet is poorer for it.

Help him keep his doors open or nobody will have your back when they come for you: http://torekeland.com/donations

Why Justin Bieber is an underrated antihero

It was 2011 when I first became a Belieber. The Commercial Felony Streaming Act was being argued in the Senate, sponsored by Amy Klobuchar. It was a nightmare of a bill that would have made it a felony for you to make performances of copyrighted works. This, incidentally, was how Justin Bieber's career began: singing songs on YouTube. A radio announcer told him about the bill and his thoughts on Senator Klobuchar were that "she should be locked up ... she needs to know that I’m saying she needs to be locked up, put away in cuffs."

When it comes to retaliation against rulers one opposes I prefer the kill their sons and rape their daughters approach outlined in the Völundarkviða, but calling for extrajudicial imprisonment is a pretty good instinct for a 16 year old. I came to expect great things from Bieber. I was not disappointed.

He mocked Orlando Bloom after fucking his supermodel wife Miranda Kerr, then ducked the guy's punch and laughed at him. He told nigger jokes. Just last year he was sued over an anti-semitic incident where he egged a Jew's house. When he was deposed in 2014 on an assault investigation, he displayed Shkreli-tier contempt for legal process:

<lj-embed id="185" />

Bieber displays the characteristics of a great hero of skaldic poetry. He treats the establishment and its rules with the contempt they deserve, leaving a trail of furious onlookers and currently outstanding South American arrest warrants. I can't decide whether he's the Donald Trump or John McAfee of pop. If the lulzy parts of the Internet were not stuck in a mode of reactionary anti-Bieber hatred they would realize that he is, as they say, "based as fuck". If he did anything other than produce pop music most everyone I know would heap praise upon him. The bottomless irreverence of his relentless assault on life is an admirable trait which more of you should emulate.

Because I have always enjoyed Bieber as an individual, I give his music a listen now and then to see if there's anything I enjoy. I never really found him to my taste, but some of the songs from Purpose are actually sounding really good. He has made significant improvement as a musician.

<lj-embed id="186" />
<lj-embed id="187" />
<lj-embed id="188" />

I've added some Bieber tracks to my library for the first time ever, and look forward to adding more. I have a lot of hope for the Biebs in the future. Maybe he'll pull a Clapton on us. You can signal faux superiority if you want by hating on pop music, but I will remain a Belieber.

Update: After this post was written, it was revealed that Justin Bieber was making America Great Again:

After this revelation, he also got in a street fight with a huge nigger:

<lj-embed id="189" />

Bieber is down for the road war.

The nationalist's role in the post-Trump era.

While most of the nationalist community is sitting around and praying for a Trump victory on Monday, I know we have a far more important job to do. We must start planning for what we are going to do after his loss or victory is assured. The latter is far more important. We've had a resurgence of white identity and anger that is unprecedented for our lifetimes. We can't let it dissipate into quiet resentment. We have to capture it and use it to advance the cause of American salvation.

There are two Americas. There is the white America. This America is about productivity, innovation, hard work, and personal responsibility. Then there is another America which is, essentially, a third world country. This is the America of most blacks, hispanics, and arabs, whose primary path to advancement is subjugating the good and productive people of America through Marxist methodologies.

Despite the fervent cuckoldry of libertarians in their belief that minorities are perfectly fungible for whites, it simply is not true. 40% of millennials are nonwhite, and 40% of millennials oppose free speech. This is not a coincidence. The only two nonwhite countries with constitutional guarantees of free speech are Japan and Hong Kong and only because whites wrote their constitutions for them. Liberty is a uniquely European tradition. The weltanschauung of foreigners will never be equivalent to white Europeans. Whiteness is Western civilization. If whites find ourselves in a minority in our nations, we will be enslaved at the hands of savages, and freedom of speech will die for the whole world. Nonwhites who value free speech are dependent upon Internet hosting out of white countries to continue being able to have a modicum of access to it.

Given enough time, this nonwhite Marxist America will devour the good white America. We need to amputate the wickedness like a gangrenous limb lest it destroy everything of value in the world. So with that I present our post-Trump talking point:

The Holy American Trumpire.

These are the states with the most disaffected white populations: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Michigan, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, West Virginia, Nevada, Arizona, and Missouri. We need to tell them if we can't make all of America great again, we can at least make some of it great again. We need to foment secessionist and radical militia movements in these states and get people psychologically prepared for the idea of an exit from our Republic and an ensuing civil war in case the government tries to interfere in the peaceful process. The ballot or the bullet, as our enemies have said.

Tons of Southerners have been waiting for Texas to secede for ages. Let's tell them the truth: following Texan secession is useless because Texans are more than happy to let themselves be overrun by Mexicans. In two generations Texas will be North Coahuila. We need to get Southern nationalists to accept leaving Texas to its fate, and worry about the parts of Dixie that want to keep their culture. A secessionist union based upon white disaffection is vastly superior to historical thoughts of secessionist unions based on the Mason-Dixon line. Tons of the South is cucked all to hell.

We must push this idea as hard as we can following a Trump loss. The most important thing is getting people in these areas to form armed groups capable of direct action in these areas and encourage them to think independently.

In the case of a Trump presidency, we have an equally important role to play:

Evolan Criticism

Julius Evola is one of the most important thinkers in regards to fascism that ever lived. His influence pervades the modern far right and third positioners. However in Mussolini's Italy he was a sworn anti-fascist. Unlike other anti-fascists, he hilariously denounced Mussolini's authority as not being totalitarian enough.

The left has already been framing discussions related to immigration. For example, just google: Trump deport 11 million. The left has been presenting the 11 million number over and over again in thousands of articles, asking Trump how he plans to deport 11 million immigrants. Trump did not provide this number. They did. I have no idea where this number comes from, but we do not need to deport 11 million people. The number is somewhere closer to 50 million. By starting the conversation at 11 they're hoping to settle for about half of that. In before "muh six million" and "anuddah shoah".

We need to shout at Trump that we expect all fifty million deported, and the compromise we're willing to make with the sobbing faggot left is that none of those foreign invaders get beheaded in the meantime. In exchange for our generous lack of public executions, we expect copious indictments against corporate traitors under 8 U.S.C. § 1324 (Bringing in and harboring certain aliens) for committing H1-B fraud to bring in cheap computer janitors that could have just as easily stayed in fucking India and worked remote. We need to constantly pull the Overton window right and tell our new political establishment that it is not doing enough to save America.

Hail the Spirit of Týr!

Whatever happens in the next five months, we have to use this momentum that we've gained. The Internet has blown the Overton window open and Trump was keen to seize on it, but the future of the West does not begin or end with him. Tomorrow belongs to us. We will fight. We will win.

Gavin Andresen and Mike Hearn want to sabotage Bitcoin on behalf of the US government.

They're at it again. Bitcoin XT developers are releasing histrionic, emotionally charged blog posts declaring the failure of Bitcoin. These blog posts are promoted by their connections in the international media to try to spread fear, uncertainty, and doubt around the status of Bitcoin and bully people into accepting their suicidal "solutions" to problems that don't really exist involving block size limits. Bitcoin's only problem is a public tantrum from two former developers who were disallowed radical protocol changes. Mike Hearn, the current tantrum thrower in chief, isn't even in Bitcoin Core's top 100 contributors.

Histrionic whining on Medium and Reddit is not the proper way to present engineering solutions. Their campaign looks more like some sort of intelligence operation than a patch submission. There's a reason for this: it is.

I have a lot of skin in the game on this issue. I am a target of the United States government, and as such I have a very hard time receiving money. It doesn't matter that I have left the United States because of continuing persecution there. Their control over wire transfers between all countries with Rothschild banks is complete. The United States seizes money on lawful transactions between EU states over things as insignificant as Cuban cigars, despite none of the countries involved participating in the US embargo against Cuba. I've had my bank accounts, payment processing services, and brokerage accounts shut off. Bitcoin is the only way I can engage with any financial services. If it is centralized and subject to controls similar to SWIFT wires and credit card processing, my continued existence would no longer be feasible. Bitcoin is the the most important development in human rights in centuries.

Here's the facts: Gavin Andresen and Mike Hearn want you to switch to something called Bitcoin XT or Bitcoin Unlimited or some other fork of Bitcoin that is under unilateral control so that they can centralize Bitcoin to a dangerous degree-- enough to put it under the control of a government hostile to liberty like the United States. While they do this, they hilariously complain about "oppression" and "censorship" on forums that clean away their bullshit altcoin spam postings.

There are two likely incentives for doing this:
1) They have placed short positions against Bitcoin.
2) They are funded by people that wish to see Bitcoin less free.

Now reflect for a moment that the only major industry supporter of the Bitcoin XT proposal is Coinbase whose gigantic series C round was lead by the New York Stock Exchange. I doubt their financial interests are aligned with a free and unregulated global marketplace.

The good news is that they seem to have lost most of this battle. Consensus on the network is determined by the nodes people run on it. Bitcoin XT only has about 500 nodes. Bitcoin Core, the real Bitcoin software, has about ten times that. The majority of the mining capacity is in China, and Chinese people have little incentive to centralize Bitcoin for the convenience of US intelligence and enforcement organizations. So I must celebrate China's shrewd rejection of XT today.

If you love liberty you should call XT's shilling and spamming out for what it is. If you are invested in Bitcoin you also must do so. If XT gets their way and centralizes Bitcoin, Bitcoin will lose its primary feature of freedom from centralized authorities and thus lose its source of value. You can also support Bitcoin's continued freedom by running a full Bitcoin Core node, and buying and saving Bitcoin.

Bitcoin transaction fees going up is not the end of the world. It's good for miners, and necessary to protect a limited resource like space on the blockchain. I'm willing to pay higher fees to see Bitcoin stay free from government control, and everyone else who loves Bitcoin should be so willing as well.

Ian's death and antifa at CCC: why hackers must become nationalists.

People outside the technology industry don't quite understand the scope of Ian Murdock's contributions to the world. The internet is a big place. It has about a hundred million servers on it. Of those hundred million, about twelve percent are running Debian, Ian's distribution. After Slackware 8 came out in 2001, I switched to Debian and have been running it on my infrastructure since. Beyond servers, the most popular GNU/Linux system distribution for the desktop is called Ubuntu, and it is just a friendly face on Debian's software.

By scope of deployment, Ian Murdock was one of the biggest contributors to the Internet in the world. Bill Gates and Linus Torvalds have shipped more widely deployed software, but Ian Murdock certainly exhibited a scale of contribution that approaches their level.

Over the past week Ian had his home invaded without cause. He was kidnapped at gunpoint and falsely charged with assaulting the officer who assaulted him. He subsequently committed suicide. Many people are commenting that he wasn't in a lucid state when he did so. I'm not so sure. His chances of seeing a California prison were very high. California state prisons are the worst in the entire western world. His chances of losing a significant bit of his assets to the state were also high. Ian had a lot of assets. Rather than endure torture in prison and a loss of his assets to those that were wronging him he killed himself. He was also hoping to catalyze retaliation in revenge against his tormentors, and his death will mean nothing if we don't make it so.

This is a chart of various economic sectors and the total market cap of the associated companies. As you can see, of all the major sectors only financials exceed computing in value. I'm going to say pretty confident that none of them exceed computing in actual social contribution. In fact, with the exception of healthcare none of them innovate at all any longer. This year, the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act passed. It was regarded as a terrible thing and opposed by the entire computing industry. It passed anyways. Computing is twice the market value of the energy industry. When is the last time a bill universally opposed by the energy industry has passed? Never. Such a thing is unthinkable. It does not happen. Utilities is the smallest sector on this list with a fifth of computing's value yet has a gigantic multiple of its political power. Computing is regularly made the bitch of the media industry through legislation, which is too small to even appear in this chart.

The food/staples retailing industry is very small in comparison to computing, but I quite assure you that in my homeland of Northwest Arkansas, the cops have a record of every family with a Walmart executive in it and they know damn well better not to fuck with them. Even a low level Walmart executive isn't going to get beaten, humiliated, and falsely charged in the Ozarks. It simply won't happen because the cops know who runs that place. In contrast, one of the most important contributors to computing on the earth just had that happen to him in San Francisco of all places. The telecom services industry is relatively tiny by comparison to computing, but it still petitioned the government to violate my rights and the protests of the entire computing industry did not prevent it.

Ian is dead for the same reason Lance and Jonathan and Aaron are: computing, as an industry, has no will to power. Computing is filled with nerds who want to focus on their own shit and think politics is stupid. They are right, politics is stupid, and I shared a little of that attitude up until the point a gun was pointed in my face, my home was reduced to rubble, and I was being beaten and starved in solitary confinement. Computing's lack of will to power is especially tragic not only because it has the highest potential for power, but because the big players of the game realize that it does. Regardless of the apolitical nature of the industry it is being dragged into Marxist struggles anyways.

Over at Status451, maradydd has a brilliant analysis of the feminist part of the cultural Marxist ecosystem that has now turned its eye towards the technology industry, but her reduction of cultural Marxism to a simple protection racket is flawed. Feminists are not the only force agitating against the tech industry, and immediate profit from their protection racket is not the primary motive.

The other thing that happened over the past week is that anti-fascists (antifa) were out in force at Chaos Communications Congress. If you are unfamiliar with the CCC, it is the most prestigious gathering of hackers in the world. It is not something done for profit, but for the exchange of ideas amongst hacker luminaries. Unlike feminism, antifa has no profit model in this space, and even if it did, the CCC is not a well capitalized company. It is a loose association of hackers.

Antifa at CCC took the chance to protest emerson's talk as racist. I might be a white nationalist and have been so in public since 2008, but if I were to give a talk at CCC I don't see how I could even make it racist. These are technical talks about real world software deployments. The talk itself was about emerson's travels to Sierra Leone at great personal risk to help use open source software to assist with the eradication of the Ebola virus. Why would they choose this talk?

Let me tell you something. I, as a public white nationalist, have never had problems with these people. Nowadays they are afraid to even say my name. I am Voldemort-tier:

@MariachiMacabre @davidsgallant (he went on to make real buddy buddy friends with W 3 3 V)
— MisAndri ಠ_ಠ (@AndriErlingsson) December 30, 2015

@molon_labia @jack_o_bee4u @dlw624 @PowersThatBeat @Sid_Fishous are we talking about haxor w. E. E. V? Don't want him to find his name
— GlitterBombTheWorld (@SparkleChaos) December 23, 2015

I'll tell you why they chose that talk: someone who goes to Africa to try to help 3rd world people not die is more likely than a white nationalist to cower their head in accusations of racism. They are looking for easy victims to create a narrative with. Their bonuses depend on it.

As it turns out, there is an economic interest in keeping the hacker community docile, afraid, and Balkanized. The last term is best because it is the same guy that catalyzed the genocides in the Balkans who funds most antifa groups: George Soros. Just as he funded the destruction of Yugoslavia because the unification of Slavs presented a threat to his geopolitical interests, he, along with the Rothschilds and the Weinsteins, now funds attempts to culturally subjugate the hacker community. You know that chart we look at above? They are desperately attempting to keep the political elements of computing subdued by Marxism because a rebalance of power according to value would be against their interests and for yours. Most of these antifa types are paid shills, but a few of you are honestly fooled. You are being cuckolded, advocating directly against the interests of your own community and for the interests of predatory billionaires. When you push leftist and libertarian rhetoric you are screaming for more corpses of men like Ian, Lance, and Aaron.

There's a table that all those other people eat at, and they don't want to clear a seat for your tribe at it. I learned something in prison: if someone takes your seat at a table, you pick something up and bash them with it repeatedly. Ian's death was a result of an act of disrespect and violence, an extension of continual disrespect that has emanated from the power establishment for decades now. It's going to continue until we respond in kind.

Embrace the will to power. We can seize it. It won't take very many of us.

There is nothing of value in a TIME story. Nobody with a shred of decency reads it.
I got an email recently from a journalist working on a TIME article.

I do a lot of free media appearances for righteous publications. There's a number of media outlets I see pushing the Overton window in a direction towards justice. I take time out of my days to provide free commentary, original writing, or technical assistance for these:

The Daily Stormer
Gotnews.com
Emergentor
My Posting Career
TRS
White Rabbit Radio

I consider that a civic duty, and I will take the time to provide them with content and assistance again in the future. These people are doing what they do without a living wage because they love Western people and tradition, and they are defending it the only way they know how.

In contrast, a large publication like TIME has been on the degenerate side of every issue from immigration to financial regulation. They are trying to destroy white civilization. That is why when I am contacted by mainstream media I am going to take my hourly rate, multiply it by two (because hey, this is overtime, atop my day to day labor) and ask for a reasonable financial compensation for whatever time I spend working on some story that does not benefit me running in a publication that actively works to destroy everything decent and good in the world. Open up your Jew wallets and dump out some of the fucking geld you've stolen from us goys, because what other incentive could I possibly have to work with your poisonous publication?

I can't think of a better summary of my attitude than this meme from ALB of My Posting Career/Nuclear Memes:

If you are a small media outlet not run by Zionist filth and you want a anything from me down to the shirt off my back, hit me up. If you are a multinational publishing house and you want to use my time, I have four words: FUCK YOU, PAY ME.

Now Spotify is in the business of political censorship.

What will you do when they're coming for you
And they're coming to take you away?
What will you say when they drag you away?
You're in jail in the name of the state!
It wasn't too long ago when I was being dragged away to prison in retaliation for lawful speech. Which is why that the above lyrics, from "Thought Control" by the Bully Boys, speak to me so much. It's a fantastic song about a nightmarish police state, in which the speech of all citizens is controlled by central authorities:

These are the days when you watch what you say
And you keep what you think to yourself
They got the laws that say watch what you say
Or else the people will find where the blame really lays

This nightmare, it's right here!
It happens all of the time!
They say they're there to control people's hatred
I say they're there to control people's minds!

Thought control!
Thought control!

The system's old and the system's controlled
They don't want you to know it so they don't let it show
Hide all the truth and they remake the past
Keep the people confused with opinions, not facts

Because of my life circumstances, these lyrics hit especially hard for me. That's why, after I got out of prison, I looked up this song on Spotify and added it to my saved tracks. Because of this, I can right-click it and show you that there's still a song URL for this on Spotify:

https://open.spotify.com/track/27ZaEtflBTi6QpyVZzd9ZG

Today, I might be the only person on earth that can stream this song from Spotify. They've disabled newcomers from playing it and every band like it. Anything anti-state with a nationalist bent is gone. Hundreds of RAC bands with similar lyrical content that I have listened to via Spotify have disappeared along with it. While you can click the URL above, it will not let you add the track to your playlists or play it. Only if you have already added it to your songs will you still be able to stream, like I am doing in this screenshot:

Spotify has engaged in an Orwellian kind of censorship with a level of irony here that can only bring to mind the incident where Orwell's 1984 and Animal Farm themselves were remotely deleted from thousands of Kindle devices.

This is the song those who control Spotify don't want you to hear. Check it out.

<lj-embed id="173" />

Today if you search for Bully Boys on Spotify, instead of a political treatise about the corrupting influence of state control, you get a electro/hiphop from a new act of the same name glorifying drug use and promiscuous sex. I wonder if this says anything about the current velocity of our civilization, and if anything should be done about this. Actually, I think the last verse of "Thought Control" contains a good outline of what is going to happen to those who have architected situations like these in the future:

The lost truths, they dont change
And their power won't last
We'll free our people from the yokes of their lies
And revenge will be hell for the ones we despise!

Russian cryptocurrency scene

There's an amazing budding cryptocurrency scene in Russia. Everyone seems to be getting involved in Emercoin, which is a slavic altcoin. What's crazy is how redpilled these people are. It's pretty great, they are all natsoc types, and they run an imageboard bbs. I gave them a quick interview:

https://emergentor.org/p/2371/

Elon Musk is an obvious fraud

The seemingly limitless capacity of men to be utterly consumed by the foolish worship of idols can cost billions of dollars. Often a huckster with a veneer of unshakable confidence comes along and the social cost of his fraud becomes a burden to civilization at large. So powerful is the allure of personality cults to investors that many of those that many of the same funds that have lost fortunes to them will instantly jump into bed with another.

In 2012 a Brazilian business magnate named Eike Batista had his net worth measured at 32 billion dollars. He was named the world’s 8th richest man. Investors poured billions into his companies. He was an actual golden child, having ascended to wealth and influence on a stroke of luck by being in the gold mining industry during a historic rise in the value of gold. He leveraged that position to break into many new industries that were perhaps more difficult than simply taking existing gold mines and seeing their margins rise.

Not content with being just a gold magnate, he decided he would raise large amounts of public money and get in the business of iron mining, solar energy, coal mining and power generation, offshore oil drilling, and international logistics and shipping. He had no unique special knowledge to lead him into these industries— just the charm to convince institutional investors and his home government to grant him gigantic infusions of cash.

One by one Batista’s businesses fell. Batista’s oil wells only pumped 1/50th of the barrels he predicted they would and OGX, the company that owned them, filed for bankruptcy. The power generation company he founded, MPX, lost 400 million dollars a year until it filed for bankruptcy in 2014. OSX, his offshore drilling equipment manufacturer, was contingent upon the success of OGX and also went bankrupt. MMX, his iron mining venture, fell completely flat after losing billions in investments. LLX, his attempt at a global shipping and logistics enterprise, found few customers.

All his stock tickers ended in X, “to symbolize the multiplication of wealth”. He is now potentially the single greatest destroyer of wealth that ever lived. The fallout of Batista’s collapse was massive. Its brush tainted not only the economy of Brazil but all emerging markets. For the next two or more decades one man’s incompetence is going to make it far more difficult for ventures in tens of countries to find investment. Many of the institutional investors which put their faith in Batista’s schemes were pension funds left holding double-digit stakes in enterprises whose liabilities were a multiple of their assets.

There were a bunch of warning signs. The biggest red flag is taking on a multitude of projects each of which would need a full-time commitment from any man, no matter how brilliant and resilient. It speaks of a personality in the throes of mania, jumping into the founding of one business after another with disregard for their ability to push them into the black. The second is a man’s transition from great success borne chiefly of luck, charm, and market conditions in simpler industries to far more complicated industries requiring long-term capital influx from both public and private sources.

There’s no businessman that exhibits these characteristics today more than Elon Musk. He made his initial success in an unrepeatable environment of the dotcom boom. Making web applications is ridiculously simple compared to any one of Elon’s new ambitions: automobiles, space travel, solar energy, and public transit. Any single one of these would be a massive undertaking, requiring the full focus of any CEO. To take them on all at once reeks of foolish pride and mania. There’s something innately childish about trying to be the king of cars, space, and trains all at once as well. It’s like he’s picking everything preteen boys might decorate their room with.

The financials and market realities make it obvious that Tesla is doomed to fail. Elon Musk has failed to capture the potential centers of profit in the new transit economy. Uber has captured the user experience of personal transit, and Google is leaps and bounds ahead of anyone else in overcoming the legal and technical hurdles of autonomous vehicles. These are the parties best suited to profiting in a burgeoning new economy of technology-enhanced transit. Tesla leveraged itself to the hilt on batteries in a prediction of rising gas costs forcing a switch to electric vehicles, but fracking and shale oil drove crude prices from $146 from their peak in June of 2008 to pretty consistently under $50 these days. Oil might drop even further.

Tesla’s level of leverage leaves anything other than a significant market share in the car market as a fatal outcome. It has no room for competitors, which is why I believe that Musk got so defensive in a German newspaper when confronted with rumors of Apple’s self-driving car project and began to so aggressively attack them: “Important engineers? They have hired people we’ve fired. We always jokingly call Apple the Tesla Graveyard. If you don’t make it at Tesla, you go work at Apple. I’m not kidding.”

J.B. Straubel, Tesla’s CTO, said that employees can “get afraid” of Musk. A former Musk employee said to of him, “Elon’s worst trait by far, in my opinion, is a complete lack of loyalty or human connection. Many of us worked tirelessly for him for years and were tossed to the curb like a piece of litter without a second thought. Maybe it was calculated to keep the rest of the workforce on their toes and scared; maybe he was just able to detach from human connection to a remarkable degree. What was clear is that people who worked for him were like ammunition: used for a specific purpose until exhausted and discarded.”

How many of these new Apple employees are arriving from Tesla with a strong desire to give as big of a fuck you to Musk as possible after being fired for failing to meet increasingly unreasonable product requirements and deadlines demanded by a foolhardy sociopath? Tesla’s entire future is bound in the hope that Google takes only the low end of next generation vehicles. If Apple creates a luxury electric car, that alone is likely to destroy any hope of success. His current level of leverage leaves no room for the smallest of setbacks, or him scaling up operations in a crowded market with significantly capitalized competitors.

Tesla’s engineers may be the best in the world, but they’re all dedicated to a task that doesn’t have an ounce of basic financial sense. It’s like the Herman Hesse classic ‘The Glass Bead Game‘, where the most brilliant scientists, linguists, and engineers of the age are all dedicated to an extremely complicated board game instead of confronting problems that are actually critical to the advancement of society. Hesse wrote it as a critique of the academic establishment, but it also perfectly applies to the many capital bonfires that warm Silicon Valley. Elon once wrecked a McLaren F1 and got out of the car laughing because it wasn’t insured. Take this as an omen for the future of his automobile business if you have any bit of wisdom in you.

Something that all of his companies rely upon is continued gub’mint cheese. Without the largesse of the state, his entire empire would have already collapsed. His enterprises have collected $4.9 billion in free handouts, and the government is the customer on a third of SpaceX’s launches and probably well over half its revenue. For someone that is the hero of so many Reddit libertarians he sure is awfully dependent upon handouts from the state. Not a single one of his ventures are possible without constant goodwill and cash from politicians.

<lj-embed id="191" />

His latest Hyperloop project reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Marge narrowly saves Springfield from being cheated out of all its money in a monorail-building scam. I can look at the balance sheets of Musk’s ventures now and know that most of his billions are like Batista’s. Today there is prideful, arrogant mockery of Apple, whose profit margins he can never attain. This kind of hubris will always be punished. Don’t find yourself getting punished with it. Many of Batista’s investors now count themselves as Musk’s. If you have any sense at all, dump your Tesla shares before it is too late.

this is a mirror of an article I originally published on the now-defunct lifestyle and op-ed publication, DSSK. It generated millions of uniques and over 15,000 shares on Facebook.

http://archive.is/04S4x
http://www.dssk.press/elon-musk-is-an-obvious-fraud/

The Justification for Weapons.

Someone on Quora asked, "How does an average American gun-owning citizen rationally justify his/her possession of gun(s)?"

Here's my answer, archived for when Quora suspends me:

In June of 2010 there was an AT&T webserver on the open Internet. There was an API on this server, a URL with a number at the end. If you incremented this number, you saw the next iPad 3G user email address. I thought it was egregiously negligent for AT&T to be publishing a complete target list of iPad 3G owners (there were active iOS exploits at this time, I had just reported one to Apple and it was still unpatched), and I took a sample of the API output to a journalist at Gawker. I feel that when a big company puts you at risk you deserve to be informed and they deserve to be embarrassed.

I lived in Fayetteville, AR at the time. It is the city I was born in. I had a spiritual attachment to that land. I wanted to die there, which is why I had not left it despite all my friends shouting at me that I was a political target for the government and needed to leave the country. I thought I would be protected by not being a criminal. I knew I was a political target because the FBI had been harassing me previously due to my personal policies of embarrassing corporate entities, so I had rid myself of my guns in hopes that they wouldn't claim they thought I was armed and murder me in my home. I had never been more attached to a possession than my Saiga 12, but I sold it anyways. I was not armed when the federal agents busted in the door.

After years of being kidnapped to a foreign jurisdiction of New Jersey which I had never visited, falsely imprisoned, and tortured, my case was overturned on Constitutional grounds. The court admitted that I was not a criminal. I was "freed" from a prison, only to find myself in another. Because I was charged with fraud, financial institutions don't want to do business with me. Everyone has a record of the conviction but nobody does of when it was vacated. The federal government still conspires against me, sending informants to try to entrap me and my coworkers. Girlfriends are harassed at airports. After I was kidnapped to New Jersey, my former home was bulldozed. I finally left America as a refugee in desperation, and foreign intelligence agencies and law enforcement continue to act aggressively towards me. I just fled Croatia after Europol tried to unlawfully detain me.

My life never recovered. I didn't commit a crime, but I may as well have been executed. I asked the government to compensate me for the harm and violence they did to me, and they ignored that. It turns out they have "sovereign immunity". The feds are not like states-- if they harm you, you need their permission to sue them. My life ended on January 18th, 2011 when they kidnapped me to New Jersey. Since then, I have been a walking dead man.

I wish every day I had not rid myself of my guns, and I had wired the entrances of my building with explosives. I wish that I had actually died, and taken as many feds with me as possible. This is actually the reason that the framers gave us a sacred right to own guns. They didn't care about self-protection nearly as much as the regular and cyclical slaughter of authority figures to keep them in line. Thomas Jefferson put it plain as day: "the tree of liberty must be watered, from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants." You can simply look on the news and see cops executing American citizens in cold blood. You want to entrust your safety to these people, with no hope of resisting them if they turn against you? You're a fool.

The only reason I keep breathing today is in the hope that I will see a Day of the Rope when they are brought to justice. This cause is why I am still alive now, after losing everything. I can't tell you to arm yourself, or what to do with those arms when they come for you. I can only tell you, mourning for my lost home in a foreign land, the sole thing I would change in my life if I had the chance to do it all over again.

Watch this man slowly die. It is important.
<lj-embed id="170" />

I want you to watch this guy slowly die of benzodiazepine withdrawals. It is important to me. This particular man is not my friend, but I do have a friend this has happened to. My friend Fidel Salinas was imprisoned on ludicrous and fictitious computer crime charges just like me. He had several seizures in solitary confinement because he was lawfully prescribed Xanax by a medical professional and the Bureau of Prisons saw fit to ignore that upon his imprisonment. This sort of life-threatening torture is common enough that I have had it happen to someone I personally know and call a friend. It finally killed someone, and it is only a matter of luck that Fidel's tolerance to gamma-Aminobutyric acid deficit is better than the guy's in the video. If it were not, my friend would be dead too.

When I went on a hunger strike, they demanded to take my blood. I refused to give it, so they came in and took it. In the process, they chained me to a metal bed with no mattress. A fat prison guard put his full weight down on his knee upon my stomach while holding me still so my blood could be taken and I vomited. They left me there for days, on a slab of cold steel covered in my own vomit.

This is what America really is about. This is the America that I know. This America needs to die in a wrathful firestorm that makes what Timmy did to the Murrah Building look like $5 in fireworks. Every day I remind myself what America is and what needs to be done about it. You should too.

Hail victory.

I turn 30 today.
30, being an easily divisible number, is one of those things we irrationally use to mark the beginning of an epoch in our lives. In my case it fits, as significant events now correlate with all of its factors. When I was 15 years old the government began surveilling me. The 3 years that said government stole from me under false pretense now accounts for a tenth of my life. The 6 years of earnings that I lost outside that 3 years due to government harassment now accounts for a 5th for it. I've spent a roughly a year as a refugee from American tyranny.

Having reached this milestone in my life, I reflect more upon the history of the world than my own history. I read Tacitus and Suetonius some eight years ago, but I lacked the wisdom to put them in the proper context. As a birthday present to me, I ask that you listen as I do.

Liberal democracy prides itself on bestowing liberties upon the individual, but when you investigate a given liberty, you generally find that it was first bestowed by a despot. For example, compare the eighth amendment to the United States Constitution to this remark upon the policies of Nero by Tacticus: "Restrictions were also put on the powers of the aediles and a limit fixed to the amount of bail or penalty which curule and plebeian aediles could respectively exact."

In ancient Rome, anyone imprisoned was allowed to challenge the nature of the imprisonment to see if it was done with lawful authority. However, many were refused the ability to exercise this right by curse of poverty, due to the benches of the court being only available after the furnishing of a fee. Suetonius outlined the abolition of this by that Roman emperor: "Clients should pay ... nothing at all for benches, which were to be furnished free of charge by the public treasury."

It took democracy over a millennia and a half to grant the liberties that were forged by a reviled despot, but the true irony is exactly how these liberties were restored. While the above outlines how habeas corpus was established with honesty 2000 years ago, it becomes illuminating to know in contrast how it came to exist in modern jurisprudence. For that we have to look at the Parliament of England in 1679, when the Habeas Corpus Act was passed through voter fraud. The roll call for that session of Parliament had accounted for 107 Lords present, and the Habeas Corpus Act passed 57-55, for a total of 112. Habeas corpus was 3 votes behind in the running, so they made up 5 votes. One extra, because it would have trigged an automatic recount by parliamentary bylaws if it was only 1 ahead.

So an individual liberty which was freely and gladly given early on in the career of a man that is now considered one of the most reviled despots in history could only be established in Western democracy through a complete and total subversion of the institution of democracy itself.

And now we come to the crux of the matter. Democracy feigns responsibility for individual liberties, but it did not invent them and has done a poorer job at maintaining them than other systems of governance. I have traveled this past year though many dictatorships, and I can say with confidence that their citizens are more free to conduct commerce than those of us who were born in the United States. The only freedoms that the USA offers you are those of degeneracy. You are free to commit sodomy in public, or mutilate your genitals. You certainly are not free to refuse to bake a cake in celebration of this, however. You are free to have the government move you into a neighborhood you could never afford on the dime of people who actually earn their money, but you are not free to refuse to live next to hostile foreigners with no sense of culture or decency.

Democracy also takes credit for improving quality of life, but the reality is that quality of life has improved all across the planet, even in dictatorships, because of improvements in technology. Democracy has nothing to do with increasing standards of living, just as it has nothing to do with individual liberty.

The reality is that democracy is a ridiculous and ignoble circus. How could it be more obvious as Trump announces on stage that he's bribed several of his opponents, "Deez Nuts" polls at #3, and Kanye presents an honest bid for executive office. There never was anything of substance to the institution itself. It only worked for a brief moment not because of any inherent nobility, but because of the decency and values of the people that populated it. As the descendants of those people become minorities in the lands their forefathers conquered, our government becomes progressively more like a banana republic. The Constitution, while noble in aim, was written before Bastiat even invented the first macroeconomic terminology. It was written before the Internet existed. The Constitution no longer accomplishes its aim of restraining government and creating a worthwhile civil order. We need to put the Constitution out of its misery before its last shred of dignity is gone.

The second quarter of my life is up, and it was defined mostly by humor and commercial pursuits. It was a wild ride, in which I became a millionaire, then a prisoner, and then a destitute, wandering refugee. I did some interesting things and some of them had some pretty fantastically large affects. For moments I made the world move. Now the next quarter of my life is here, and I believe the next will be defined by one question: by what memetic and technological praxes may I bring the rotten whore that is the United States government to her knees for the discipline she truly deserves? It is time for us to subvert democracy for the elevation of liberty, just as the Parliament of England did in 1679. Those of you who will join me in my aims, prepare yourselves. Our time is soon. Hail the new dawn.

No defense for Gavin McInnes.

Gavin,

Your recent statement that you are "100% sure" I am "a liberal plant" reminded me of Brynhild's false accusation against Sigurd. For those who haven't read the Eddas (shame upon you), Brynhild coveted Sigurd but Sigurd was married to Gudrun. In a rage, Brynhild made a false accusation that Sigurd raped her, to provoke a lethal assault upon him. I do have something that you covet, Gavin. That thing being authenticity. I think it's time for a quick comparison of our nationalist bona fides so that everyone can see why exactly it is that you are acting like a jealous little bitch.

My journey started in 2001. I was fifteen then. I could no longer in good conscience watch the West decline into a third world shithole, so I joined the Christian Identity movement, taught people about encryption technologies, and distributed our propaganda on the Internet. This got me in the federal catalogues at a young age:

Of course at this time you were too busy peddling books like "The Vice Guide to Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll," and "Vice Dos and Don'ts: 10 Years of VICE Magazine's Street Fashion Critiques" to engage in any meaningful political struggle. You made millions of dollars off of peddling sexual promiscuity, glorifying narcotics addiction, and promoting the degeneracy of hipster culture to children.

Of course, these are the exact forces that I, as a committed ethnonationalist for my entire adult life, was fighting right up until a swat team kicked in my door in the Ozark town where I was born. It was fighting forces of degeneracy like the company you ran that got my door kicked in, and I can prove that, because the FBI's search warrant outlined their objections to my political media opposition.

After being kidnapped from my childhood home and held in a hostile foreign territory under ransom for 2 years, I was sentenced to prison on false charges in retaliation for my beliefs. I know it was in retaliation for my political beliefs because the federal prosecutor said it with his own mouth:

"Because of his racial politics, his racial theories." --Actual quote from Assistant U.S. Attorney Zach Intrater at my federal criminal sentencing
You have been a marketer for your whole life. Your recent conversion to the altright seems like something that should be in that one Bill Hicks skit on marketing. I can see you so easily wringing your hands with a greed-borne grin upon your face saying the lines out of his skit,

"The righteous indignation dollar, that's a big dollar! Lotta people are feeling that indignation. Huge market! The anger dollar! Huge! Huge in times of recession! Giant market!"
You were an executive at a dead end firm that makes ad campaigns. It's an overcrowded industry and a progressively shrinking market. You got sick of watching your career fade, so you posted a flagrantly SJW-provoking essay titled "Transphobia is Perfectly Natural" on Thought Catalog. You wrecked your ad firm, and collected the severance knowing full well you'd be out of a job in a week. Such rhetorical bravery didn't last very long. Your previously awesome shitlording seemed to stop abruptly as you gained a nationally syndicated radio show. It becomes clear now that someone's calling the shots, and it ain't someone on the right.

Our side had an awesome success with the "cuckservative" meme, which was born in the legendary chatbox of the My Posting Career forums. With it on every Republican's lips, you came in to tone police it straight up like a genderqueer Tumblr addict. The guy who previously said trannies were disgusting was now the guy saying, "whoa now, we can't talk like this, these black people nobody has ever heard of might be offended."

<lj-embed id="169" />

This is why that when you decried me a liberal plant on twitter, my reply (which, for those unfamiliar with Twitter, does not show to my followers unless they follow Gavin) got more retweets and favorites than your initial accusation sent to all of yours.

@Gavin_McInnes I'm 100% convinced you want a bunch of blacks and mexicans to run a train on your wife.
— Andrew Auernheimer (@rabite) August 20, 2015
Those are your fucking followers, Gavin, seeing that and retweeting it and favoriting it because you are a fucking joke. You've been cosplaying in the alternative right for a year. I've fought for fourteen of them (a fortuitous number) and suffered false imprisonment, torture, and the loss of my childhood home. That a British born migrant by way of Canada who has mixed race children and sits on a pile of Jew media money from peddling orgy porgy and soma would try to insult my right-wing credentials is fucking hilarious. The jig is up, and we all know you're a ringer. It's your job to try to steer us away from issues related to the survival of European ethnic groups and cultures, and we aren't going to fucking have it. The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

You'll always be known as a mongrelizer and a cuckold, Gavin. You cuck for the black lobby and you cuck for Israel. Anyone can hate on feminists and trannies. Limbaugh has been doing that shit since the 90s. You're to the left of him. You've stolen our rhetorical tone, a sheep in wolf's clothing. You have the foremost ethnat intellectual, Jared Taylor, on your show and you put him on with a blubbering monkey to make a mockery of the discussion. You think we can't see what you are doing? Your shameful attempt to ingratiate yourself with American nationalists is beginning to collapse. Hell, you aren't even an American, and since you love multiethnic society so much I think perhaps you should return to your country of origin. I think Leicester and Luton are more up to your speed these days. Failing that, maybe you could listen to the suggestions Bill Hicks outlined for marketers like yourself:

"You are Satan's spawn filling the world with bile and garbage. You are fucked and you are fucking us. Kill yourself, it's the only way to save your fucking soul."

Youth in Soviet America

When you're ten years old, bizarre is just how things are. Later on you remember and realize how absolutely fucked things were.

In 1995 I was a precocious kid on a BBS frequented by a bunch of weird nerds. One of them was a DJ for a local radio station, and he was talking about how he and all the DJs he knew were trying to bust open media silence on a government conspiracy. In the eighties a Pennsylvania politician named Budd Dwyer refused to play ball with mob contractors. The United States Attorney was in league with the mob, so he ironically brought charges of corruption and bribery against Budd. The entire case was based around perjured testimony solicited by the mob-aligned US Attorney and, hilariously, attained through an act of bribery. The man testifying was getting a significant bit of jail time reduced to lie about about Budd and claim he'd taken bribes.

Budd was a man who had dedicated his life to the pursuit of law, so he knew full well that a federal court was a diseased brothel where his chances at justice were nil. He did the only thing he could to try to bring attention to his plight hope that someone would find the truth. He called a press conference and shot himself on live television. Kids at home in Harrisburg watched as the blood bubbled up through Budd's skull. The national news didn't show the blood bubbling, and presented the case as open and shut. A bad guy charged with a crime committed suicide and all is right with the world.

It could have stayed that way too, and nobody of my generation would have ever heard of Budd Dwyer. Instead a very young Internet dug through the evidence a decade later and figured out the Dwyer case didn't pass the smell test. The realization that the only evidence in the case was perjured testimony spawned a prototype meme for "jet fuel can't melt steel beams." A band called Filter, riding on this wave, released a track about it, "Hey man, nice shot" expressing a desire to be able to meet Budd.

DJs around the country played the track as an act of rebellion because the news wouldn't acknowledge that Budd had been set up. Filter rode their sedition to a platinum album and never made another song that was inspired or relevant ever again. Public pressure eventually made the man who gave the false testimony admit that he had lied at the behest of the federal government and apologize for the harm he did Budd. For a couple years on the BBS's I frequented we'd say "Hey man, nice shot" in response to a sane and rational argument about what a politician should morally do, nodding to the fact that it would probably get them imprisoned or killed.

I stumbled upon this memory because a foreign friend was asking for American music recommendations. They seemed to like the altrock of my youth, so I told them the story of the Filter song. It was only today that I managed to realize how indicative of sickness and rot this song is. The synopsis of this story, "the good guy killed himself in the square and the media wasn't allowed to talk about it so everyone used a code in song..." is like an anecdote from the lives of Bulgakov or Solzhenitsyn living under Stalin. Recounting this to my friend moved this memory from the category of normal everyday memories where it was filed when I was 10 years old to artifacts of a nightmarish dystopia. That I write this on a blogging service owned by the Kremlin because I like and trust them more than Silicon Valley just makes this that much funnier.

There weren't any UGC streaming video services in 1995, so today was the first day I could watch the video of Budd's final seconds.

Budd Dwyer died in hopes that we would find the truth and bring his aggressors to justice. America is a dead nation, and it will not rise as long as the houses of Paul J. Killion and Joseph U. Metz, the attorneys that wronged Budd, remain unpunished. There are other suicides of innocents post-Budd that hit closer to the home of us weird nerds, such as those of Jonathan James and Aaron Swartz caused by US Attorneys Stephen Heymann and Carmen Ortiz, or that of Lance Moore caused by US Attorney Paul J. Fishman. It's probably a federal crime to say what I think should be done to these criminals so I am not going to express my desires, but I think all my supporters all know what needs to be done so I don't have to. If we truly love the spirit of the Constitution, we must plan to bring the tyrants we call federal prosecutors to justice, along with the tyrants we call senators and special agents and judges. If ruin is not brought to their houses, then we have failed to perform our moral obligations as dutiful citizens to punish evildoers. Let us hail the gods of victory and ponder how we can accomplish such a task.

A tale of two CEOs: misogyny, corporate governance, Carol Bartz, and Ellen Pao.

When Carol Bartz was at Autodesk, she took on responsibilities I would shy away from. Early in my career, I did PLC hacking for factory automation. It's maddeningly delicate work with little margin for error. Fuckups meant actual physical goods could be subtly damaged in large numbers. After a few months of increasing reliance on alcohol to quell the stress of spirals of statics and dynamics in my head and a potential lost centisecond or nudged millimeter I didn't seek another project and decided I would be in the direct e-mail marketing industry. Never again did I want to have anything to do with minute tolerances.

AutoCAD is software like that. People design actual physical objects tiny and great in it. If things go wrong in AutoCAD its customers would be furious. It's also a pretty feature rich piece of software. Carol Bartz learned all of it. The niche features few used, the scripting system, she grabbed people who knew the software well and made sure she knew every bit of it. She may not be from an engineering background, but she is damn sharp and knew that in software the details were everything. Everyone at Autodesk spoke highly of her. She was demanding, but thorough, and everyone at the company knew she was working just as hard as they were.

When Bartz arrived at Yahoo she applied that same methodical spirit. She delved into the features of every Yahoo product, and does Yahoo ever have a lot of products. It was a job of massive scope, just as Autodesk had been, and she did it well. She made a lot of tough decisions. Many of Yahoo's products had nearly no margin and no opportunity for growth. She cut them. Her work was good, and she was humble about it. Everyone said she was doing a better job than she said she was doing.

However, after years of bad management Yahoo had only one asset that was truly important: its partial stake in Alibaba. When Carol Bartz sat down to negotiate that, she acted the same as any man would have. Sitting opposite to her was Jack Ma, who has more traditional Chinese expectations about femininity. He despised Bartz, who is psychologically stronger than most male executives I've met and is foulmouthed and tolerates no bullshit. Pretty soon Yahoo was cut out of things at Alibaba entirely. The board moved to oust Bartz, and various investors used their sway with the press to construct a narrative of Bartz's incompetence to appease Ma. She was criticized quite viciously, and it made me angry to watch it happen.

The usual feminist antagonists in technology were not interested in the slightest. Criticizing a foreign minority for very real misogyny was never on the table.

When Ellen Pao arrived at Reddit, her resume consisted of no accomplishments. She was filing a frivolous lawsuit against her former employer, private equity firm Kleiner Perkins, for sexual harassment. The only reason she had the job at all was because Reddit investor and rival firm Andreessen Horowitz wanted to lend credence to that lawsuit. In the highly competitive world of private equity dealings, Andreessen Horowitz viewed a cowed, demoralized Kleiner as a less capable bidder for funding deals. They cared little about how she managed Reddit and Imgur. They just wanted her to look like executive material in front of a jury.

In contrast to Autodesk and Yahoo, Reddit is a very easy thing to run. I've run some reasonably large websites (Alexa top 1000 range) that consist solely of user-generated content. This is a job more up the alley of a dropout like me. Things can break in subtle ways and it won't matter. The world keeps turning, and a website audience will always come back after an hour's outage. No biggie. Had Pao done nothing but smoke pot and browse Reddit while she worked there, nobody would have despised her. Nobody would have remembered she existed.

In contrast to Carol Bartz's legendary meticulousness in regards to product, Ellen Pao didn't even learn to use Reddit's software properly. She, hilariously, once linked to a message in her private inbox in a public subreddit. Imagine someone so dumb that they post a link to their Gmail inbox on their Facebook wall. Pao was that person. Her reactions to the countless responses poking fun at her shows she didn't learn anything about her users either. She flew into a rage and called an engineer to shadowban all the commenters for her. The kind of users that inhabit Reddit care deeply about the free and open Internet. Pao showed herself to be a mad and petty empress, and this was the turning point where everyone decided that it was best if she were destroyed.

Reddit has rightly sent her packing, after she singlehandedly built up the strength of their only competitor Voat and made their users flee the website in droves. Despite such egregious incompetence, not only are the usual feminist antagonists fawning over her but mainstream media sources like the New York Times have completely rewritten articles about the issue to favor her over feminist backlash. If social capital was real money, Pao would be a sick piglet suckling at the teat of a welfare state. The contrast to the story of Carol Bartz is so dramatic that it fills me with a previously unimagined level of disgust for the technology industry's Marxist feminist squadrons. I vomit on the host of the Valley, and I hope they all die.

Carol Bartz got fucked over by Yahoo's board and made a scapegoat. In the history of female tech executives, she is the only one that could have truthfully played the sexism card and she didn't, probably to avoid being in the company of women like Ellen Pao. Carol Bartz is all class, and a typical example of the great American ingenuity that is rapidly fading from the world.

Ellen Pao is a degenerate, plain and simple. She is a typical example of why my former country is becoming an endless sewer. She is a fraud just like her husband, who stole a nine figure amount from the pensions of firefighters. They both belong in cages, like the zoo animals they are.

Distributed publishing in the age of corporate censorship

The suspension of Chuck C. Johnson from Twitter has prompted a lot of discussion about alternatives based in protocol, and I had a thought on the subject.

Everyone became sick of Facebook a long time ago. Feeds loaded up with garbage and ads that shove how much they're stalking you right in your face. Facebook aggressively censors any content it's founders don't like, such as nationalist politics and pro-Palestinian activism. Now that Twitter is a public company and all the good people have left, it seems that it has been similarly hijacked by partisan actors who are giving the boot to many of the people that made it such a compelling service. Twitter is just starting to be despised and they haven't even monetized the service yet. Just because a company is despised, however, does not mean it will fail. Comcast's legendarily high margins attest to that. Right now two companies have a monopoly on how we communicate with one another. Unlike Comcast the oligopoly of social media is made only of software and consumer attention. These things can be crafted a lot easier than new cables can be laid.

Ello recently received a lot of interest simply on the platform of not being Facebook. Most stayed away, realizing that it's the same familiar business model controlled by the same familiar parties. Nobody wants to help build a service that'll be more of the same, especially when it lacks the features and social graph people are used to. Regardless, the fleeting immigration to Ello shows that there is immense consumer interest in competition to established social media services. The rapid emigration from Ello shows that immense consumer interest is really only going to be sustained in the form of distributed publication and decentralized control, not corporate ownership.

In 2010 there was an attempt by a small team of CS undergrads to create a distributed social media service. It was called Diaspora. They raised a six figure sum on Kickstarter (it was the second biggest crowdfund of all time, to show again that massive consumer interest) to make the idea happen. It was an utter failure for a number of reasons. I knew as soon as I looked at their code and saw ImageMagick handling all the image processing that it was going to be a failure. Distributed systems are extremely difficult undertakings. They are not the kind of thing that you should do as a first major project while you're still in college. There are companies like 10gen that produce distributed systems as their first product, but they are undertakings entirely of their own. You don't see distributed systems companies also becoming social media companies. Diaspora was predicated upon too many things becoming successful, and was doomed from the beginning by people whose vision exceeded their ability to implement that vision.

Those making a distributed competitor to existing social media immune to centralization and censorship must avoid incursion into difficult areas of computer science. Building a compelling user experience is a hard enough hurdle for a new company to jump without adding the most difficult areas of computer science to the obstacle course. There are a host of new and exciting technologies such as blockchains that one might envision social media being built upon, but I think the key technology here is much older. Most of those who are on the early Internet probably got their start posting upon the oldest distributed publishing system known to man: Usenet.

Usenet has operated reliably longer than I have been alive. Usenet already scales to a degree that far surpasses Twitter. The amount of text UGC (excluding the JSON syntax) in the Twitter firehose is a mere ~1.08 terabytes a day. Compare that to Usenet, which currently sits at around 18 terabytes of daily feed volume. Usenet is rife with content that violates the law because it is so difficult to censor. That being said, there's an essential thing that Usenet got wrong that allowed for the success of today's social media.

Usenet was born of academic discussion. It came of an age where all who had access to the service were the intellectual elite of their time. Like an ancient forum, where the philosopher-kings whose aptitudes had ascended them above concerns of daily drudgery could travel far distances to with the intent of discussing matters of eternal importance. Usenet was the world's greatest discussion forum until September of 1993, when AOL gave its subscribers access to the service. You see, Usenet's view has traditionally been by category. You would subscribe to an interest just like following a hashtag on Twitter, and thus see all the posts relevant to that subject. This was perfect when most posters were experts in their field. This was unsustainable when the average IQ of Usenet posters dropped by thirty points.

Modern social media sorts by the identity of a poster, not by category of content. This makes content bearable. It incentivizes participation as well. Everyone's motive for using social media is self-interest, be it for the purpose of hawking something, entertainment, or narcissism. Everyone is there to build a brand for themselves or get attention.

The underlying messaging infrastructure of Usenet is still fine. The only thing that prevents it from threatening its modern competitors is how the messages are displayed to clients. A service that allows people to claim a username tied to their usenet posting ID, presents a web profile with their posts in a Twitter-like view, and provides a hook into ejabberd for direct messaging is a very surmountable task, and there could be a real market opportunity in it.

One year's "freedom". Please assist me in getting what's mine.

On April 11th of 2014, I was finally released from prison after 3 years of being held captive by means of the state under conditions that were a violation of my civil rights, on the pretext of a "crime" which was in actuality quite obviously not a violation of the law or even standard practices on the Internet.

I was kidnapped from the place of my birth. I was beaten. I was subject to forced starvation. I was subject to months of confinement in a special housing unit, the cognitive effects of which I am dealing with on a day to day basis. My lifestyle and livelihood have not been returned to me. Despite my best efforts, the government refuses to compensate me for the wrong that it did to me, the harm of which continues on a daily basis. Of course, the torture was not enough. They had to continue violating my civil rights even after I got out of prison in an attempt to financially strangle me to death, thus forcing me to leave the country to start doing business:

Racked some 1us for TRO LLC rack last Wednesday and now these sit right near em. Feds working fast these days! pic.twitter.com/UZ3lYwuP5D
— Andrew Auernheimer (@rabite) April 21, 2014

I invoiced the ringleaders of this criminal conspiracy, Susan Wigenton, Zach Intrater, Michael Martinez, Paul Fishman, and Christian Schorle for the time they stole from me. I don't expect punitive damages or pain and suffering. I just want the 3 years it stole from me to be paid up at a reasonable hourly rate, so I can buy myself a new citizenship and home and forget about the United States.

I write to ask for help from those in the nationalist and activist communities. Judge Susan D. Wigenton's home address and phone number are now a part of public record since her formerly disbarred husband1 is now operating a law office out of them2. If you could please give her a call, or even better drop by her home and kindly remind her that she owes me a debt that she has yet to pay, I'd appreciate that a lot.

1Funny story: he took a five figure amount of his client's money in escrow and used it to pay gambling and prostitution debts. Somehow he not only avoided prison time for this, but was allowed to return to the practice of law. I met people in prison on the same offense over comparatively paltry four figure sums. Being the husband of a corrupt judge is pretty nice it seems!
2
initial info from her husband's LinkedIn profile

Congrats, you all helped Gigaom commit fraud. Stop whining and pat yourselves on the back.

So last week a blog called Gigaom closed. I follow too many people in the greater San Francisco area and they won't shut up about it. Even the people whose integrity and intelligence I actually have a modicum of respect for manage to utter the kind of quality insight I might expect from a toddler with downs syndrome on the subject. Most of it is along the lines of how the bank that shut the blog down is this big bad grinch that stole Christmas, like so:

If @SVB_Financial was ever a friend of the tech industry, it's not anymore. By closing @Gigaom, the bank has declared war on its clients.
— Owen Thomas (@owenthomas) March 10, 2015
Or spewing something about how debt is just this useless thing which is never appropriate to use in business, which I'm sure any decent CFO can give a good hearty gut laugh at:

4/debt is a horrible, horrible device for any startup -- do not do it. Build your pub based on revenues like @dannysullivan or @Launch
— jason (@Jason) March 14, 2015

Now I hate banks just as much as the next guy, which is why I've made most of my living swindling them out of their money through engineered market events. What's amazing about this bit indignancy is that Gigaom just got away with a hilarious bit of swindling. A quick look at CrunchBase reveals that it got 25 million dollars in capital for its equity alone. Add a few million of debt and it's probably safe to assume Gigaom took at least 30 million dollars and did the equivalent of lighting it on fire and jerking off around it.

Tech blogging is an extremely crowded market. To even have a hope of survival in market that crowded, you either have to be the market leader or have something extremely different about your product. You could perhaps be a CIA-funded experiment to sabotage political dissenters in the tech industry like Pando, or you could be some guy on YouTube that autistic people can pretend is their personal friend who unboxes gadgets with them. Personally I can't really differentiate the ideology perspective of Gigaom from say, TechCrunch which drives a metric fuckton of traffic or VentureBeat which at least manages to operate way leaner than Om did. On paper, the idea that Gigaom could have ever been a financial success is sort of laughable. So what made a bunch of what (I hope) are reasonably educated investors double down over and over again into a series F round on a company that had very little hope of ever paying a return on its investment?

The answer, of course, is you. All you people whining about how Gigaom has been done wrong by the evil bankers are the reason why those people opened their checkbooks in the first place. Because you people constantly portrayed Gigaom as a worthwhile product whose success was assured. Buzz and goodwill can defer the failure of an insolvent company for a long time. You got Gigaom almost a decade of operation. It's no pets.com tier swindle, but it is still in the 8 figures. Good job, pat yourselves on the back, and stop pretending that their closure is unjustified.

Fidel Salinas Jr is being tortured right now.

Ever since coming out of prison helping inmates, particularly ones in solitary confinement, has consumed a large amount of my time. For weeks I have searched for Fidel Salinas's inmate number, 52306-379, on the US Bureau of Prisons inmate locator. His facility never appears. I just found out he's being shuffled around county facilities, kept exclusively in solitary confinement, and denied not only written correspondence and books but medical necessities.

So-called "Special Housing Units" are one of the worst forms of torture. There are demagogues that would like to pretend it isn't, but the empirical data is clear. Confinement in Special Housing Units causes neurological damage that is so profound you can see it on a CT scan. It atrophies your hippocampus. From the perspective of longterm effects on your life, solitary confinement is orders of magnitude worse for you than having blades shoved underneath your fingernails, or being shocked with a car battery.

Fidel Salinas did not commit a crime. He filled out a web form 44 times. For this they brought an indictment that carried a potential sentence of over four centuries in prison. Knowing full well the personal cost of fighting a federal case, when the government offered him a misdemeanor plea he did what he thought was best for his wife and daughter and took it. Because the government feels he got off too easy for the absurd crime of making forty-four HTTP GETs, he is being tortured. His brain is being maliciously damaged by terrorist thugs in a way that for the rest of his life will reduce his ability to consolidate short term memory to longterm memory and his ability to navigate spatial environments. He will be at a drastically higher risk of getting Alzheimer's disease.

Fidel Salinas is one of my luckier acquaintances. Last year I fought a case brought out of Newark, New Jersey because the FBI and prosecutors office lied and said AT&T was headquartered there so they could kidnap me at gunpoint from my birthplace of Fayetteville, Arkansas. A simple examination of Wikipedia or AT&T's SEC filings will show it is headquartered in Texas. I brook no sedition from fed scum and fought the case until the end, but you know who didn't? Lance Moore. Same US Attorney's office, same legal fiction that AT&T was in New Jersey. Where is Lance Moore now? He's fucking dead. He fucking killed himself. Jonathan James did too, and Aaron Swartz. None of these people committed any crimes and they are all dead. Some in the community simply die under mysterious circumstances or disappear. There is a pile of hacker corpses, and most of them didn't come from well connected families are are thus simply forgotten.

Beyond the sham indictments, hackers get sham trials. For example my judge, the "Honorable" Susan Wigenton, had a lawyer husband Kevin Wigenton who used a five figure amount of his client funds in escrow to pay prostitution and gambling debts. I've met disbarred lawyers in various correctional facilities that went to prison over similar cases but with four figure debts that seem downright paltry in comparison. He however did not go to prison, and has since been allowed to return to the legal profession. Oh, and guess who Kevin spent a decade working with? AT&T. Funny coincidence, that. I was tried in a court that was literally in bed with brothels, with a literal whore on the bench.

I have more friends that have had guns pointed at them by cops than ones that haven't. When you consider how fucking small the world's population of hackers is, you start to realize that the war on hackers is a real literal war. For all the US government's posturing about how say, Bashar al-Assad, is this supposedly terrible tyrant, I am typing this from a Syrian neighborhood right now and even the rare anti-Assad person here doesn't describe people disappearing or being tortured left and right. I don't know anyone of any nationality besides Palestinians that has multiple personal acquaintances that died as a result of state action. Hackers are subject to violence and death at the hands of the state at a rate that rivals the worst governments on earth.

This, of course, is all happening with the backdrop of Obama's ridiculous new hacking laws. Obama's people swear that the feds are no longer going to go after "small cases", but these new laws were written primarily under the direction of US Attorney Paul J. Fishman, who brought the indictments against Lance Moore and I, and US Attorney Carmen Ortiz, whose office brought the cases against Jonathan James and Aaron Swartz. Laws are not abstract things that are used in the vacuum of the executive. These laws mean nothing to cybercriminals, who operate out of Russia or other nations where they will never face extradition. United States Attorneys have made their interests explicitly clear. They do not care about systemic financial crime. They care primarily about politically motivated activity and business models including disruptive uses of technology. Instead of legislating new laws that clearly violate the first amendment, perhaps the President's administration could first take care of their obligations, such as compensating me for the violence that was unlawfully done to my person as a result of the lies of his employees.

A very real war is being waged against us. The government will continue to torture and murder us. They will not back down like they did to the protestors at Bundy Ranch because no event has occurred yet that makes them have any reason to fear hackers. The people of Bundy Ranch are alive today because the last time the government massacred people in the nationalist movement, someone retaliated by killing a large amount of them and their children at Oklahoma City. Unless electronic activists begin to use techniques of asymmetric warfare to defend themselves like American nationalists did, there will be more tragedies like Fidel Salinas, Lance Moore, and Jonathan James.

You are all lying hypocrites, and Charlie Hebdo had it coming.

All the articles describing Charlie Hebdo as a paragon of free speech make me sick to my stomach. In 2008, Charlie Hebdo fired one of its employees for "anti-Semitism" for the mildest suggestion that there might be a correlation between Judaism and economic success. Hebdo's presentation as a champion of the Western tradition of free speech is downright ridiculous. Hebdo once tried to have the speech of an entire political party banned because they thought that Marine Le Pen, the head of the National Front, might secretly hate Jews even though she has never expressed animosity towards them.

When one Semitic religion I find objectionable is barred from criticism through the persistent violence of the state but another is only protected as such through the sporadic violence of otherwise powerless individuals, it does not make me think that Islam is the source of tyranny in this context. The adage goes, "to find out who rules you, find the people you may not criticize." Suffice to say we can safely criticize Islam in France, and we definitely cannot criticize Judaism there. My feelings on Islam are not positive. I do not like what it has to say and I think it is an overwhelmingly negative influence on the world. I'm not taking this position because I am an Islamophile.

Comedy is not safe from Jewish authority in France. Right now the most beloved comic of France, Dieudonné M'bala M'bala, is barred from performing because of "anti-Semitism". They just arrested him for posting on Facebook after the ban. French author Marc-Édouard Nabe has been censored for two decades and subject to repeated acts of violence for his so-called "anti-Semitism". The world seems to care only about the violent acts of one Semitic religion and not another.

France and Hebdo never valued free speech, only speech against Muslims and Christians. I don't know of any French critic of Islam that has silenced themselves in fear of Islamic violence. However, I know of tens of parties (such as recently-fined Varg Virkernes, Nabe, and Dieudonné) that have been forced to become silent about subjects related to Judaism because of the state-mandated violence of French courts on the subject.

Charlie Hebdo had it coming, and so do the rest of the French dogs. We must stand against the hypocrisy of the French Jews until the people of France are allowed to criticize each and every one of the most despicable religions of Abraham!

Je suis Amedy Coulibaly!

Update for 2/11/2015: As if to hammer the point home, Vincent Reynouard was just sentenced to two years in prison for suggesting that significantly less than six million Jews were killed by the Third Reich. Seriously, it should be open season on the French. They must be brought to justice for this ridiculous hypocrisy. If they ban speech against Jews, they should also ban speech against Muslims and Christians. It is not fair or equitable for Jews to be a special protected class exempt from all criticism.

Dear black people: your lack of solidarity for white crime victims ensured #DarrenWilson walking

Darren Wilson walking free is a travesty. That he is not in prison is a blow for the legitimacy of Constitutional government. However, this has absolutely nothing to do with racism. The black community has done themselves a disservice and corrupt law enforcement a huge favor by pretending it is. I was there to speak out about the injustice of the murder of Oscar Grant, and I am here to speak out about the injustice of the murder of Michael Brown. Thousands of white people opened their mouths to say those murders are unacceptable. These events are purely wrong, but please stop pretending the victim's race is the real issue.

The reality of interracial crime is that the vast majority of it is black on white. We are talking, for example, of tens of thousands of black-on-white rapes per year. Black people are murdering, raping, and stealing from whites with near impunity. Whites do not retaliate. Blacks talk of white people having it coming. Real talk: the totality of all historical black-on-white violence far exceeds that of white-on-black (the irony of the fact that both of these are dwarfed by the totality of black-on-black violence, while not as relevant to this discussion, should also be apparent). If that debt was to be repaid in blood, it has been repaid in spades. You want to pretend four hundred years of slavery is justification for violence? I am a Slav. The very word "slave" comes from the name of my race. After four thousand years of servitude you can claim your racial reparations check would be as big as mine, and yet you don't see my people asking for it. I have more important debts to be paid to me than the ones from hundreds of years ago.

Michael Brown should not have been shot, but he was no angel. He had just robbed a store. You know who was an angel? Vicki Weaver. She had committed no crime, and she was shot in the back by a non-white FBI sniper while she was holding her infant child. This, of course, was the day after she saw her 14 year old son murdered by feds. FBI Special Agent Lon Horuichi never faced any charges. This was the single most egregious act of cold-blooded law enforcement murder in the history of the United States. You know what the black community said about this? Absolutely nothing. You think black cops aren't still killing white people? Please get informed. There is racial bias in how cases of interracial violence are handled: minorities are the perpetrators of most interracial violence and still show absolutely no solidarity with white victims. Where were the riots when 76 innocent men, women, and children were murdered at Waco? Where is the minority outrage for the tens of thousands of white US citizens murdered and raped by blacks every year?

The real issue in this is that of an obvious moral hazard. Law enforcement agents have a very close relationship with prosecutors. They commit atrocities against human rights very frequently to help prosecutors build cases. Prosecutors are thus indebted to law enforcement officers. When law enforcement officers do wrong, the only people to indict them are their friends on the same side of the isle. Grand juries universally follow prosecutor desires. A prosecutor can, of course, indict a ham sandwich. I was personally kidnapped at gunpoint from my birthplace to a foreign territory regardless of the fact that I had not committed a crime, and it was treasonously unconstitutional to do that to me. A prosecutor can indict whomever he wants, and exculpatory evidence (that which can suggest a defendant's innocence) and the alleged criminal's testimony is never presented to a grand jury. I very aggressively tried to testify at my grand jury. I was denied this because it never happens, except, of course, in the case where the potential defendant is part of the law enforcement establishment. As such, law enforcement agents will never be able to be lawfully punished for their misdeeds. This is why I think men like Tim McVeigh and Andrew Stack are heroes: they are the only people to ever bring the murderous, thieving terrorists of the state to justice. I wish for their resurrection every day, but I'd actually rather see murdering cop thugs tried in a court that isn't a complete sham and humanely executed afterwards.

Now, it is obvious that Officer Wilson's testimony was not true. There has been much coverage of the fact that the police continually changed their story about the distance from which he was shot (35 feet on day two, but photographs of where the SUV and Brown's corpse showed more along the lines of 150 which was eventually admitted on TV by a STL officer). There's also the issue of the wounding pattern. Take a look at the autopsy diagram in the New York Times. See the anterior wound in the forearm? Put your finger on that spot and simply rotate your arm until that wound faces forward. That's right, put your hands up. #HandsUpDontShoot is actually for real. Even after the fact that witness testimony is normally never presented at a grand jury, normally a prosecutor with a witness on the stand would present the witness would confront him with his testimony being conflicted by a mountain of evidence. There was no such confrontation here.

I hate cops just as much as the black community. I think all cops are subhuman garbage that need to be taught a lesson. However, your insistence that they only deserve such lessons when their victims are black is playing a very old and tired race card. Nobody wants to hear it anymore. As a victim of racially motivated violence perpetrated against me by minorities I sure as hell don't. I want to see you get justice, but you are making it impossible to do so. This Thanksgiving I offer black people some advice should they actually want to see revolutionary courts give murderers in law enforcement the executions they truly deserve:

Stop saying white people have violence coming to them.

Stop having your commentators pretend this isn't a common sentiment amongst black people. Only the dumbest among us will believe you.

Bring those among your communities who commit violence against whites to justice.

Show some support for white victims of state violence, just as we white folk show support for black ones. Seriously, some marches of equivalent size for some dead white women would do a lot to endear you to the people from my hometown.

Eternally your servant in escalation of entropy and eschaton,
Andrew "weev" Auernheimer
