About World Environment Day 2026

Republic of Azerbaijan to Host World Environment Day 2026

World Environment Day 2026 will be hosted in Baku at the Heydar Aliyev Center, in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The event will bring together international climate leaders, government officials, partners, and environmental champions. The programme will combine high-level discussions with public outdoor activities, creating an inclusive national celebration of nature and climate action. The event will take place on June 5 at the Heydar Aliyev Center and will include both closed sessions and an outdoor exhibition open to the public.
