WebMonitor allows you to monitor specific web pages, XML/RSS/RDF/ATOM feeds and forums. The program checks for web page changes or keywords and phrases, and generates an alert when the specified search is found. In order to search you have to specify what type of search you will be alerted of. Open the search window and select the type of search: Web pages, news, blogs, etc.; introduce a name; select the receiving alert; URL; frequency of the alert - it can be minutes, hours or days. If the page is password protected you have to introduce the user name and password. You can add as many searches as you want. Alerts found will be displayed on the alert list, and can be arranged by date/time, search time, etc. Double-click on a desired alert found and the web page will be opened. Or open a desired search to modify the search details. Searches can be imported or exported with XML file format. In the options window you can modify the default XML URLs, auto check for new alerts, load on start up and so forth.
