Essential tool

Highly recommended tool. Simple to use and easy to configure. You can import sitemap.xml from an entire site 🙂 It visually marks changes to a page with a comparison. It also includes the code snippet. It’s constantly updated.

Very helpful app

I recently discovered the tool and thought it was a great idea. It’s so handy to be able to compare pages directly with each other. A very useful little app

As someone who works with websites daily, having the ability to take snapshots of websites before and after working on them is very important, and WebDiff makes doing so a breeze.

The interface is very easy to use, and since purchasing this, I’ve been using it every day. If you are someone who works on websites, either doing design and development work or even SEO, this is a great tool to have in your kit.

Support were also very responsive when I had a question about some sites being blocked due to my location.

Simple and very effective tool for managing website updates

I earn a significant part of my income from managing WordPress websites for clients, both built my me or by others. Updating them can be stressful due to complex premium plugins that sometimes conflict. For instance, the famous Elementor warns users to back up before almost every update because conflicts may arise. Unfortunately, if an issue arises—like a coupon field disappearing on an e-commerce site after an update—you might not know until a customer complains days later, making your backup useless for recent orders. The best way to prevent this is by taking screenshots of key website screens to compare before and after updates, and that’s where WebDiff comes in. WebDiff allows you to add multiple, unlimited screens for each site, providing a thorough overview of critical parts during comparisons. While the app’s UI is functional, there is room for improvement (as is the case with most apps). However, the developers are highly responsive and quick to implement suggestions, I tested it myself. As a final plus, WebDiff stands apart from the typical offerings on AppSumo by being a locally-run application. This allows me to add unlimited websites and perform endless comparisons, making it both invaluable and affordable for users like me who manage multiple sites. For me, it’s a game-changer!
