I used these to replace failed switches on a HotSpring front panel. The fit is fine. They work. What remains to be seen is how well they will hold up in the pump cavity (warm and damp) of a spa. They certainly beat buying a new panel for hundreds of dollars...a panel that HotSprings says 'might not work' with my controller!

If you are having problems with the switches on your HotSprings spa and you can solder 'stuff', these switches will do the trick. In five years, I'll know how well they hold up to the rigors of spa use.

I used 8 of these to repair my 1986 Radio Shack clock-radio. All of the TIME, ALARM, SLEEP, etc soft rubber buttons had gone bad... I was able to solder these switches to the contact area of the PCB, and then trim the existing plastic buttons for proper operation. Happy camper!

At 6mm by 6mm this is a very small switch. With that size you can put a switch every 7.5mm on your breadboard. The tactile feel is very good. A firm but not hard push is required. You will feel a positive drop in the button when contact is made. About 2mm of the wire pins extend into the breadboard making positive connection. The pins are not round, so the edges will generate sufficient force to make contact. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

They work, however I thought I'd let you all know that these only span 200mil. They aren't wide enough to span the 300mil gap of the center of a breadboard. They would be perfect if they were just a bit longer. If they were just a bit longer I know I would go back and buy more as there would be more applications I can use it in
