I know someone who didn’t see a doctor at all until they were 20 years old. 2 million Americans live without running water. A lot of people have no idea how severe poverty in the US is.

Emails show that installing this illegal mailbox in front of the Bessemer, Al warehouse where Amazon workers were in the midst of mail-in union election was a priority "at the highest levels" for Amazon execs. One told USPS he'd "drive to Alabama myself to install it if need be."

When I describe East Coast vs West Coast culture to my friends I often say "The East Coast is kind but not nice, the West Coast is nice but not kind," and East Coasters immediately get it. West Coasters get mad. 😂😂😂

To be clear, Senator Mastriano and *every PA Republican Senator* voted for Act 77 Vote by Mail. Unanimous. In fact, it was 💯 a PAGOP bill. 👉 Dems wanted to push it back to 2021. PAGOP forced it for 2020. You can’t make this up.

Trump did not bring fascism; it brought him. Fascism is capitalism's harsh, savage response to the divisive social crises it imposes on society (depressions, extreme racial and economic inequalities, etc.). 1/2

If you aren't extremely relieved, you don't understand what the threat was. If you think it's over, you also don't understand what the threat was.

I was curious, so I checked: both Bezos and Musk are now richer (relative to US wages or to per-capita GDP) than Rockefeller was at his height. It took 2020 to get us there, but we are now at pre-WWI levels of wealth concentration.
