Account Executive

The primary objective of the Account Executive will be to demonstrate our solution and close sales opportunities with a specific focus on small and mid market target companies.  You will be supported by our Sales Development team and will be responsible for supporting your pipeline development through moderate research and outbound efforts. Stackify is seeking high-energy, intelligent, revenue-driven individuals who want evolve their career with one of Kansas City’s fastest growing technology companies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of Stackify solutions, value propositions, industry challenges & trends, and competition differentiators.
  • Demonstrate the Retrace product suite to qualified decision makers with the goal of closing sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the entire sales team to scale revenue. Executing on outbound email and calling campaigns and managing an evolving sales pipeline.
  • Consistently work in a CRM as the database of record for all activities, as well as manage weekly reporting on progress.
  • Conduct pre-demonstration research to gather company and contact intelligence.  Utilize that research to build a unique experience and systematically execute on qualified opportunities.
  • Consistently meet goals around activity and production.  Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) may include demand generation efforts, pipeline management and opportunities created/closed.

Sales Development Representative (SDR)

The primary objective of the Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be to research and identify target companies, execute on an outbound calling strategy, connect with key decision-makers inside those companies, qualify potential opportunities, and set appointments for the Account Executive team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of Stackify solutions, value propositions, industry challenges & trends, and competitive differentiators.
  • Conduct appropriate pre-call research to gather company and contact intelligence.  Utilize that research to build detailed call plans, and systematically execute on those call plans daily.  
  • Make daily outbound calls to prospects to initiate interest, identify qualified opportunities and schedule demonstrations to evolve the sales process.
  • Send targeted emails to target personas to generate awareness and interest in the Stackify solutions.
  • Consistently work in a CRM as the database of record for all activities, as well as manage weekly reporting on progress.
  • Work closely with an Account Executive on a daily basis as you bring new opportunities into the pipeline.  
  • Consistently meet goals around activity and production.  Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) may include daily call volume, number of contacts reached, and opportunities created.

Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer will work closely with our Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives as we introduce our product to potential new clients.  In this team environment, you will have the opportunity to support the sales lifecycle from a technical perspective. A successful Sales Engineer will be able to quickly make meaningful connections based on experience with Developers, Engineers, Managers, and Directors during the sales process.  

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of Stackify solutions, value propositions, industry challenges & trends, and competitive differentiators.
  • Be a technical liaison between potential customers in technical roles and Stackify’s sales team.
  • Assist in remotely conducting consultative demos of the platform.  
  • Provide best practice suggestions to developers who are considering Stackify.
  • Generally guide users through the process of getting to know the Stackify product suite and how to get the most of the tools in their own environment.  
  • Diagnose customer challenges and help provide solutions using the Stackify tool.  

What You Will Bring to Stackify:

  • Pre-sales & sales engineering, or other customer-facing experience in a technical role.
  • An evangelist’s voice for all facets of the Stackify product family.
  • A passion for speaking with technical professionals on a daily basis.  
  • The ability to comfortably speak in front of small groups, usually in a remote setting, but occasionally in-person.
  • Some experience writing code using any one or more of the following:  .NET, Java, Javascript, Node.js, PHP, Go, Python, or Ruby. Plus the desire and aptitude to learn new languages you don’t already know.
  • Good working knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems.  
  • A consultative demeanor and a strong desire to help development teams across the globe be more effective at supporting their apps. 
  • A positive attitude and a desire to be part of a small group doing big things!

.NET Lead Developer/Architect

If you love the internals of languages and libraries; and debugging and solving code issues, this might be just the role for you. Stackify is a leader in SaaS-based application performance monitoring tools. Thousands of companies across the world use our tools daily.

For this role, you will be contributing to Stackify’s CLR Profiler libraries, Windows Server Agents, and Error & Logging libraries. The code you produce will be running in process on thousands of our client’s applications and servers; running with low overhead and efficiently as possible is key; and will help your peers (other developers) around the world to quickly find and solve their own applications’ performance issues.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Thought leader for a team of windows internals developers
  • Provide accurate forecasting and estimation of work prioritized by the product team
  • Player/coach including design and coding tasks
  • Light project management using Agile best practices
  • Enforce and adhere to organizational standards for security, performance, and scale
  • Determine and follow best practices and patterns
  • Ensure that accurate progress of your assigned work is reflected via the proper channels, including issue tracking tools & daily “stand up” meetings.

What You Will Bring to Stackify:

  • 8+ years of work experience in software development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in leading development teams
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • .Net (C#). Expert or advanced level of writing clean, efficient, fast code
  • C++ (preferred, not required)
  • Windows Services
  • MSI / Installshield (preferred)
  • CLR – Knowledge of how CLR internals work; knowledge of MSIL (preferred)
  • Windows Debugging Tools
  • Asynchronous programming patterns
  • Queue based messaging (MSMQ, Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ etc)
  • REST / SOAP Services
