Here's to the Crazy One.
The misfit. The rebel. The Troublemaker.
The round peg in the square hole.
The one who saw things differently.
He wasn't fond of rules.
And he had no respect for the status quo.
You can quote him, glorify him, or vilify him.
About the only thing you can't do is ignore him.
Because he changed things.
He pushed the human race forward.
And when some saw him as the Crazy One,
we saw genius.
Because the one man who was crazy enough to think
he could change the world, was the one who did.
As most of you already know, the great innovator and genius of our generation lost his battle with cancer last wednesday. I've admired and been inspired by this man since I was old enough to walk, and I had been meaning to post this sooner. I am very saddened by his loss; my thoughts and hope go out to his family and every one his life has touched.
