hi! so i'm a new poster here and just wanted to drop by with a few random songs i've been listening to all week.. mostly mellow, but i love them. let me know what you think!

notes: i absolutely adore ray. like, dear god, it's getting unhealthy. but how can you listen to a voice like his and not be moved?

Ophelia - Bethany Joy Lenz

notes: you might recognize her as haley, from one tree hill, but this girl has an amazing voice and it's a shame that her talent isn't being put to use. so expect to see a lot of her from me!

notes: probably my favorite song of theres. so, so pretty.

Forgive Me - Missy Higgins

notes: i have so much love for this song. its been on repeat for like, two weeks. her voice is so hauntingly beautiful. if there's one song you dl, i highly recommend it be this one.

Lonelily - Damien Rice

notes: oh, damien and lisa are perfect. love them.

Life is Short - Butterfly Boucher
oh i am young but i have a past
travelled far to find the start
yes i am scared and i've been burnt

notes: recently stumbled upon this song and its so cute. fun to turn up the volume and sing it loudly!

No downloads this time! Just me being my usual self and whoring out my MySpace bands. This time a group called Short Stack. Not only do they make amazing music that makes you want to dance, they are the funniest guys ever.

This is their debut music video, for their song "Sway Sway Baby"

(keep in mind they have no major record label, so it's not like they have $$$ to make some amazing masterpiece & it was recorded using a mobile phone!)

I'm abusing my maintainer powers.

So, I'm basically It's A Secret's whore.

Once they get to 4,000 friends they're giving us another full version of a song.

So if you could maybe add them it would mean a lot. They don't post many bulletins - so you won't get spammed and once they release the song you can remove them lol.

I need this song more than anything.

Or maybe even give a link to their myspace in an entry?

It would mean a lot.
