the study of CULTURALLY INDUCED IGNORANCE OR DOUBT (see history of the term).

Experts corralling us into safe opinions comprise three main groups. For these celebrity leaders of the “Fauci saved the world” club, the Lab Leakers and the No-Virus people the situation is desperate. There is nothing they can do to influence government decision makers to form coherent, responsible and effective public policy positions so they are forced to podcast.

Podcasters are going to save the world while they make a bit of money on the side. Meanwhile, a hopeless debate ensues where boundaries are reinforced against conflicting opinions. Shadow banning and censorship ensures that, safe within your preferred podcast or social media circle, nothing turns up to shake your world view.

The critical thing is that nothing is resolved. No clear understanding is formulated through mainstream media, social media or government. Key questions remain unanswered. The whole debate about Covid, vaccines and viruses remains a mess and you can’t talk to your neighbour or family about it because they have different podcasters.

Have you ever considered that this may be by design?

Nice photo but does Dr Zibran understand, fully or partially, the implications of what he is urging us to do. What we can be certain of is that our local paper and its editor will have done no editing. They simply accept any script given to them by people in authority regardless of its impact. Beware of taking the Blue Mountains Gazette’s advice.

Prior to his role in NSW, Dr Alvis Zibran served as the national chairman for the non-communicable diseases in Fiji. From the Fiji times we learn that he likes tools and sees them as the answer to that country’s premature mortality rate. I wonder what could have caused that? Did anything unusual happen in the early part of this decade?

Other than being a “health specialist”, there is little information online to offer comfort or concern. Seems he has taken on the role as “staff specialist” at the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District. His LinkedIn page still shows him located at North Gosford. Well, he has burst onto the mountains in a starring role.

As our local paper and its prestigious content is now behind a paywall (unless you have paid the $30), you will need to rely on me to convey Dr Zibran’s and our local rag’s vital message.

Flu explodes across New South Wales by 1,000 percent

Firstly, Gazette journalist, Georgina Jelovic, gushes:

”NSW Health respiratory surveillance report (week ending December 6, 2025), 11,355 cases of influenza were reported across the Blue Mountains, Penrith, Lithgow and Hawkesbury in 2025.

AND

”The unprecedented surge includes a massive spike in November, where flu notifications were 10 times higher than those reported during the same month in 2024”.

AND

”Most notifications have been for young children from five to nine years old”.

Get those children jabbed. You don’t know what’s in these jabs? You’re unaware of the growing debate about the dangers of intramuscular injection? You’re oblivious to the explosion in autism and are incurious as to its cause? Then you have no worries. Go ahead.

That “10 times higher” is an interesting figure. Where have I heard that before? The same horrific story is being sold to residents of the United Kingdom and United States.

Our journalist tells us that Dr Zibran finds this influenza outbreak ‘very unusual’ for this time of year. I reckon that’s an understatement. He then urges us not to be complacent.

“Influenza is highly contagious and far more serious than the common cold. Influenza may last for more than a week and can include fever and chills, cough, runny nose, joint pain, headaches, nausea and vomiting,” he said.

What a revelation. Influenza is another one of those vague all-purpose terms like vaccine, autism or syndrome. If you can get something classified as a syndrome and attach an online pay service then your best friend is the public’s gullibility. Government is often their to help.

Are you in conflict here.? It seems most people aren’t. For me, having been lied to through much of the joyous Covid-19 experience, I went looking for a second, third and sometimes up to a 15th opinion. There is real doubt about these medical experts’ capacity to isolate, identify or prove the existence of these threats and ipso facto the fanciful products designed to combat them. What was the Zelensky protocol really doing? What is Peter McCullough flogging now?

We all have the duty and right to make our own choices unless government decides to take that right away from us as it attempted to do during Covid. Sadly, poorly informed, indeed propagandised public opinion was then roused to fracture old friendships and even families in the service of industrial grade fraud.

And then our journalist gives us that “children will kill grandma” line. Your children are incendiary influenza bombs that can go off at any time without an injection.

”School aged children are the highest carriers of the virus, with 16 per cent of carriers aged 5-9 and 17 per cent aged 10-19. With the completion of the school year and the festive season bringing loved ones together, there’s an increased risk of school aged carriers passing viruses onto vulnerable age groups including older adults and babies”.

Are you going to fall for this again? Such precise threats. I would love to see the workings on which these predictions are based.

“It may stop you from getting sick, and even if you do catch the flu, it can make your symptoms much milder and reduce the risk of hospitalisation or serious complications,” Dr Zibran said.

So the injection doesn’t stop anything. It just makes you feel better while you have it. Weigh that up against allowing it to tear through your immune system to introduce a toxin of unknown content or effect.

How gullible are you?

The vaccine is recommended for everyone over six months of age, particularly those aged 65 and older or those planning overseas travel to countries where influenza is circulating.

Based on these figures, the real danger is for unaware tourists who lob in the middle of a Sydney’s 2025 bubonic plague. And before you give this mystery elixir to your six month old, do some research. The “SCIENCE” is not settled. Far from it.

Finally, just some checking on New South Wales Health’s numbers.

From where did this 10 times emerge? They don’t match the state results.

Figures for Lithgow were not available but the Nepean Blue Mountains figures come closer to supporting the narrative. This raises the question why people in the Nepean Blue Mountains should be sicker than the rest of the state. I doubt whether the Gazette checked these figures. They merely published them. Anyway, believe them if you want. I don’t. It looks like an international propaganda campaign designed for the gullible. The figures below headed Nepean Blue Mountains also represent influenza cases.

If you are listening to this rather than reading, please take note. At around the 7minute 50second point, the work TRANSFECTION is garbled, unintelligible. I make no particular claim for this here but merely note this event. As this is at the very core of the mRNA process and has been used in medical laboratories for over 20 years, such limited knowledge of the term is noteworthy.

Brave AI states:
”mRNA transfection is a process in which synthetic or in vitro-transcribed messenger RNA (mRNA) is introduced into cells to enable the expression of a specific protein”.

RNA transfection is over 20 years old. You have never heard the term after forensically following the Covid-19 debate for over 5 years? You might wonder why.

Taking Offense for AI

As we know AI is a product without the capacity for emotion. So when I told a fellow substacker that I thought the AI model he was talking to was dumb, I was surprised to find he took offense on “her” behalf. This particular model was spitting out the worst in official Covid-19 propaganda and when I asked the presenter to question AI on the term TRANSFECTION, I was accused of spinning a conspiracy theory. Our difficulties with AI and people who use it maliciously or foolishly are just beginning.

I have just come back from town where I bumped into an old friend.

Me: “How are you going Bert?” (not his real name but discretion is needed).

Old Friend: “Great. What are you up to?”.

Me: “Trying to make sense of the world.”.

Old Friend: “Saving the world?”

Me: “No, trying to make sense of it”.

Old Friend: “How about that Trump?”

Me: “The Democrats are no better”.

Old Friend: “Yeah, they are hopeless. The comedians are sticking it to Trump. People like Jimmy Kimmel. They are hilarious”.

Me: “Kimmel is an idiot”. I said something a little more forceful but let’s pretend.

Old Friend: “And Stephen Colbert”.

Me: “He’s vile”.

That was the end of an exhilarating exchange.

15 years ago, I spent a couple of days helping this friend and his wife relocate to another state. I don’t remember anyone else carrying the boxes with us. They recently returned to live in Katoomba.

One of the only other times I have seen this fellow following his return was on election day with his wife. On that day she said to me:

”I know you have different views to us NOW but you will always be a friend”.

Her assessment of my views hadn’t come from any conversation she’d conducted with me. They appear to have been gleaned from reports of my eccentric Covid behaviour in refusing the injections and my questioning of whether doing so was a good idea.

He might “go off” any minute.

Social media observations by former friends that I was now a right wing lunatic may also have provided her with this vital intelligence. I was taken aback by her reassurance of ongoing friendship as I was not sure I needed or merited it. Despite being back in town for a couple of years, they have made no effort to contact me or my family. I took this as a sign of a cooling, if not a frosting in our relationship. I guess this desire to comfort me may have been inspired by my new volatile reputation.

”He might go off any minute”.

Which brings me to the fragile nature of friendship. During the Covid era, many friendships were fractured. Our town is still recovering from this and our Mayor gleefully stokes division at every opportunity in announcing his faith in vaccination in its many forms.

He gets away with this because fear has trumped curiosity. People are naturally fearful that the decision they took to take these injections was wrong. They might have hurt a member of the family. They may be fearful of losing face in their social circle by admitting uncertainty. I am sure there are many reasons. What reasons have you discerned?

Had we had a longer conversation, I might have offered my friend my very real concerns about Trump’s Stargate Initiative and some of the awful people he has promoted to his ACIP committee and other key portfolios, including Robert Kennedy Jnr and Robert Malone. By not replying “Yeah, that Trump is awful”, I became a Trumper or something worse.

Of my friend’s heroes and their sticking it to Trump, Kimmel celebrated the denial of antibiotics to people in need. This was a key part of official protocol through much of the West. Kimmel’s exultant audience cheered people’s death sentence.

Curiosity is not only discouraged, it is ridiculed.

And what can you say of Colbert? This is a family page so I will refrain. The only way support for despicable people like this is sustained is through our isolation into groups of ignorance and prejudice. Curiosity is not only discouraged, it is ridiculed.

School taught us the worst thing we could do was make a mistake or ask a silly question in front of our peers. Their jeers made sure you didn’t display that impertinence again. Now, it is media that performs this task. Ubiquitous media.

This is not really about Colbert and Kimmel. If they were removed, other shills would gladly take their place. They are scripted actors whose job is to represent the interests of powerful people. This is the point I would like to have made to my friend but to do that I would have had to interrupt his laughing at their genius.

In Australia, the word Trump has come to stand for all that is wrong with the world. You don’t need to think. To use that word in leftist circles, optionally in a sentence, is a mark of one’s eloquence on political matters. Step outside the circle and it is seen for what it is. Impossibly dumb. That is not to defend Trump. He is just the latest gargoyle1 that world politics has vomited up. He is a caricature of mainstream and social media creation.

I trust you already look at mainstream media with a jaundiced eye or two but it is time to get off social media before all is lost. Pick up a good book.

And how about that Trump?

At this point, I feel that I have been manipulated by so many official narratives. Lab leaks, Ivermectin, viruses, antibiotic fables, Covid statistics, protocols, PCR testing, masks, social distancing, shedding, published journal articles, Event 201, Trusted News Initiative. That’s just in the Covid era.

And then there were the lies I grew up with such as how the money system works. You know, like the one Leigh Sales used to use to stop a politician dead on ABC Australia’s 7.30 program:

“Where will the money come from?”

The politicians knew the answer but they could not tell us. What we knew was there was always money for war and nuclear submarines. And for Covid. You wonder where the inflation we are experiencing came from? Time to get off social media and do some research.

That was the mood I was in when someone sent me this Maria Zee scoop. I remember Maria before she became an InfoWars superstar and was just trying to make sense of the Covid madness like me. She might have been a little ahead of me in figuring things out but not much. Our paths have diverged sharply since. I had just finished watching a two hour Jonathan Couey video from which the clip below is taken so I was not exactly in the mood to enjoy a Vinay Prasad triumph. Especially, not an FDA leak that appeared anything but revelatory.

Some context. At present, there are only two people offering commentary on the world to which I am giving any attention, aside from the occasional Substacker. This could change but at present these two fellows seem to be making a lot of sense. They are Jonathan Couey and Mark Kulacz. Both Americans.

I think their description of where we are and the role social media plays in shaping our world is insightful but also potentially damning if we fail to take their advice. They suggest it is as though we are participating in an episode of Star Trek. You young people will have no idea what I’m talking about so choose your own program.

Whatever the performance is, we have made the mistake of thinking we are part of the show. We think that the messages we send out on social media are influencing the show’s script. We might send an alert via Facebook or comment on a Substack article written by some modern day Captain Kirk and think we have mind-melded (to use a Star Trek term) with him. We might urge Spock to use his Phaser and see a comment that suggests he may be listening…TO ME.

What does stupidity look like?

When we get a like or a comment from someone who appears to be a key player in the pantomime, it validates us and we think we really are contributing to the narrative. That is simply stupid. More commonly, we get reinforcement from other “extras” who tell us how sharp our thinking is. Meanwhile, we are surrounded by actors whether they be politicians, bureaucrats, celebrity medics, TV presenters, social media influencers, podcasters, commentators or someone else on the payroll.

Chances are if someone is on a social media platform and has a particularly large following, they were put there. If not and they still have a large following, they are probably tolerated because they are effectively wasting your time. They might even be sheep dogging you back into the herd. The only way to influence the script is to pay money and that is not your $10 or $20 a month. Narrative control demands big money.

Kulack and Couey’s strongest challenge is when they point out how little we have progressed in six years in understanding what this scam is really about. “IS NOT WAS” because the real challenges seem to be ahead of us. Up until now, we have been split into at least three groups:

• The Fauci Lovers

• The Lab Leakers which split further into those who think something escaped and those that think something was released. This is often part of a gain-of-function narrative.

• The No-Virus people

Here is where the No-Virus people have a question or two that they might like to answer. What killed people if it wasn’t the virus (and like them I don’t believe it was the non-existent virus). Couey has another plausible explanation that relates to bacteriophages that I will leave you to discover. Kulack’s work on the Wuhan virus whistleblower Li-Meng Yan and the very well-connected family she married into is stunning.

These three groups have been encouraged to battle it out among themselves on social media or at least that was the case early on. By now each is bunkered into their segregated social media group certain of their position and too ready to defend it.

When Maria Zee posted her piece about former ZDogg performer, Vinay Prasad, turned whistleblower and gave us this expose on 10 childhood deaths relating to mRNA vaccines I was less than startled.

I need to make it clear that I am still trying to understand, fully, Couey’s and Kulacz’s analysis of Indian influence and the dangers they attribute to it. In Prasad’s case, I think there are very important questions as to whether he is a serious or trustworthy performer.

There are some names that are always cut from the script

From Bobby Kennedy Jnr to the Childrens Health Defense, to Robert Malone, Vinay Prasada, Marty Makery and many more I think they can all clearly be seen to be reading a script. This is a script that will never include the names Toni Bark or Brandy Vaughan and both these women worked with Childrens Health Defense.

This is because of the Australian Federal Government’s plan to enforce a Digital Id on under 16 year old social media users. That happens the same day that the United Nations “16 Days of Saying No To Violence” ends. Coincidence? It is a trick because how will we prove we are over 16.

Jonathon Couey

is a Biology PhD who worked at Pittsburgh University and for Childrens Health Defense. He was the key researcher contributing to this book though he had serious questions about the book’s conclusions. He was the first person acknowledged in it and the most acknowledged contributor. is a former systems engineer who worked for some the world’s biggest computer and software engineering companies. He is the creator of one of the most extensive research archives on the internet and is an exceptional analyst. Like Jonathan, Mark is extraordinarily generous in the time he commits to creating a better informed public.

Just before we start. We need to have a little word about this.

Have you seen this sign as you were leaving or arriving in Katoomba over the past few days. Well, if you haven’t take note. You must NOT say YES TO VIOLENCE any time from 25th November to 10th December. This is another fabulous United Nations initiative that runs from International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women until everyone’s Human Rights Day on 10th December. So if you feel the urge to say YES, you will have to bottle it up for the next 10 days. A recent Council program trained local people to identify the type of person who might say “YES” so if you don’t heed this message you will be caught and turned in to the Mayor.

Blue Mountains World Heritage Symposium

Last Friday the Carrington Hotel, in Katoomba, hosted an event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Greater Blue Mountains Area’s successful recognition by UNESCO (UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization)1 as a World Heritage Site.2

The event was organised by the Blue Mountains World Heritage Institute (BMWHI) which first began operations in 2004. In support of the nomination, in 1998, the New South Wales National Parks and Wildlife Service made a submission with support from Environment Australia (formerly part of the Australian Government’s Department of the Environment and Heritage). 3

In that submission, there were 29 references to the towns that sit within this world heritage nominated area. Conversely, in the final UNESCO document noting the Blue Mountains successful nomination, the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) repositioned the importance of these same towns:

”There are nineteen townships with a combined population of 80,000 people (latest available figures). The settlements do NOT form part of the Greater Blue Mountains Area and are equivalent in extent to around 1% of the property”.4

In other words, people have nothing to do with this.

The Blue Mountains World Heritage Institute (BMWHI) once appeared to have a close relationship with the IUCN but that is no longer apparent on its website.5 Recently, IUCN made this endorsement.

This is largely about supporting the acceleration of carbon trading markets6 and these Conference of Parties (COP) events are where the world’s biggest financiers come to help countries with their climate change responsibilities. This is linked to the nebulous concept of “fiscal space” which can be as big as these financiers and their UN aligned friends want it to be.

World Wildlife Fund, IUCN and COP31

These financiers’ cause is helped when compliant governments set ambitious CO2 reduction targets. Australia’s Minister for Climate Change and Energy, Chris Bowen, has been named “president of the COP for the purposes of negotiations” for next year’s COP 31 in Turkey. Therefore we can expect some high level complying to be done on our behalf.

The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) tells us more here about Australia’s proposed key role. 7 This organisation is worthy of particular note here in that it was set up to drive funding to the IUCN as part of the Morges Manifesto. The IUCN’s founders and their interest in eugenics are worthy of your attention too.8 9

In an international conference in Abu Dhabi last October, the IUCN passed this motion with strong Australian support. This was meant to provide input to the December COP30. What this means for you and me is not clear but in the meantime be careful what you prune.

Back to Friday’s event. It was mid-morning before I joined the show online and a presentation by Peter Shadie from the IUCN was my first viewing. He confirmed his organisation’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. He also shared the IUCN’s World Heritage Outlook. Here is its scientific assessment.

Sadly, I missed Wayne Brennan’s Dargan Shelter presentation . Anything Wayne says is worth listening to and is always reflective of his open and generous nature. 10

Our Big Picture Council

Five councils comprise the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage area but overwhelmingly the Council with principle responsibility and interest in this region is Blue Mountains City Council (BMCC). So my Council’s leading role in this event is not surprising. What was surprising was the absence of our Mayor. The presence of a live audience of 200, another online crowd, a camera and microphone make his absence inexplicable.

His spot was taken by Council’s CEO, Rosemary Dillon. By my reckoning, Rosemary has been at BMCC for at least 42 years. We heard how worried she is about the climate. The importance of Ngurra. The Rights of Nature and Council’s contribution to the Rockefeller Planetary Health project and about the model below of which she and Council “are incredibly proud”.

A young indigenous woman, Tiahni Adamson from South Australia, spoke of the importance of looking after our “mob” and of creating opportunities for the local indigenous population. We learned from Science for Wildlife there are many more koalas in the region than we thought and they climb to different spots in trees depending whether it is summer or winter, hot or cold. 11

This is part of something called a “stewardship” alliance. I have no idea. As one of the last remaining areas of our lives that have not yet been financialised (see entrepreneurialism and species investment markets12 and the Australian Government’s Natural Capital Handbook13), I am putting forward the idea of a WORD betting market. This is where we bet on the increasing frequency of a word’s use. That word stewardship comes with an asterisk as a new government and Council favourite.

“SMART” goes bush

Later at the symposium we learned that sensors in the bush will monitor plant, insect and animal performance. Terrific. We can no longer go on supporting underperforming plants or species. The idea of measuring individual human energy use and output had a strong focus in the 1930s through Howard Scott’s Technocracy Inc. Elon Musk’s grandfather, Joshua Haldeman, ran the Canadian branch of this movement.14 Unfortunately for Scott and Haldeman, the technology was not in place to allow our masters to define us as societal boons or burdens. It is now.

With human birth rates collapsing, the extension of such accountability to non-human life is to be welcomed. It is obvious, looking at international population pyramids, that humans, particularly those in the West, will in future not be the problem they are perceived to be now. Mark Kulacz of Housatonic does a wonderful job of explaining this largely undiscussed phenomenon along with a more than interesting analysis of citizen journalism.15

When this takes effect, the celebration of climate doomsday predictions, such as those engaged in by attendees at Friday’s symposium, will belong to the past. In the meantime, ESG framing, supplicant bureaucrats and politicians will continue to reshape our economy to meet the needs of carbon traders16 and green bond sales spivs.17 I am sure you have heard of the term “Smart City”. Now, get ready to embrace the “Smart Bush”. This is a Western Sydney University project.

Former Premier, Bob Carr, was there too. He hammered the idea of climate calamity while noting the World Heritage nomination as one of his party’s great successes during his incumbency. As he spoke, I was reminded of one of the less publicised and almost forgotten legacies of his time as state leader. He anointed the Blue Mountains as New South Wales’ Inaugural City of the Arts. This happened in 1995 shortly after he took office. I attended the official announcement made in the Katoomba Council chambers.

The vision was then driven by Deputy Mayor and soon to be Mayor of the Blue Mountains Jim Angel. What happened to it? I am not sure whether it was forgotten, mislaid or buried. This vision always had a problem. Firstly, it came from the community which roused palpable angst and resentment inside Council. It involved people and people can be annoying. Sometimes they get so uppity as to challenge authority and expect to have a say in their future.

Elements of this 1995 plan rolled out over the next 20 years with the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre as one of the key achievements. The centre opened its doors in 2012. These turned out to be three largely hidden entrances. To this day many local people could not tell you where or what it is. Council also appointed a director from outside of the region who actively avoided community engagement and any need to meet local expectations. Management did not see this as a problem. This fellow seemed to be the right man for the job.

So how did things turn out? These are the latest income and expenditure figures for Visitor Information Centres in the Blue Mountains.

Aside from hiding the Centre, Council made the astonishing decision to exclude an information service from it. This protected the income stream for the Echo Point cash cow but did little for local towns or to present a richer visitor experience which might have encouraged repeat visits. Concealed in Council documents are tepid references to promoting longer visitor stays as a key tourism goal.

You won’t believe this

And you won’t believe this. 26 years after promising to give the town a Visitor Information Centre, Council opened one in the centre of town in August 2024. In keeping with the Cultural Centre vision, this site was opened with poor signage and promotion. Yesterday, Council staff decided to close it and move it guess where? To the hidden Cultural Centre. It will be placed behind the secret entrances without supporting signage.

I dropped by to confirm that the space was actually closing and found visitors who read the sign “INFORMATION CENTRE” and hadn’t realised it was closed. Fortunately, a staff member was there to help them out.

While there I decided to ask what plans were in place to help people find the Information Centre in the secret Cultural Centre. I was told there is a WayFinding project being put in place to address that and it has already started at the railway station. I found this at the entry to the station. Is there more to it than this??????

This is a bit like saying its down there somewhere.

All of this has taken place in the complete absence of debate, announcement or apology. It is as though these Council services are senior staff’s personal play thing through which they bestow jobs and favours. Who is in charge here? Who is responsible for permitting this behaviour?

Today, the Cultural Centre appears to be making a better than $1.5m annual loss. Will this provide justification for cutbacks or to close it down. Yet, according to Mayor Greenhill’s triumphant touting somewhere between 4.3 to 5 million people visit the region annually. We are pretty sure most of them flash past one of the Council Centre’s hidden entrances but we don’t know for sure.

And this is where I want to bring two stories together. The executive and senior managers of our Council seem to love the environment. It doesn’t talk back. It doesn’t have expectations. This patience and forbearance deserve to be rewarded. Initiatives like Rights of Nature18 seem directed at that purpose. Similarly, “indigenous paramountcy” 19 appears to serve a similar purpose by using a small forbearing section of the community (2.7% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people) to prestige or rubber stamp adventitious policy decisions. A similar game is played with carefully curated environmental groups.

Of the 200 people who attended Friday’s event and are in work, it would be safe to say that many, if not the bulk, are paid through the public purse. That would certainly be true of the presenters. To this group we can add Council employees.

Time to speak up

All I am asking is that some of the money and the focus that is directed at people and things that don’t talk back be directed towards the activities and interests of people that do.

• Could we start by applying the same level of analysis, attention and care that is being used to track wildlife to understanding where people go when they come to this region?

• Could we seek to understand why visitors go where they do and how their experience might be enriched in a way that benefits the local community (this was a key goal of the long buried 1999 Katoomba Charrette Outcomes Report20).

• What benefits are provided by these Visitor Information Centres to local business and community as opposed to filling the Council till?

• Where and how are any benefits measured or even considered in planning?

• What impact has charging visitors to park in town had?

• Katoomba is one of the country’s most historic and famous towns. Has anyone in authority walked down the street recently and asked what is going on? Other towns are having similar problems.

The truly astonishing mismanagement that characterises tourism in the Blue Mountains over many years should not be allowed to continue. Does anyone want to talk about tourist coach management? We have people in our Council who appear to be accountable to no-one; who are disdainful of the local community and are never held to account for their failures. And they appear determined to perpetuate them. Unfairly, this reflects on the many good people who work there.

Finally, once we have solved this apparently insurmountable problem and met the vital needs of carbon and green bond traders we might then direct the analytical skills acquired to the issues of housing, unemployment, burgeoning mental illness and youth suicide. We might even be surprised to find these issues are linked. I might add another of those useless, posturing, employment agencies opened in town this week. Does anyone know what their true purpose is?

This has provided our pompous, pretentious, promenading Mayor the opportunity to pretend he has some special claim on these values and a divine right to lecture the rest of us. Put it away, Mark. We know you too well. Stop avoiding the big issues and get your staff under control.

I am not sure why it should happen now but I have recently come across people taking an interest in Fabianism. What is it? It is a political system that doesn’t want you to know it exists. How does it work? By copying the tactical genius of Roman general, Quintus Fabius Maximus Verrucosus, also known as the Cuncator or Delayer. His strategy, employed during the Second Punic War (201-218 AD), involved skirmishing with Hannibal rather than direct confrontation.

Fabianism is a form of Socialism. How this translates to the modern day is that Fabianism and its followers seek to shatter existing societal structures as part of a slow revolution employing attrition. Their original motif, the wolf in sheep’s clothing, symbolises how it differs from the violent revolution chosen by Bolshevik and Maoist forms of Socialism. The Fabians are willing to work patiently and white ant society from within.

This is no fringe group. Australian Prime Ministers Whitlam, Hawke, Gillard, Albanese have all been Fabians. Keating may have been too but I await confirmation. According to the author’s work, featured in this story, there were 200 Fabians out of 418 Labour Members of the UK Parliament in 1997. Left wing heroes like John Maynard Keynes, Bertrand Russell and H G Wells were Fabians.

I retained a vague but supportive notion of Socialism for longer than I should. What was the appeal? The same one that attracts so many young people today. The idea of autonomy; of being your own master. That’s its promise. I read Das Kapital and Trotsky’s History of the Russian Revolution but in the end what I couldn’t figure out was how that autonomy would fit with Stalinist management structures that, historically, left little space for personal autonomy. It took me longer than most to figure out that it was simply an overhyped hoax. Not until I read the Milner-Fabian Conspiracy did I come to understand with any depth what this game is about.

Who knew that David Rockefeller was a Socialist? He and his three brothers studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) founded by Sydney Webb and funded by Henry Hunt Hutchinson. Both Webb and George Bernard Shaw were founding members of the Fabian Society which began in 1884. Shaw had a terrific sense of humour which is on display in the clip below.

Meanwhile, the Rockefeller notion of Socialism has monopolistic capitalism at its centre. Who recalls Klaus Schwab’s inspiring words:

”You will own nothing and be happy”.

This is a project that has been running for over 100 years with links to every major event that has taken place in that time. It seems to be coming to the pointy end now.

The book is not easy reading. It took me over a month of assiduous note-taking and rereading of critical paragraphs. The good news is that you don’t have to put yourself through this.

Unbekoming has done an excellent job of describing Fabianism and its relationship to Liberal elites like the Rockefellers, Rothschilds and friends who actually belong to the other half of this story. On a related story, while walking the dog this morning I came across an interesting book. I found it in one of those street libraries that dot my town. It’s called Australia Betrayed.

This book seems to be telling some of the same stories as Ioan Ratiu does in the Milner-Fabian Conspiracy but it was written much earlier in 1995. It points to 10% of Australians being born overseas. In 2025, that number is 31% and the population has doubled in that time. This influx of humanity has occurred simultaneously with governments at all levels whipping up a frenzy of multicultural euphoria. This has obviously been an economic and social triumph.

This is most evident in house prices. Three times an Australian annual average wage was once considered comfortable. Four times was considered difficult. Five times very hard. Today, that figure is 16 to 18 times and our Commonwealth Bank is capitalised at a higher level than Goldman Sachs. Not bad for a country with .33% of the world’s population. This is a flyweight punching in the super heavyweight class. Well done. George Bernard Shaw and his elitist friends would almost certainly have approved.

Yet, there are people who insist on asking questions and post-Covid we know “only dumb people ask questions” (thanks Jimmy Dore). But there are a lot of them. In fact, 49% of us.

Understanding and even having an opinion on this requires some work. So if you are unwilling to consider the arguments in the Unbekoming summary of the Milner-Fabian Conspiracy, I suggest you just line up for your next booster shot. The Fabians will love you. They might even give you a red guard uniform and allow you to choose a new gender.
