I tried to leave it as open as possible but still hinting of slash, because it's me. ^__^

The author who paired up with me is pearlstar178! The fic can be found HERE. It's rated hard R, with Kirk/Spock, Mirror Kirk/Spock, mentions of Kirk/Gaila and others. If this is your thing, please go read and leave a nice review! <3

Happy Halloween!

Happy hauntings to all you little ghouls and boys out there! Be safe if you go out trick-or-treating tonight, okay? And save some candy for me. ;D

I'm in a silly mood today, and... get this... I actually drew something! OMG!!

There is an awesome writer in the Star Trek fandom named kyliselle who recently wrote this incredibly fun Halloween fic called All the Night's Magic, and it inspired me to draw a silly doodle!

WARNING: This drawing is somewhat spoilery for the fic, so if you're interested, please go check out the fic first!!! (It's Kirk/Spock slash, just so you know.)

Title: Illustration for All The Night's Magic (I'm bad with titles, heh)
Rating: I dunno, maybe PG or so for the zombies...?
Characters: Spock, Kirk, various monsters
Notes: there's nothing slashy in this drawing, so you can still view it even if Kirk/Spock doesn't do it for you ;)

Yes, I took a little pot-shot at Gary Mitchell there. Poor Gary... heh.

It makes more sense if you've read the fic. Basically, Spock's been kidnapped by a vampire in Savannah, GA and tied to a statue in a graveyard full of zombies, and then a werewolf shows up, and fun times are had by all. :)

Unfortunately, this came out kind of messed up because my scanner HATES my hand-colored art. It always washes out the colors, and overemphasizes the pencil strokes really badly. And I got lazy with the sky, so I PS'ed it. Also, I have a hard time telling how bright or how dark anything is on my screen. So this doesn't look quite the way I wanted it to, but oh well.

This is two years in a row I've drawn something Trekkish for Halloween. ^__^

**********************************************

So, what is everyone doing today/tonight? I'm not doing anything. We don't get any trick-or-treaters here, so we're probably just going to go out to eat and then head over to my grandpa's (he gets tons of trick-or-treaters!), or vice versa. I kind of feel like getting dressed up, and I always have costumes to fall back on (Slytherin clothes, Starfleet uniforms, lots of various witchy stuff, hehe), but being that I'm not really going anywhere special, it seems kind of pointless. We'll see.

On Friday night, I did go to two local haunted house things with Jenn and her sister and her sister's friends, one at the community theatre and one at a REAL haunted house (in downtown, historical Brooksville) -- they were fun! And done surprisingly well, for local events. Last Thursday I went to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios in Orlando with Jay -- it was tons of fun, and much better than the last time we went two years ago, because Thursday nights are not as crowded. And I think the week before that, Jay and I did a haunted walking tour thing in downtown Brooksville (there are lots of supposedly haunted houses there, and they're all so beautiful... old, elegant Victorian homes... I wish I could buy one of them). Oh, and Jenn and I spent a day wandering through two of the local historical cemeteries. So I have definitely been in keeping with the Halloween spirit! Although I never did get around to carving a real pumpkin this year (instead of foam *g*) like I wanted to. Maybe I can buy some leftover/reject pumpkins tomorrow, cut them up, fill them with birdseed and put them out for the birds.

OMG, we just got three little trick-or-treaters... I stand corrected, LOL! But they're the kids of some people we know who purposely brought them here, so it doesn't really count; I doubt we'll get any neighborhood kids. These little guys were all so cute, though -- they were a Buzz Lightyear, a Superman and a tiny Supergirl, awww!

Anyway, I better get going. I hope everyone enjoys their night! :D
