Mayo Tank Problem

There’s a small chance that WMCC will need to turn off the water for a couple hours tomorrow morning (Tuesday, Dec. 9) to everyone on the east side of Walden Blvd. We hope not, but we want to give people a heads-up just in case.

Apologies for the last-minute notification, but the water will be off on the east side of Walden about 10:00 this morning for approximately 1/2 hour.

Today (Wednesday), WMCC needs to turn off the water on Betty Lue and on Magby. It’s possible all or most of Thunderbird Meadows will be turned off as well because we aren’t certain which isolation valves work and which don’t. The water is back on in Thunderbird Meadows!

WMCC is shutting off the water to Betty Lue and perhaps other streets in the area. A company putting in a power pole hit the water main. We’ll know more once we have turned off the water and can assess the damage.
