Our video portraits began as a way to show who we are, two people who live, work, and create together every day, and became something more: a quiet comedy of our life. We don’t see work and life as two separate entities but rather a singular ecosystem, ever growing, altering and nuanced.
The result is part portrait, part performance, a study of intimacy, endurance, and the strange choreography of spending nearly every waking hour side by side.
We use our own bodies as material, shaping gestures that are both genuine and absurd. This stemming from our first collaboration with the photo project COMPLEMENTS, we then always modeled not only as a manner to save budget on models, but as a method to create design as a performance.
Originally created for our new website, these videos extend an invitation to see collaboration not as seamless harmony but as a living, breathing process full of humor, tension, and joy.
