v6.0 [Jan 17, 2013]
- You can add controls such as buttons and sliders to a window that contains a VPython 3D scene and these controls ("widgets") have the look and feel of the platform the program is running on (Windows, Mac, Linux). The usual zoom and rotate mouse options are available in the 3D portion of the window.
- There are "callback" and "waitfor" mechanisms available for handling mouse and keyboard events, which provide more flexibility and capability.
- The functions for reading and writing files now offer platform-standard file dialog boxes.
