I'm having a lot of issues with Vivaldi lately. Screen locks up if it sits for long. I have to go out and reboot totally. Very frustrating! Just have been disappointed since the last few updates.
When I tried it for the first time 7 years ago, I immediately loved it, not only for the possibility of adjusting the UI to the millimeter to personal taste, but also for its great functionality that currently makes it practically unnecessary to use extensions, by incorporating important functions, even a customizable ad-y trackerblocker. There is nothing comparable among other browsers.
I tried one of the newest versions of Opera. Vivaldi is much better for me because of its keyboard support. It's a lot like the old version (8.5) of Opera that I remember.
Very good Chrome alternative. I think they share the same architecture (and definitely same extensions/plugins), without the intruding to personal info that Google brings in with Chrome.
It is also very customisable with vertical tabs and a lot more options through the default settings. Definitely recommend it!
