The Spring Maker’s Market is returning for its second year on Saturday, May 9th — just in time for Mother’s Day weekend. After a wonderful turnout last year, we’re excited to bring this event back to Main Street Norwood for an even bigger and better community celebration of handmade goods. This outdoor market will feature a wide variety of local makers and small businesses, many of whom are based in Albemarle and the surrounding areas. Shoppers can expect handcrafted items including woodworking, crochet, jewelry, laser-engraved pieces, wood burning, apparel, books, and more. Vendors will be set up along Main Street, extending into local storefronts, creating a lively, walkable shopping experience that supports small businesses and brings visitors into the heart of Downtown Norwood. With the event taking place the day before Mother’s Day, it’s the perfect opportunity to spend time with family while finding thoughtful, handmade gifts. We’re proud to host an event that highlights local creators, encourages collaboration between neighboring towns, and brings positive foot traffic to the area.
