To All Possible Residents of Hyrule?

((Note: This entry is open, however, the text is in Hyrulean script, and therefore will not be able to be read by anyone not of Hyrule.))

I hope all who read this find themselves safe and relatively well. It has become apparent that with the volume of people who have ben brought here, there may be others who would be able to name themselves a Hyrulean or at least identify as such.

If there are any such people, I would ask that they may come to the Central square, where myself and another, Link, are waiting.

Triad watch over you,

Princess Zelda

(And I do hope I have managed to use this right, it is like nothing I have encountered in the past.)

Location: Silver Ship #1: Siren.
Rating: PG
Warnings: None.

Silver wings beat once, lightly, and the bird alighted on Zelda's gloved hand, allowing her a closer look. It was a relatively small thing, each feather glimmering in the dying sunlight like multifaceted plates of metal. Armour, it reminded her of armour, that was her first verdict, and she wondered for a moment if it was perhaps mechanical - no word or image of such a thing had ever been presented to her, and so her eyebrows furrowed as she watched it closely.

Yet she could feel it; some odd form of life within it, so something operated it beyond mechanics. Magic, perhaps? But she could feel none, none of that potent charge that was present in all forms of magic she'd encountered, at least.

No matter, not now anyway. The sun was sinking further, and the numb ache that had settled in Zelda long ago flared again as the ground suddenly trembled. She stumbled, but caught herself on a wall, and still, on her other hand, the little silver thing rested, as though on nothing more than a branch in a breeze.

She started praying then, again, even though it was as though she'd been cut off from her deities. Her voice was hoarser than she knew it to be, and as another tremour brought her subjects to sudden life a crescendo of screaming rose, because the sun wasn't the sun but a meteor, and the ground was being torn apart, and Zelda's eyes widened in pure, abandoned fear as all came to an apocalyptic standstill.

The bird took to the air then, beating silver wings. And Zelda reached out.

And her eyes promptly snapped open, the scream in her throat reduced to a choked gasp. Blind and unseeing, for a moment there was only red in her vision, red and black and suddenly silver, bright and brilliant and just out of reach. When, with a flash, her eyes caught up with her conciousness, she became aware that her arm was flailing above her. As soon as noticing, it fell back at her side limply, and she found herself unable to move it or any part of her beyond a feeble twitch.

There was some kind of searing pain in her, an ache that seemed to come from her very bones and lace through every nerve and muscle, paralysing her, trapping her. Her cloak, she felt, was gone, yet her gloves remained, and her headdress was refreshing cool against a brow she presumed to be fevered.

There were no binds about her. Nothing was holding her down except this paralysis, and her eyelashes fluttered as she squinted. Wherever she was, it was bright. Bright enough for her to wonder if that had been intentional or not. Or maybe her eyes were still to catch up with her head.

It was, somehow, easier to breathe than it had been the last time she remembered being awake, though she couldn't tell when that had been. She was a Queen. Yes, because she could feel the familiar weight of her crown. She was Hylian. Yes, because she could feel the tips of her long ears touching cold metal. But Hyrule was destroyed. Then what was this?

Divine intervention?
