Preparing for Preschool<\/h1>\n

A program specifically designed for 2-year-olds with blindness or low vision, your child will work on preschool readiness to help ease the transition to a daily school routine. This class provides a time of structured play, as well as free play with developmentally appropriate activities designed by the teacher, who also focuses on the individualized needs of the children. The two’s class, which meets at the VIPS Louisville campus, can also serve as a playgroup for two-year-olds enrolled in the Kentucky Early Intervention System (KEIS).<\/p>\n

Eligibility for the 2 Day 2’s Class is based upon available openings, the child’s date of birth, and the vision needs of the child. Families interested in 2 Day 2’s should contact their child’s VIPS In Home Early Intervention Teacher.\u00a0 Two-Day 2’s does allow for a limited number of Community Peers.<\/p>\n

No VIPS child or family will be denied services based on income.<\/p>\n\t
