Vintage Story is a voxel-based survival game, inspired by and originally created as a mod for Minecraft (known as Vintagecraft). Tyron and his wife eventually decided to split from the Minecraft modding API to create their own game, finally released in early access as Vintage Story in September 2016.
In the 8 years since its initial release, Vintage Story has grown massively - both in gameplay capability and in player numbers. It is an intricate and realistic horror-flavored survival game, tasking the player with finding various sources of food to keep a balanced diet, to make themselves a fire and warm clothes to survive the harsh weather, and to search for varying metals to create tools and ever-stronger alloys. It also has hints of eldritch horror, with the player finding creatures known as Drifters and Locusts, and surviving reality-warping Temporal Storms that blow through occasionally.
So… what is this?
This website functions both as the webring index for the SeraphRing, and as a fanlisting for any other Vintage Story fans that aren't webmasters!
What's a webring?
A webring is a collection of website owners who share a similar interest or theme, who come together and link their sites together with a widget!
Generally, a webring will have a homepage/home site where the webring index is saved, which automatically updates all members’ widgets when someone new is added. This website is that homepage! You can find our list of webring members on the webring page!
What’s a fanlisting?
A fanlisting is an online list of fans of a certain game, show, movie, comic, or anything else! A website is not necessary to be added to a fanlisting - they are, literally, just a list of people who like the thing in question.
