Small sample size but still.

This didn’t fall short of the mark.

Kyler typically fares well in accuracy metrics, but 5 games isn't enough to say much. What might be more interesting is who is on the other end of this in 36th place of 36 QBs.

Do you only base things off statistics? Not trying to be confrontational. There was a ton of positives from the kid, admit he has some horrendous times. Things you really can't teach a young QB unless he just simply has those traits.

You can call Murray's leadership, or lack thereof, as nothing because we have a good offense around him. I see it as a BIG possibility of causing issues within this group. When you have a leader that lacks that trait - the body language, the sound bites, the on-field antics when he messes up will wear thin fast. Something he has always been known for and has already shown it in MN.

Sound bytes? Body language? I guess we forgot these nuggets from OTAs.

The first thing I noticed

Not much is revealed during OTAs, but things can be gleaned or interpreted. When all four Vikings quarterbacks were on the field at the start of the hot (but not training camp hot) session, three of them were more or less stretching together. Max Brosmer was near Carson Wentz, who was right next to Murray. About 10 yards away — the length of a first down, which often eluded him last year — McCarthy was stretching in a different area. This might mean nothing. But a lot of us noticed it, and that was before McCarthy gave his enticing classroom quote, so it feels relevant.
