Here you'll find my preferences and DNWs for fanvids and fanfics, as well as a list of my requested fandoms and ships. Just click on the cut:

General fanvid preferences - This is my first time requesting vids in an exchange, so I hope I'm not doing anything wrong here.

Regardless of the fandom and ship, you're welcome to use clips from any episode/story arc/season you want to. I'm also completely fine with the use of clips or static images from outside sources if you want to employ those in your vid. If that helps, I like images of flowers, forests, bridges, cottages, water bodies in general, sunrises, sunsets, rural roads, fish, birds, reptiles, mammals, cozy bedrooms and living rooms, bookshelves, vintage kitchens, hammocks, potted plants, stationery, classic art, abstract art, naïve art and kaleidoscopes. I'm also a fan of imagery that has a mystical, magical or mysterious flair to it.

I'd like the vid to have a fluffy or upbeat tone if possible. I believe this shouldn't be hard to achieve for my requested Rayearth, Sailor Moon and Wedding Peach ships. Things may not be so simple for my Saint Seiya ships though, since that anime isn't exactly notorious for its light-hearted content. So, for that particular fandom, you can make an exception and give me something more serious and dramatic if that makes things easier for you.

In terms of pacing, I'd like it to be not too slow and not too fast. If in doubt, slower is better.

As for the soundtrack, here are the types of music I like best: classical music (I have a soft spot for Baroque pieces, but seriously, all periods are welcome), original contemporary instrumental music (especially but not limited to unusual or rare instruments and original piano-based compositions), jazz (especially bass, vibraphone and big band), blues, disco music, eurodance, pop/rock from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.

Fanvid DNWs - Country music, rap or hip-hop for a soundtrack. Images of insects and arachnids. Inclusion of dialogue in the audio.

General fanfic themes, tropes and genres that I like - Romance. Fluff. Happy relationships (even when the characters have a twisted or otherwise unhealthy outlook on life). An overall sense of togetherness, with characters really enjoying each other's company and doing things together in a non-clingy, non-creepy way. Verbal and non-verbal displays of affection. Speculative AUs (fantasy worlds, portal fantasy, urban fantasy, paranormal, sci-fi, magical realism, ghost hunting, demon hunting, mythology, fairy tales). Magic. Fantasy. Action and adventure. Casefic. Suspense. Epistolary fic. Diary fic. Non-conventional prose formats (interviews, found documents, chat logs, scripts, reports etc.). Travels. Domestic bliss. Please don't worry whether your fic is first person or third person POV, instropective or action-filled, plot-driven or character-driven, dialogue-centric or no-dialogue, present tense or past tense, smutty or G-rated, established relationship or get-together. I'm fine with it all.

I'm a sucker for resurrections and for disregarding canon deaths. Some of my ships include characters that died in their canons of origin, so please make sure that they're alive and kicking in your fic.

All of my requested canons are relatively old. However, you're more than welcome to ignore their original time periods and set your story in the 2010s, or even in the future. But if you'd rather stick with strictly canonical time periods, that's fine too.

This is my first time signing up for an AO3 exchange. I did my best to make this letter as helpful as possible to you, dear author. You'll see that for some pairings I give you scenarios and plot starters, whereas for others I give you ideas in the form of words and phrases. Rest assured that the type, length and amount of prompts that I give for any ship doesn't have anything to do with how much I like it. If the ship is listed below, it's because I requested it, and if I requested it, then I like it and I want to read about it.

My likes - First of all, I'm a sucker for resurrections and for disregarding canon deaths. My ships include lots of characters that died in their canons of origin, so please make sure that they're alive and kicking in your fic.

I love dominant women and submissive men. Many of my ships lean naturally that direction, but even for the ships for which that may not be so obvious, I still want the female partner to be in charge.

Almost all of my requested canons are set in the past (sometimes a very distant past). However, you're more than welcome to ignore their original time periods and set your story in the 2010s, or even in the future. But if you'd rather stick with strictly canonical time periods, that's fine too.

A lot of my ships (*cough*Saint Seiya*cough*) include underage characters, and I ask that you age them all up so that they'll be 18 or older (older is probably better) in your fic. I don't give a fuck for canon ages anyway, especially when characters don't even look and act like teenagers. So, ignore canon ages and you'll make me very happy. There's just one exception here, which is my requested StS Omega ship.

Harry Potter

Luna Lovegood/Harry Potter - Camping. Travelling side-by-side by broom. Performing a magic ritual together.

Dean Thomas/Ginny Weasley - Ginny gives him a second chance, and their relationship works out a lot better this time. Bonus if you show me the ways in which he supports her career as a Quidditch player. Maybe it's Quidditch what brings them back together?

Hermione Granger/Xenophilius Lovegood - Hermione needs Xenophilius's help with some obscure healing spell to treat ailing creatures, and as they work together, they both grow in each other's eyes.

Justin Finch-Fletchley/Hermione Granger - Coping with war trauma. Dealing with lingering prejudice against Muggle-borns. Laughing together as they reminisce about their old admiration for Lockhart.

Lily Evans Potter/Severus Snape - Both are brought back to life, but they don't know how this happened. All Lily knows is that despite Severus's objectionable deeds, he's also done good things. And all that Severus knows is that this second chance is not to be missed.

Lucius Malfoy/Ginny Weasley - For this particular ship, I won't really have a problem if you have them cheat on their respective partners (Narcissa and Harry). But if you prefer that their affair happens after they separate from their spouses, that's totally fine too. What I want in either case in a strong attraction, and a sense that they're both using each other and enjoying every minute of it.

Minerva McGonagall/Kingsley Shacklebolt - Making time for private matters amidst multiple professional commitments. Light BDSM with magical touches. Dealing with meddlesome journalists.

Minerva McGonagall/Severus Snape - Intelligence as an aphrodisiac. Bonding and gagging him. Letters that say more than they appear to do.

Pansy Parkinson/Ron Weasley - This is the other ship for which I accept an "illicit" affair, for lack of a better word. If you want to go there, you can make Ron cheat on Hermione and Pansy on Draco. They may eventually break up with their respective partners to go public with their relationship.

Tom Riddle/Ginny Weasley - Letters instead of a diary. Dark rituals or spells to bring him back to our world. Twisted feelings of connection that may or may not be a form of love.

Saint Seiya

Andromeda Shun/Chameleon June - They rebuild the Andromeda Island together, and Shun realizes that he's falling in love with his friend.

Aquarius Camus/Polaris Hilda - Camus moves to Asgard as a result of an agreement between his goddess and Hilda, and he develops romantic feelings for the latter.

Aries Mu/Ophiuchus Shaina - Mu is so serene, whereas Shaina is so hot-tempered. How do they deal with their differences in personality?

Athena | Saori Kido/Poseidon | Julian Solo - Saori is an actual goddess, whereas Julian is "just" a host to a deity. How that affects their relationship?

Athena/Andromeda Shun | Saori Kido/Andromeda Shun - For some reasons, I love the idea of these two going to an amusement park together and sharing cotton candy.

Athena/Aquarius Camus | Saori Kido/Aquarius Camus - Camus falls in love with his goddess, and now, more than ever, he needs to rely on his ability to hide his feelings. Alas, Saori can read right through him.

Athena/Aries Mu | Saori Kido/Aries Mu - A shy, quiet romance, with Saori and Mu getting slowly more comfortable with each other as the relationship progresses.

Athena/Cygnus Hyoga | Saori Kido/Cygnus Hyoga - Watching the sunset together. Kissing in the rain. Visiting Kohoutek.

Athena/Dragon Shiryu | Dragon Shiryu/Saori Kido - New Year celebration. Hair kink. Massaging her back, shoulders or feet.

Athena/Phoenix Ikki | Saori Kido/Phoenix Ikki - Saori's been wounded by enemies and Ikki takes her to a safe place. He's surprisingly careful and gentle when treating her wounds.

Eagle Marin/Cepheus Albiore - While trying to assist their respective pupils in a mission or project, Marin and Albiore get to know each other better.

Eagle Marin/Cygnus Hyoga - I'd like to see Hyoga trying to find a balance between genuinely loving an older, mature woman and dealing with the possibility that's she's kind of a partial replacement for his mother. But give the fic a happy or hopeful ending, please!

Eagle Marin/Lizard Misty - How would Misty treat Marin now that he knows she was fighting for the real Athena and he was not? In his attempts to make up for his mistake, he may very well find himself seeing her with other eyes.

Eagle Marin/Phoenix Ikki - Surprisingly corny greeting cards from him. Karaoke. Blindfolding and handcuffing him.

Eagle Marin/Taurus Aldebaran - Being Brazilian, Aldebaran is probably very much into public displays of affection. How does Marin, having a completely different cultural background, feel about it?

Eri Aizawa/Cygnus Hyoga - I'd love for them to get engaged and then married. The wedding day, the honeymoon, their decision on whether to have children or not and how many, etc.

Eris/Cancer Deathmask - I can't help but picture them being gloriously and remorselessly evil together and having a great time at it.

Esmeralda/Phoenix Ikki - What if Esmeralda reapparead alive and nobody knew who brought her back and why? For this ship I want all the fluff, all the happy, cozy feelings, please!

Eurydice/Lyra Orphée - Goodnight kisses. Attending a classical music concert. Visiting her at work.

Geist/Taurus Aldebaran - Redeemed!Geist, please. I feel that Aldebaran would be great at supporting Geist as she comes to terms with the dark past she left behind.

Geist/Aquarius Camus - I want redeemed!Geist here too. I'd like to see the contrast between the uptight Camus and the bold woman he falls for.

Gemini Kanon/Mermaid Thetis - Established relationship for these two, please. They reunite after the Holy War against Hades is over, and happily resume their romance.

Gemini Saga/Polaris Hilda - Both have done terrible things that they deeply regret. As a result, they really get each other.

Mermaid Thetis/Siren Sorrento - Thetis and Sorrento watch over the host of their god, and this brings them closer and closer.

Ophiuchus Shaina/Aquarius Camus - An awkward love confession (by Camus, because I don't think Shaina would have a problem expressing her feelings).

Ophiuchus Shaina/Cepheus Albiore - Albiore is a successful teacher. Shaina, not so much. Maybe she asks him for teaching advice and this brings them together?

Ophiuchus Shaina/Hound Asterion - Shaina has concerns due to Asterion being able to read minds, but he proves himself a respectful partner who doesn't violate any boundaries and will only read the minds of enemies on a battlefield.

Ophiuchus Shaina/Perseus Algol - Friends with benefits. Fuck buddies. Moving in together.

Ophiuchus Shaina/Phoenix Ikki - They go on a mission, have lots of fun kicking asses together and realize that they really enjoy each other's company.

Ophiuchus Shaina/Taurus Aldebaran - Give me all the displays of public affection! Lots of hugs, kisses, loving talk, everything!

Pandora/Sphinx Pharaoh - Envy, resentment and a general sense that life's been unfair to them is what brings and keep them together.

Polaris Hilda/Phecda Gamma Thor - Secret romance. Us against the world ("world" meaning the Asgardian society). Travelling together to a remote place.

Polaris Hilda/Phoenix Ikki - Travelling to a warm place. Attending a holiday festival in Japan. Celebrating their first anniversary.

Seika/Phoenix Ikki - Lending a coat in the cold. Road trip. Relationship milestones.

Saint Seiya: Soul of Gold

Leo Aiolia/Lyfia - I want them to become lovers, to get engaged, to marry and to be immensely happy together.

Lyfia/Gullinbursti Frodi - With Lyfia now being Odin's representative on Earth, maybe Frodi thinks that she's off-limits to him. But she can show him that he's wrong.

Polaris Hilda/Sagittarius Aiolos - Now that the battles are over, Aiolos and Hilda could get to know each other better and slowly fall in love.

Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary

Scorpio Milo/Capricorn Shura - Friends to lovers. Candlelight dinner. Bubble bath. Making out during or after a training session.

Saint Seiya: Saintia Sho

Equuleus Shoko/Scorpio Milo - Attending a party or ball together. Strolling on a beach. Nail polishing.

Saint Seiya Omega

Aquila Yuna/Dragon Ryuho - This pairing is just perfect for a first kiss scene! I'd also like to see how Ryuho's parents would treat Yuna. For this ship, you don't need to age the characters up, as I'm fine with their canon ages.

Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas

Aquarius Dégel/Seraphina - What about a fix-it fic for these two? Let them live and have a chance to get together, please! No tragedies, just happiness.

Aries Shion/Crane Yuzuriha - What if Shion never became the Pope and instead married Yuzuriha? what if he became a househusband, while she continued to fight as an Amazon?

Crossover Fandom

Frida Kahlo (Artists RPF)/Severus Snape (Harry Potter) - I don't care if you'll resort to Time-Turners, portrait!romance, shifting canon timelines so that they are born in the same time period... Just make this ship happen, please! And let Frida and Severus be happy together, of course.

Bellatrix Black Lestrange (Harry Potter)/Cancer Deathmask (Saint Seiya) - She could teach him about Horcruxes and how to combine the Dark Arts with cosmo-energy. He could show her the joys of collecting the heads of victims and decorating her house with these most exquisite trophies.

Luna Lovegood (Harry Potter)/Andromeda Shun (Saint Seiya) - I think that they'd make a really sweet couple. Shun would be very accepting of Luna's eccentricities and even follow her in some of her adventures.

Nymphadora Tonks (Harry Potter)/Aquarius Camus (Saint Seiya) - The straight-laced Camus might find the outgoing and playful Tonks rather scary at first. Eventually, he wouldn't really learn to relax a little, but he'd be glad to be part of her life and watch her relax on his behalf. Please, write about OotP!Tonks and ignore her better-behaved version from the subsequent books.

Minerva McGonagall (Harry Potter)/Aries Shion (Saint Seiya) - She's the headmistress of an important school of wizardry and witchcraft. He's the Pope of the sanctuary of a goddess. They could have endless conversations (or exchange endless letters) about their different worlds, their way of naming and dealing with their powers, etc. I'm sure that Minerva and Shion would enjoy each other's company immensely.

Scorpio Milo (Legend of Sanctuary)/Scorpio Milo (Saint Seiya) - Maybe they exist in parallel dimensions and their paths cross due to an interdimensional accident. Or maybe they exist in the same reality and nobody knows why all of a sudden there are two Scorpio Gold Saints. Regardless, they may be baffled at each other at first, but then they'll come to enjoy each other's company.
