[Annoying alarm, meet in the canyon, you know the drill.]

Welcome everyone to your fifth event. This event will test out your improvisation skills, weapon skills, and your speed.

I trust you all are wearing your bracelets. Once again, your lives are at stake in this competition.

This event is called Stockpile. Hopefully you have all had time to look through game guide left in your common rooms, as well as view the instructional video.

The event will begin in a few minutes, so take advantage of this time to strategize with your teammates.

[[If you are playing, comment with your character in this post to be assigned a weapon. Your assigned weapon's pros and cons will be explained in the comment. Once all the weapons are assigned, your team will have five minutes to talk in a private chat. You will need to find a place to place your home circle.

I would appreciate if people have more than one character on separate teams they're willing to play with, that you comment with both of them. You will only play as one, but it will be easier for me to make the teams even if I have more to choose from.

Once the home circles have been decided, the flags will be placed, and the game will begin. You will have two minutes per round to get as many flags into your circle as possible. Once a round ends, points will be added up, and a break will be taken before the next round. The rounds will continue until a team gets 10 points.

If you die in one round, you will respawn in time for the next round.

Greetings! I am here to make a few announcements.

First off, congratulations to the Red Team for their recent win! Superb job. However, one of your teammates remains deceased. While it is unknown how he was killed, as it was not in relation to the event, I would recommend reviving him.

I would like to announce some new recruits in the canyon. You might have noticed them walking around. Please make a habit of looking at the blue team and red team rosters to view your new teammates.

The electrical problems with the bases have been fixed. There should be no maintenance issues in the canyon.

I will be around for the next little while to answer any questions, discuss team assignments, or anything else you would like to discuss.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Welcome everyone to your fourth event. This event will test out your speed, ability to move as a unit, as well as your skill with your firearms.

I trust you all are wearing your bracelets. This is the first event where you run the risk of being killed in battle, and if you are not wearing your bracelet, you will not be able to come back.

This event is called Team Oddball. Hopefully you have all had time to look through game guide left in your common rooms, as this event is a bit more complicated than the past events.

TRAINING | EQUIPMENT

Welcome to your second day of training. All weapons from the previous training have been locked in the armory and will not be accessible until events, so I hope you all got your practice in.

Today you will be introduced to some of the equipment you will be allowed to use in battle. In front of you, numerous equipment pieces have been laid out for you to examine. Any equipment that typically explodes after a certain period still contains those properties, so please be careful not to injure yourself or others.

A detailed description and list of each equipment piece can be found here. The only equipment pieces that are not available today is the power drain and the trip mine, as they are too dangerous to be used outside of battle.

Please familiarize yourself with the weight of the equipment, as some are heavier than others, and how to activate it.

I will be monitoring the training today, if you have any questions.

[ Sets up a series of five dummy targets on the edge of the canyon, disguised with red war paint and some awkward looking faces that clearly resemble his team back in Balamb Garden. It's evident he hasn't forgotten the sheer stupidity that those put him through. ]

[ Out of the five weapons he's taken for practice, he grabs the nearest to him, the Assault Rifle. It feels bulky in his hands, unlike his Hyperion - why the Party Leader wouldn't let him use here was beyond him, guns were so much more ineffective for him. He lines up his hands, just the way he learned from the videos he played with disinterest. Watching was one thing, first hand experience was another. The trigger's bulky and resistant to his fingers, but he takes aim anyway and squeezes. ]

[ Well, that was an unexpected weapon - the recoil pushed him back and there's stray bullet shells and god his aim was so bad with that and his designated target was shot only on the left and instead he decimated the dummy on the otherside. ]

Right. Stupid weapon.

[ He tosses the rifle aside, clearly that's not for him and moves onto the next. It's gonna be a long night. ]

[There is a Samus Aran sans Power Suit on the ridge near Blue Base. She's trying out the sniper rifle as part of the training exercise. She's sure she can figure out the other weapons with ease, but sniping...is one of her weak points. This is her chance to work on eliminating that point.]

Welcome to your first day of training. There will be no event today; instead you will be learning how to use the weapons allowed in combat here in this outpost.

Multiple firearms have been placed out in front of you. They do not contain live ammunition, instead containing pellets similar to those found in your average airsoft gun. The pellets vary in size and weight depending on the firearm. While they are not dangerous, anyone found firing at each other will lose points.

A detailed description and list of each firearm can be found here. I suggest getting to know each of these firearms, as some of the competitions will randomly pair you up with one, instead of allowing your team captain to assign them.

Numerous targets have been spread out around the canyon for you to practice with. Tomorrow you will be familiarizing yourselves with other types of equipment, so please use your time wisely today.

I will be monitoring the training today, if you have any questions.
