Holiday 2004: my list of notables

Half-life 2

A great videogame to be sure, The most advanced physics engine of any video game ever created and some of the best graphics and a (assureadly) excellent and hauntingly weird science fiction plot make this at the top of my list

Gran Tourismo 4

The sequel to the best Racing Simulation Game of all time (and one of my favorite games of all time) has almost come out. with more than 700 cars, and graphics like nobody's business, this is a definite must have.

Halo 2

an obvious choice, im sure many reading this have already gone out and purchased it, and are currently using one hand to unhaltingly quench the addiction for alien-blasting.

Nintendo DS and sundry games

I especially look forward to the DS's multiplayer version of Mario 64, a great idea indeed to say the least

Guilty Gear Isuka

The most Innovative, not to mention best looking, two dimensional fighter returns with all new characters, plot twists, and a new gameplay mechanic (4 players at a time) which is sure to add a great and new dimension. not a must-have, but a solid, inventive, beautiful, well made game indeed.

Alien Hominid

A rare gem, this little side-scroller was designed by some peers of mine in the flash animating/programming genre. Made by Tom Fulp and Dan Paladin of Newgrounds, I look forwards extremely to gaging its success

Metroid Prime 2

sequel to the celebrated sequel to the celebrated sequel to the celebrated sequel to the celebrated sequel. hah.

GTA San Andreas

Not my favorite cup of tea, this game's technical acheivement alone however makes it an unavoidable mention.

Mario Power Tennis

Sequel to probably the best multiplayer mario game ever made. very good looking.

World of Warcraft

An interesting innovation I expect will draw in many blizzard fans. plus, i love MMORPG

Well, thats my list! what to the rest of you think? any additions? arguements? preferences? comment freely my good men and women.. comment freely.
