hi. i'm 22 now! i guess i was 15 when i made this entry. oh, how time flies. around the time i originally posted this i was into manga and j-pop, frequented anime conventions and bought a shitload of comic books.

now i work part-time and go to school (i'm a slacker so i'm only a junior) and spend most of my free time watching tv, writing, or playing ragnarok online.

i'm big on tv--i'll watch pretty much any show ever, as long as it sounds vaguely interesting. i'm not into those CSI-style procedurals, but i do like bones and the mentalist. i don't like ER, but i keep up with grey's anatomy and i reluctantly started watching house, after putting it off for five seasons. my favorite shows are probably dexter and mad men, but i watch everything from ugly betty to true blood, from 30 rock to gossip girl, from psych to top chef.

shows i won't touch with a ten-foot pole: american idol, dancing with the stars (although i do like so you think you can dance), any reality show that involves finding true love or trading spouses or other family members, and/or anything that airs on MTV.

so if television-related gibberish doesn't make you crazy, it's probably safe to add me. :D

tv-obsession aside, i like reading (neil gaiman and tad williams are my favorite authors), music (my favorite band is they might be giants, but that's in no way indicative of my musical taste--i'll listen to anything but country), and food (although the only thing i know how to make is cupcakes).

i also enjoy parentheses and exclamation points!

i do not enjoy capital letters.

i like dinosaurs and dinosaur nicknames (like sarasaurus and saradactyl) and dinosaur movies and any article of clothing that features dinosaurs.

there are a lot of other things i like, as well as a host of things i do not like...but that's for another time.
