Descripción
Interlinks Manager is an SEO WordPress plugin that gives you the ability to monitor and optimize your internal links.
This plugin first generates the internal links data using PHP regular expressions applied to your content and then analyzes the resulting data to provide valuable information.
Specifically, the plugin adds to WordPress the following features:
- Internal links analysis
- Link equity analysis
- An algorithm that evaluates the internal links optimization status
- HTTP status code analysis to detect internal links that lead to broken pages, redirects, and other problematic responses
Pro Version
A Pro Version is also available with additional features, including:
- An internal link suggestions feature to receive relevant suggestions and assist with your internal linking workflow.
- A system to automatically create internal links based on specified keywords.
- A report of all visits generated from clicks on internal links.
- The ability to import and export plugin data and settings to back up configurations or quickly set up the plugin on multiple websites.
Monitor your internal links
Keep track of all the internal links available in your articles with the Dashboard menu. Here you will find a list of your articles along with internal link data retrieved by the plugin, such as the current number of internal links, the recommended number of internal links, the inbound links received, and the optimization status.
The Filter & Sort section included in this menu will allow you to search through this data, filter them, or sort the data based on specific criteria. For example, you can use this section to find all the non-optimized articles and work on their optimization.
Calculate the link equity
Visit the Link Equity menu to receive an estimate of the link equity for all the URLs linked in your articles.
Use the information available in this menu to improve the distribution of link equity, empower your cornerstone articles, or improve the SEO performance of your product pages.
Optimize the number of internal links
Receive information about the optimization status of the internal links while you edit an article with the Internal Links Optimization panel.
This panel provides information on how to optimize the article’s internal links. For example, you will receive messages like «The number of internal links in this post is within the recommended range.» or «The number of internal links should be between 4 and 6», etc.
Find Broken Links and Redirects
Analyze the HTTP response of your internal links to detect issues affecting your site. Identify links that lead to unavailable pages, redirects, or other HTTP status issues.
Customize the plugin behavior
Configure the internal links optimization algorithm
Change the values of the Characters per Interlink and the Optimization Delta options to modify the results generated by the algorithm used to measure the optimization status of the articles.
Customize the algorithm used to calculate the link equity
Use the options in the Link Equity section of the plugin options to customize the calculation of the link equity.
For instance, you can set default Total Link Equity of all the pages, set a custom Position Penalty, aggregate the link equity of URLs with different anchors, aggregate the link equity of the URLs with parameters.
Configure the PHP memory, the maximum execution time, and the analyzed post types
If your website has many articles, you have options that control the technical aspects of the plugin’s analysis in the Analysis section.
For example, you can set a custom PHP memory size and increase the maximum execution time with the script used by the plugin, limit the number of analyzed articles, restrict the analysis to specific post types, and more.
These options help support larger websites, including those with 100k+ posts.
Enable the plugin editor panels only on specific post types
You can use the options in the Editor Panels to display or hide the Internal Links Settings and the Internal Links Optimization panels only with specific post types.
Assign a custom total link equity to specific posts
The plugin allows you to assign each article a parameter used to calculate the link equity named Total Link Equity.
Configure this constant with a realistic value to improve the accuracy of the link equity.

Does the plugin work with page builders?
-
The plugin works with the Gutenberg editor. However, it might not find all the internal links with page builders that don’t save the post HTML in the [prefix]_posts database table.
