HEY EVERYBODY.

Did a little not-quite-spring-cleaning, cut a couple people here and there. The cause was fandom-drifting, mostly, although I belatedly realize that like half my f-list isn't even into Super Junior anymore. Or ever. Or... aw, fuck, what am I on about.

I should probably post an entry about the last... month... but since this is going to have to be public, I shan't.

(sorry sorry, but I've wanted to use shan't all day. I don't update much, but I'm going to try to more often so I don't get so backlogged. But, hey, maybe you just don't want to talk to me or see me ever again? Do it now.
<strike>I'm really tempted to just wipe EVERYONE off and pull one of those "COMMENT IF YOU WANT TO STAY FRIENDS, but... I dunno, people are always on hiatus and shit. Basically, the goal of the contest is to make the ugliest icon you possibly can. One that would put ugly_icons to shame. Think of all the terrible, horrible, MS Paint or selective coloring-raped icons you've seen around LJ. Think of those horrific ones on ONTD.
(If you MUST have some examples, here's a few that were submitted to the ugly icontest: one, two & three. and those aren't even close to the worse)

So. Let's say I started a contest up. AN UGLY ICONTEST. One round only, just for the the lulz. Asian-centered, obvs., because that's how I roll. What do you think?

View Poll: UGLY ICONTEST

I'll tweak the rules/guidelines/etc. if enough people want to participate. And I mean, really, you all should - how hard is it to make a really ugly icon?

edit: FAIL GUYS. JUST. FAIL. it's not hard to make an ugly icon! you make it terrible for the lulz! kind of like, idk, those "tacky clothes!" spirit days we have it school sometimes where people wear plaid and polka dots and stripes and neon and it's like, wow, this is ugly... but it's for fun?

Leave it to Super Junior to make me feel infinite times better. (courtney, if you give me shit about "replacing my real world with the internet and pretty asian boys", i will punch you in the ovaries. D8 besides, you cried and practically orgasmed upon meeting the guitarist from Coheed, you can't say a thing :D)

<lj-embed id="25" />

1. oh god everyone looks so good, they've somehow managed to minimize the amount of Mob-With-Torches-&-Pitchforks-Coming-To-Kill-The-Stylists-Hair! (my friends have probably noticed by now, but i'm rather picky about idol hair. Particularly when it tends to be bad. which is often..)
2. I think ChangMinho is like, a legitimate pairing in fandom these days. despite having been made two days ago, there's already 95 members in changminho.. compared to 83 in blohyuk. SIGH. MY OTP, NO ONE APPRECIATES IT. But, anyway, ChangMinho... their love is so... tall. I have no idea what else to say? They just wander around and dwarf people, idk.
3. Oh my god, I think that's a pink Game Boy Advance. I HAVE THE SAME ONE. SUNGMIN, WE'RE GAMING TWINS. Someone needs to get him a pink DS.
4. JaeSu exercising via weight-lifting folding chairs in the background? Um? Hey, if it makes me as hot as them, I'll try anything.
5. Kyuhyun and Taemin/Key... on the coach. Hmm. I think I saw a similar scene in a book once, with the little kiddies all clambering to be next to the older guy while he's laying down. I believe said scene was in a loli hentai-porn. I see parallels, here..
6. KANGIN DOESN'T LOOK FAT! I am so excited. And he has hair! GOOD HAIR. OKAY, YOU CAN BE MY FAVORITE AGAIN. just don't fuck with it for another inch or so, baby, and it'll be PERFECT. and i can pretend it's 2007 and you're not off being heterosexual in movies and variety shows..
7. I am sexually attracted to Shiwon's shoulder. 8|
8. oh, the 'shroom. shindong, we KNOW you're sexy. like, i would definitely do you. but i might start laughing in the middle. because of the 'shroom.
9. blue slightly-KKK-looking raincoats? oh. okay. WAIT WHERE DID THEY GO. *~stage magic!~*. i will never tire of the weird stuff they pull out of nowhere. did they think they were being ~sneaky~? what other group resembles a chain gang in size and would wear blue plastic ponchos?
10. is hangeng wearing a shirt? looks like no. i'm pretty sure i saw nips. i guess he was tired of DBSK out-skanking him? the group as a whole seems to be wearing less in general. not that i'm complaining, of course. just an observation! however, while "U" is somewhat sexy, is it sexy enough to warrant shirtlessness? all this nakey time better mean they're going to get ~*hawt*~ stuff for the third album.

... aday communities are bad for my health. unknown OCD tendencies are springing from the depths of my being, causing me to go back through EVERY ENTRY EVER. i think my SJ pic folder swelled by, like, a GB..

Fanpictures of Kyuhyun playing clarinet HAVE MADE MY LIFE. END OF STORY. ♥ All I need is fanvideo/fanaudio and I can die happily. /band nerd, true & through.
Plus he can actually PLAY IT, unlike a certain drama-star who pretends to play saxophone and fails miserably. sorry kimbum baby, it wasn't even remotely realistic-looking. but hey, you're hot?

hey, it's a public entry! hello, strangers! these don't happen very often. my real entries are often loaded with my daily happenings, are somewhat less fandom-oriented, and have more personal [random] anecdotes. but I'm still cool? idk. just felt like talking about a video that inexplicably made my otherwise unhappy day much better.

    <lj:music>Arashi - Smile</lj:music>

Public entry is public for no particular reason!

Holy shit, Project Runway. Why did it take me five seasons to love this show. D: I've been marathoning the ones I missed while I was at camp, so I'm caught up now. Everyone's so funny - Blayne and his liciousness, Stella and her leathahhh, Suede talking in third person just enough to be annoying, uhhh and I want to give Leanne a hug. AND TIM GUNN. TIM GUNN. I LOVE HIM. We saw so many dresses in Georgetown that the designer clearly didn't "make it work".
Which, yeah. Courtney, Monisha, and I went into Georgetown on Sunday for shopping.. which was epi<strike>c</strike>k failure on my part because:
a. I have no money (Me: Oh, this is cute... *looks at price tag* Like fucking hell I'm paying $60 for a t-shirt...)
b. I don't fit into 90% of designer things (Me: Oh, this is cute... *tries on* *looks down* Fucking boobs...)
c. A lot of the designer things were either kind of plain or really ugly. (Me: Oh, this is- WHAT THE SHIT LMAO THAT'S SO UGLY AHAHA I DON'T UNDERSTAND HIGH FASHION)

WHERE MAH TWEETERS AT. Twitterers. Twitters. ... Er. I don't use it that often, mostly when I feel poetic or like a line of a song I'm listening to, but hopefully the people who DO use it will make interesting tweets that I can bounce off of?

Sorry for all the incoherency and failure comments I've been leaving around, I'm just wiped these days.. and it's only going to get worse once school actually starts, sob.

the kpop livejournal awards

I cheated and changed the link to the "Love Like Oxygen" OTP award - please vote for Bailey (loser_no_jutsu) and I? D: It'd mean a lot to me, even though it's just some dumb meaningless award.. ah, whatever. But seriously, can you think of two people in k-pop fandom that have long-distance buttsex as often and as passionately as we do? >8|

I feel like, being as this is a public entry, I should say some fandom things. Now, With Moar YouTube Links!!1:
✼ OH MY GOD YASUTAKA NAKATA REMIX ON CLAZZIQUAI'S NEW ALBUM. FLAILSANDDIES.
For the uninformed, Nakata is most famous for being half of the electronic duo Capsule, and on his record label "contemode", he also produces the girl group Perfume, the singer MEG, and has done a ton of remixes for people like m-flo, Leah Dizon, Ami Suzuki, and some other people I'm forgetting. He's like... idk, pretty much my electro-techno god? (Him and Daisuke Asakura ♥) SO I WAS PRETTY DAMN THRILLED. Also, impossible dream: DJ Clazzi x Nakata x Tukutz collab, plz. Epik High has worked with Clazziquai too, it could happen..?
The DAISHI DANCE remix of Fiesta sounds... wow, a lot like Haru Haru, what with the piano. I wonder why? 8| I do love Clazziquai, and I know Alex is/was working on his solo career, but really. Some new material would be nice.

✼ Love Like Oxygen is catchy and I am dying, okay. I DON'T REALLY WANT TO LIKE THESE KIDS, BUT I DO. Because, clearly, I need YET ANOTHER boyband to fangirl over.. Minho is suddenly attractive (giant adorable eyes of flaming charisma?) and Jonghyun has really fucking big gaping black hole nostrils. Kind of like me. \o/ Taemin's voice sounds like someone else's.. kind of Henry, a little bit? His smile kind of freaks me out, though.. Key is really really ridiculously good-looking and probably very ~fierce~, Onyu has Shiwon-sized eyebrows that he should put to good use, and I like rainbow backgrounds. I also like run-on sentences. All boybands should strive to incorporate a rainbow somewhere in their MVs.

✼ New F.T. Island MV has me confused. Hongki's a boy? WORLD IS TURNED UPSIDE DOWN. I miss his beautiful-long-flowing-locks-of-Herbal-Essence-conditioner-commercial-hair. D: And then EVERYONE ELSE switched their hair around (Wonbin has light brown, Minhwan has black, Jonghoon's is huge and looks like the singer from Daphne Loves Derby) so THIS IS NOT REALLY A GOOD TIME TO BECOME A NEW F.T FAN, IF YOU'RE TRYING TO TELL THE BOYS APART. Good thing I've been with 'em since debut.
I do enjoy the song ("After love", I'm not bothering with the hangul) though - very much "Lovesick" version 2.0. String intro? Check. Lyrics about x~heart-break~x and x~betrayal~x? Check. Wonbin emo rap? Check. The rest of the album's not bad, of course - I like Troublemaker, Train, the FT vs. PRI song, and 사랑하지마요 (saranghajimayo, which I think translates to "stop loving"?) the best as far as the ballads go. HK's voice still kind of makes me cream myself, like, a lot. Omnomnom.

✼ FHSKFHJSFKHS; TABLOOOOOOOO. I. god worship. Tablo. GENIUS: YOU'RE DOING IT RIGHT. Except when, uh. He's doing it wrong. But, seriously. Good song, pe2ny's awesome, just... aaah. ♥ (side note: my birthday is in two months. write me BloHyuk.)

This is suprisingly brief. Normally my entries are like, ten paragraphs long.. and then my flist is all tl;dr'd, so. :,D

Don't expect to hear... pretty much anything from me. So, if you have any complaints ("You owe me ___, and you're really late, wtf?!" is a pretty common one), feel free to direct them here in an angry and hateful comment that I won't see for almost two weeks. :D Have a nice, vanillacat-free day!

Also, quick question: generally, how many employees are behind the counter on an average shift at your average Starbucks? I've seen anywhere from 2 to 5? Is 5 normal? Can there be more, if it's say, a really busy metropolitan Starbucks? This isn't a totally random question, I swear.. it has bearing on strange ideas that may involve large Korean boybands and coffee. Which is, you know, totally not random. Totally.

Also also, if anyone gets wind of any official cams, fancams, even a tracklist of that FT Island concert in Japan where they did covers of ELLEGARDEN songs? Yeah, PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF YOUR HIGHER BEING OF CHOICE (OR LACK THEREOF), TELL ME ABOUT IT. I'M FUCKING BEGGING YOU. Because I may be able to access my mail (and thus LJ comments) through my phone. \o/

p.s. happy 22-minutes-late birthday, sam. ♥ see, you even got mentioned on a public entry. if that's not love, then i don't know what love is, honey.

EDIT: NEW MOODTHEME BY pakpak. <lj:music>Epik High - The Future (feat. Yankie)</lj:music>

This entry is full of fandom links. And doesn't ever talk about IRL shit, so thus - is public! Haaaaaaay, random stalkers.

I think I just read an article in a fashion magazine about how to make this hairstyle - but it was directed at... uh, girls. Oh well, keep rocking the chick hairstyles, Hongki. At least you're not A TRAP like 'Chul. 8D; (I refuse to acknowledge that Hobo!Facial-Hair!Heechul is not a product of some sort of alternate universe. One where Shindong is stick skinny and Kibum is useful for something besides looking good and Shiwon isn't a molestor, and this 'Chul just happened to wander into our reality. By now, I'm assuming Actual!Female,-y'know-with-a-Pussy!Heechul found this imposter and threw a bitchfit, so Hobochul must be back in his own alternative universe, and thus all is right in the world. This is trufax and I'm stickin' to it.)

HOLY SHIT SE7EN. w-why has it taken me so long to find/listen to this, SHIT SON LISTEN TO 2:40 OR SO ON. i always kind of thought he was a sort-of Bi-esque talent (i.e. only good at dancing - you have to admit, bi's voice leaves a little to be desired) but uhhh APPARENTLY NOT. APPARENTLY YG DOES IT BETTER.
JYP sure is sexy/questionably homosexual though. IT'S A MANRY LOVE.

Shit, ONE OK ROCK is amazing live as well; I'd even venture to say Et Cetera is BETTER live. I was listening to audio rips of their concert DVD, and I had this very surreal moment where the beginning lines of 夜にしか咲かない満月 (Yoru ni shika sakanai mangetsu) sounded like "Monster" by ELLEGARDEN and I had this YAYOMGCOVERWHEEEEE moment, but then... it wasn't, lol. I'm still hoping FT Island will cover "Make A Wish" - after all, Hongki sung it before and after farting (go to about 4:40, lol.)

Listened to Remapping the Human Soul on repeat in preparation for Pieces Part 1 ktjhldkjhldkhldj; next time I have moar moneys I'm totally going to go back and buy the album. (Maybe since Pieces came out it'll go down in price...?) BUT that would means postponing my epi<strike>k</strike>c quest of collecting the ELLEGARDEN discography. D: Dilemma. I feel like I owe it to the 'Blo, though - he's busted his ass on this album and he's so worth supporting. ♥

THE ALBUM SO FAR IS... hm. I'm... gasp, a little disappointed. My expectations were sky-high for this album though, and don't get me wrong - there are quite a few gems.
Be is very dream-like, which I believe was the theme of this album, but it could easily have been a filler track, and they could have scrapped one of the weird filler tracks like Seoul 1:13 AM or Icarus Walks later in the album, idek. A nice opening, I suppose.
The original mix of Breakdown is pretty damn fine. (see below about the Supreme mix of Breakdown, though.)
Predictably, I ADORE One. ♥ (My favorite part is the "TIME IS TICKIN' T-T-TIME TIME IS TICKIN' TICKIN" because it's almost cheerleader-chant like and IDEK VERY CATCHY. Also, the remix is hot, hot sex.)
연필깎이 (Yeonpilkkakki?) sounds like an updated version of their 2nd~album or so sound; simple, straight-up rap with a nostalgic feel to it ("Remember the first time you touched the mic...") and I'm rather fond of it too.
I don't really like Girl all that much, to be honest - R&B's not all that much my thing. They could have done so much more with it, I just felt.
The Future's got a wicked arrangement; I think Tukutz had a lot of involvement with this one?
Ignition's decent as well, I can't place my finger on what seperates this one from being just a "good" track opposed to a "fantastic" one. The lyrics are good, though. Actually, you know what this song needs? JW from Nell. :*
Eight by Eight is probably every khip-hop enthusiast's wet dream, but it was just there for me. Not only do I not know these other artists, I honestly don't care. 8D; Plus, it had a lot of the cocky (see below).
Decalcomanie is a good track, all things considered. I like the piano. But... hm. I don't know. I like it a lot better when it picks up energy 3 minutes in, and it'd probably be a lot more interesting if the entire song was like that.
낙화 (落花) (Nakhwa) will probably grow on me a lot, particularly since I know the lyrics are about him having a dream. Once someone rolls out those lyrics translations I'll be a happy camper. :D I don't know quite I think of 우산 (Uesan? The person I downloaded it off of said 'Useon', but that's definitely a "sAn" at the end..) yet, except I love Younha, so I feel slightly obligated to love it. It's very low-key and chill, and again I find myself wishing for something a little more up-beat or interestingly arranged.
Epik's got a knack for memorable and well, epic, finishing tracks (see: Public Execution) and 당신의 조각들 (Dangshinui Jogakdeul) is quite as such. Epik High and Jisun are apparently BFFLs, also, as she's participated on two of the better tracks... and a lot of their hits earlier.. hm. "You know I do, I do love you..." So, A+ on this song.

The issue I'd like to address is - since when was Tablo so fucking cocky? He's like "Yeah, I'm better than you, I'm the real shit, you're just a poser, fuck yeah" and I just kind of went "...", particularly in the 'Supreme mix' of Breakdown, and to some extent in Eight by Eight. I just miss the... political commentary, which is what I loved about Remap. He put things so succinctly in Remap... Maybe all the political commentary is in Korean this time around so I missed it? Idek. The entire album was much more self-centered, if that makes sense. I left American hip-hop music because I was TIRED of the cocky, I don't need Tablo getting all high on himself just because he happens to be the shit. Just because you can rhyme a few times about how awesome you are doesn't make you smart or aware - and I know he's incredibly intelligent and very sensitive to world issues. So what happened? (Not to mention, if he's the REAL SHIT, what does that make MC Sniper and Outsider, etc.? Realer shit?)

There were just so many instant hit album tracks on Remap - "Hon", "Mr. Doctor" "Flow" "희생양" (hui saeng yeong? totally don't know how to read that first character... shaddap.)... and I'm not sure whether the instant hits are on this one. I'm assuming they'll use One and Breakdown as the "singles", which of course elicits no complaints, but can they compare to Love Love Love and Fan? I'm not sure. It also has a full 9 (10 if you count the Fly remix, 12 if you don't count the remixes of One and Breakdown) less tracks than Remap, and still has 4 "filler" tracks, so the whole album feels shorter, and less packed with the intense productivity/love of Epik. Also, no Alex or JW from Nell collaboration? D: And no solo songs? NO MORE 'LESSONS'? Is genius still not the answer to all questions, but the question to all answers? It just feels a little detached from previous albums.

On that thread of thought, Epik's also known for messing around with their style (listen to the 1st album, then come back and listen to the 4th or 5th, and go holy shit with me) so, while this really doesn't come as a suprise, they've moved away from the traditional hip-hop sound and into more electronic and club music. I guess this is where the future of hip-hop is going, as I've noticed more and more artists writing songs in that vein. I'm not sure what I think of it - especially since whenever they weren't rolling out some thick, thick electronic sounds, they had a bunch of downbeat songs, leading me to wish for more upbeat ones.

I'd rate it better than most everything else that's come out so far this year, I'm trying to decide whether NELL's was better or not. AND I MEAN, THIS IS STILL A REALLY REALLY GOOD ALBUM. Fantastic. I'm just overly critical of what I love. 8D and it's just incredibly difficult to go up against Remap, which is one of my favorite albums EVER, which also won Best Album last year. How do you follow up something like that? The CD's already growing on me with repeat listens, and I threw a little fit this morning when my iPod refused to sync with my computer because I wanted to listen to One on repeat like ten thousand times. D: I'll probably end up buying this anyway, because... because. In hopes that the CD booklet will be as bloody awesome as the one for Remap? (The subtitle for Mithra's solo song on Remap was [ do not drink the kool-aid ]. C'MON, I DARE YOU TO THINK OF A BETTER SUBTITLE.)

From dissuade: "Here's the gig. Go to musicoutfitters. Type the year of your high school graduation into the search function. Retrieve the Top 100 songs from that year. Strike through the songs you hate(d). Underline the songs you like(d). Bold the songs you love(d). Leave blank those you don't care about or don't remember. Annotate at will." I actually went through and youtube'd the ones I didn't remember, because... I can? :O (God, I hate to slog through so much CRAP...) So if I left it blank, that really means I'm neutral. Also, I didn't feel like doing "high school graduation year" or whatevers, so I just did 2006, even though that's not actually my graduation year. It was a good year, though? ;*

1. Bad Day, Daniel Powter
2. Temperature, Sean Paul
<strike>3.
I am A++ at over analyzing things. True?

DUDE I TOTALLY HAD A REASON FOR THIS ENTRY.

Oh, right. Minor Little Friends Cut. Nothing personal at all - I just knew you a long, long time ago, we've since grown apart, and I find myself skipping over your entries. Really. You're probably just someone I knew from back on Gaia, which is great and all, but I quite simply don't Gaia anymore.* My apologies, really. D:

*If there's someone I know who still does, do ya want any of my crap? I've got a ton of stuff worth a lot - winged anklets, mp3 player, other rare janx since I played waaay back in 2005. Up for grabs, mates.

Seriously, though. NOTHING PERSONAL. I don't not like any of you, and I'm hoping none of you don't not like me. (double negatives are fun!)

Prz to be not angry? D:

    <lj:music>Koyote - Carol Medley</lj:music>

Just out of curiosity, what's everyone's favorite holiday song?

You know what I mean, songs like;

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,
Frosty The Snowman,
Silent Night,
White Christmas,
Jingle Bells,
Oh Little Town of Bethlehem,
Silent Night, Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree,
Joy to the World,
The Christmas Song,
Santa Claus is Coming To Town,
Sleigh Ride,
Last Christmas,
First Noel,
Jingle Bell Rock,
Away in A Manager,
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,
Little Drummer Boy,
The Channukah Song,
All I Want For Christmas Is You,
Feliz Navidad,
We Wish You a Merry Christmas,
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,

... etc. Is it scary that I can list off that many? I ♥ holiday music; this really is my favorite time of year.

My personal favorite is Happy Christmas (War Is Over), yes, by John Lennon and Yoko Ono. The lyrics are poignant and I think they get a bigger point across than the standard "happy winter love joy" that most songs get across.

But what I'm wondering - what's your favorite? It could be a non-English language song if that's what's your favorite, I'm quite obviously not a hater. 8D

<lj:music>All Time Low - This Is How We Do</lj:music>

Okay, you guys. This is important.

Today was/is a really, really bad day. It is now almost 1 a.m. and I have done virtually none of my homework. Why?

Fandom. Fandom has distracted me, being quite easily distractable, to the point where I get. No. Work. Done.

This has been going on for some time, and I've just been struggling through - not sleeping much, getting some poor grades, but rolling with the addiction.

I am addicted to fandom. This can't go on any longer.

I know I can't quit cold turkey - but I'm going to try, this week. A fast, if you will. I NEED to get my life back on track, or else this year is going to whoop my ass. And what of next year? 3+ APs on my current level of time spent on fandom / time spent on school? Yeah, RIGHT. I will end up at a community college at that rate, fabulous. Not to offend any community college attenders, but I have higher aspirations.

Please don't defriend me, internet friends, I'll probably be back often - to catch up on what I missed - but like I said, I need this week to be ON TRACK. I'll still be on AIM, since it's fandom I'm addicted to, not IM-ing friends. (I've, in fact, been neglecting my friends horribly for a while.. that's part of the reason) and you can, of course, always e-mail me. I know these days, e-mail is soooo slow in comparison to instant messaging, but I'll probably talk to you through there. In fact, I'll probably be desperate for contact, so indeed, please e-mail me.

It's mostly just Livejournal, and what have you - and this thing that I do that can be easily summarized to be "idol worship". In another one of my fits of oddly-concentrated-but-not-on-homework-ADD, I spent a couple hours going through an image gallery - productive use of my time n/n? It's just.. not.. normal.

Look forward to this weekend - I'll be back on Sunday~Monday or so, since it's a four day weekend, I'm in Charlottesville at least on Friday~Saturday.

Just keep e-mailing me, I love mail, 'kay?

I’M STILL MOSTLY FRIENDS-ONLY BUT UM. Just in case I get internet famous or something. 8D

By the way, normal people (who possibly know me IRL) who have found my LJ: I’m perfectly normal, I swear. I’m just… really bored. D: Almost bored enough to start looking through my AP World textbook… HAHAHAHA NOT QUITE THAT BORED. 8D

So, basically, like 99% of this entry is just me fangirling. Loudly. You've been warned.

Asian men legs don't make sense. Let's take Example A: a certain Kim Ki Bum, member of a certain mostly talentless but still somehow very very endearing boy band Super Junior. (If you didn't already know, I've been MASS FANGIRLING them for some time now, so if you didn't already know this, you kinda suck. :D)

So, children - why does the hairiness of his legs start at about his shins? Why is his knee and higher PERFECTLY SHINY? Did the Photoshoppers who make the finished product of these photoshoots go a little blur-blend crazy and remembered OH SHIT HE'S A DUDE HIS LEGS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE A LITTLE HAIRY halfway through their blurhappy moment? Does he... shave half his legs? CONUNDRUM.

Heechul's legs are somehow paler then mine. 8D YOU GOT BEAT BY WHITEY WHO ALWAYS WEARS JEANS.

Speaking of which, You know my jeans with the giiiiaant hole in the knee? That I cut one day during play practice last year and thus are full of holes and paint? 8D
Well, I drew hearts and dots on my knee in purple sharpie and my band teacher, who was staring at my knee for a good five minutes during class on one of the last few days of school, thought I had some sort of leprosy growing there. Leprosy in purple sharpie on my knee. Oh dear.

I like dance music! Too bad I can't dance. I'VE BEEN CREDITED BY KANGIN.

suju_rating. I mod it. DO IT.

I had an icon overhaul! :D Only my favorites were kept, now I’ve got in all *NEW AND SHINY* (sparklesparkle) icons, all made by me. BUT NOW I NEED TO ADD IN THE ONE THAT WON suju_icontest because, HOLY CRAP I WON SOMETHING ASOGFHOSFMH; I NEVER WIN ANYTHING
ROFL My mom called Eunhyuk ugly. XD;

Her: " He's funny-looking. "
Me: " YOU'RE funny looking. >| "

(later, since I was humming Haengbok obnoxiously loud, and she thought I was humming a Christmas Carol that sounds incredibly vaguely like Haengbok. You know, that Excelius Dayo [wtf i can't spell in latin] one?)

Her: "You're sure that's not a christmas carol?"
Me: "Nope, has absolutely nothing to do with it, and you'd probably laugh at me if I showed you what it does have to do with.. ohhhh my life is soooo saaadd my mom laughs at meeeeeeee"
Her: "... Does it have to do with that funny-looking guy?"
Me: "Welll... yes... he's in a boyband, you see..."
Her: "But he's weird-looking!"
Me: "YOU'RE weird-looking!"
Her: "I guess he's just not... classically handsome, eh?"
Me: "... Something like that."
Her: "I see, I see... *not very convinced*"
Me: "He's in the boyband because he dances good, OKAY?"
Her: "Alright, alright already, no need to get so defensive.."
Me: "(; __ ;)"

So! Fandom janx since I have nothing better to do this summer:

I really wanna watch Hana Kimi, subbed of course – I mean, hello, Shirota in a major MAJOR drama? Major lulz! Plus, dude, he’s friends with YamaPi and Jin. I’m surprised he’s not more popular than he is. :B
Plus, then Mr. Nose’ll get all popular and stuff, which I’m not sure is a good thing or not..
I guess, hopefully, some of that popularity’ll transfer over to D-BOYS and we’ll hopefully not get any dumbass fans and hopefully lots more D-BOYS stuff will be scanned in and shared throughout the intarwebz to increase the rabu.
But, Dear Holy High Papa, if you love me, no more oily penis-line spandex photoshoots, prs. We really didn’t need to know Mr. Nose was… somewhat well-endowed.

My attempts to infect Jena/Toast with my “lifestyle” haven’t been working. She only lul’d at this crazy clip ‘cause it’s fucking insane (Drugs are a crazy thing, guys!), she doesn’t like Rokkuguh, she was thoroughly disinterested in my thoughts on Donghae looking like a mop..
(Her: *looks up* Hum, he looks like he’s wearing a wig. *goes back to manju*)
… So we mostly just sat around, eating said manju and watching anime. Lucky Star and Gintama and Kino… YOU SEE, I NEED MORE TO DO THIS SUMMER. D: We’re making those Elizabeth-San dolls and THERE’S NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO STOP MEH.

… I wonder how much caffiene’s in a Coke Zero? :DDDDD

While I love the new DBSK song (man, they’re CRANKING THEM OUT, NIPPONEEZU STYLE)...
… my god Min, what did they do to your hair? D,: Dreadlock ponytails ain’t cool, yo.
And man, did I nosebleed at all that water dripped down JJ’s gorgeous throat. Um.
HOW DARE THEY GET IN A BREAKDANCE BATTLE WITH A BUNCH OF BLACK GUYS THEY’RE GOING TO LOSE. And while wearing white suits, too!
I like how they all copy Junsu’s retarded spazz moves. 8D

On a somewhat related note, the SMTOWN SUMMER ’07 is made of win. Not only is my favorite fatty (lol I looked up his weight, according to the official website, he weighs 90kg. XD; Roughly 190? 200? pounds. Compare that to Kibum's fifty something kg... WHY MUST HE BE SO SKINNY. CRY. I HATE YOU ASIAN BONE MASS.) ShinDong all featured like on a BoA song, the SuJu song is made of win, the SMTown is wonderfully… I don’t know how to explain, “Do the Twist”-ish? What genre of music is that, anyways? Although damn, no TRAX song. D: I guess Jay is still suffering from that vocal chord business <strike>that they did back in what, February? D:</strike> so thus the rest of TRAX is MIA?

Re-watching SuJu Full House. The sheer... dumbassery of about a half of the group (mostly KangIn. D,: I love him to death, but damn, what a dumbass. ♥ His "interaction with English people", omemguh. DUMBASS. He tells the poor male bystander that he's "not easy". AND THAT COW COSTUME ADGHADHJ; WHY DO THEY HAVE A COW COSTUME LYING ABOUT THEIR APARTMENT.) is so incredibly, incredibly entertaining. And Heechul's sudden "IF I PRETEND I'M A RAPPER, I'LL BE MORE ENGLISH-ISH" and calling the girl a poodle and being his usual flamboyant bitchy-ness, WITH SPONGEBOB SOCKS.

"I, Kim Heechul, was born to successfully make women fall in love with me. It's not my fault, it's not of my own free will, my mother and father created this face!"

... I am bigi'd by his yoina. Holy crap, Atobe moment. He makes the PERFECT queen, damn bitchy Cinderella.

poor, poor Chinaman. I want to give him a hug. Many hugs. Squish him and feed him some fried chicken or something dumb like that. 'Cause I mean, damn, ballet and martial arts and adorable and squishy and...

("Miracle" is playing)
Kibum: "Oh, I like that song."
Donghae: "Oh, you like? Song? You know whose song?"
Kibum: "What singer?"
Donghae: "Super Junior!"
Kibum: "Oh, Super Junior?
Donghae: "Yeah!"
Kibum: "I hate them."
Donghae: "W-What are you talking about man?"
Kibum: "They're ugly."

... Of course you're long, Eunhyuk. Very, very long. No wonder all the other members seem to like hanging on you so much. >D

... I wanna end up on one of these shows. D,:
First: learn Korean.
Second: BECOME HOTS. Or at least, skinnier.
Third: ... uhm. idk.

The reason why you're shy is because of my blue eyes? Oh, Mickey. ;O FOR THE RECORD, BALL DOES NOT RHYME WITH COOL. NOR WILL IT EVER. THUS, COOL CANNOT BE PRONOUNCED "KALL".
We teach good English in Northern Virginia! I promise! Don't get the wrong impression, international community of DBSK fans!

So. POST THAT ACTUALLY HAS TO DO WITH REAL LIFE COMING SOON! \:D/ Sorry to disappoint, non-fandom-y friends.

It's a PUBLIC POST! Everyone gasp! I tried to tone down the fangirling, but trust me - one of these days, I'm going to explode all over everyone and all of the world will know how much of a loser I am. :D

I said, goddammit, one of these days I'll make a voice post. When something important happens, or when something incredibly emotastic happens so that I can cry to you over a voice post. Or something.
... Personally, I think my writing is more, um, poignant. XD; My actual voice is too... whine-y. Agreed? Y/N?

Whoo! Organized my G: drive! *nerd*
Here's how it stands: (Keep in mind, my G: drive is pretty much solely for videos and other crap that doesn't fit on my C: drive)
Actual Tenimyus & Backstages: 11.8 GB (missing Rikkaimyu stuff 'cause I haven't moved it in yet)
Actual PoT anime: 4.36 GB (+ 4 other episodes still in le BitTorrent; dub, btw, because I'm a masochist.)
Anime & VG crap: 9.04 GB (used to have a ton more, burned it all off due to mostly lost interest.. ^^;)
H!P: 11.4 GB (Ribon no Kishi musical and ~Odore! Morning Curry~ concert combined are 4GB, which might have something to do with it..)
Manga: (dear lord, when was the last time I looked in THIS folder? o__o) 8.76 GB
Music (as in, all the crap music/soundtracks that don't fit on my C: drive): 4.16 GB
Myu-related crap: 8.05 GB (Keep in mind, that back sometime ago I accidentally perma-deleted this entire folder, so there was a LOT that was lost and hasn't been redownloaded. Probably 10 GB worth.)
OHEMGEETENIMYU&OTHER (my giant picspam folder): 2.43 GB (whaaat is this? Only 2.43? XD)
PV/MVs: 6.43 GB
Random stuff~ ladeedaaa: 18.9 GB (everything else that doesn't fall into one of the above categories; including shitloads of SuJu. And, yes, that's actually the name of my folder. XD; ladeedaaa~)
Knowing there's still SOME SPACE left on your external hard drive: priceless.

We got a Wind Day on Monday! Yes, we had an early dismissal from school. Because of wind. 50~60 mph winds, granted, but.. wind day? That sounds so pussy. XD; I suppose it's because we have so many trailers/modulars/"learning cottages" that are, you know, not really stable. I'm not complaining, though. ^^ ♥ Rawrbitchwhine though, it knocked out my internet for all of the day.

Jesus Christ, there was a sniper today at Virginia Tech, 32 causalities. The news kept calling it "reminiscent of Columbine" and that scares me greatly. Something like Columbine was never supposed to happen again, ever. And at that, Columbine was only 12? casualties, marking this Virginia Tech mass shooting the deadliest in U.S. history. At least it didn't happen at George Mason, THAT would have been scary. (Once again, written on Monday, btw. If I haven't already said, my LJ entries usually take a week or so of writing..)
... The world is just too, too sad..

However! My mini-little bitch rant. Most - yes, like 80% - of my 3,000+ people school was effectively mobilized. Everyone wore marroon and orange, and we had a great big ol' memorial service. Why? Over the death of 32 individuals. Yes, only 32. Now, let's think about this - how many people have died in Iraq? Some number in the thousands - perhaps 3,000+. So, essentially, enough people to fill our school have been killed in Iraq over the past 4 years. Do THEY get a great big ol' memorial service? No. Do the huge genocides happening in other parts of the world get a great big ol' memorial service? No. I suppose it's because we live in VA - and a great number of kids from our area end up at VTech. In fact, two or three of the victims, AND the killer, went graduated from a high school very close to here. But, you know... My earlier point still stands that, while this is an extremely sad event, it seems almost like the media has blown this incident up, while downsized other incidents with higher death tolls. :/ And to me, that just doesn't seem right.

My life is so incredibly trivial. Something needs to happen to me, something important. All these events are just swirling around over my head and not really having much of an effect on me, while my existence is just so... banal? Unexciting? No one's going to want to write a memoir about my life. In fact, my memoir would have to be 75% fictional to be even vaguely interesting.

To add to the trivial-ness: askjadg; crush roar I hate having stupid moments like this. Crushs are so... middle school.

I WANT A KAWAII NOT SHIRT. See how cute they are?
My favorite: :DDD

Holiday spectacular was spectacular. Okay, not really, but whatever. We'll pretend I'm an amazing clarinetist. XD; Instead I spend most of the time goofing around with Lance or Eric/Gay Jesus or Actual Little Jesus or whoever I feel like messing around with at the time.

(I know most of the people who read this won't know who the hell those people are, buuuut it's not important, I suppose.)

So, anyways. Disney World. Tomorrow. Reaaaaaaally early tomorrow. I have to get up at something like 3:30. Which is only about a half hour - hour off from when I went to bed last night. :D

I always get a kick out of freakin' people out like that, as I said earlier.
Person 1: Man, I'm so tired.
Me: Oh, yeah, me too. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Person 1: O__o?
Me: I went to bed at 3!
Person 1: :O That's insane!
Me: Hah, that's only a couple hours later then when I normally go to bed.
Person 1: :OOOO

:D It's because World History is a biiiitch. And I'm going to have to take AP World next year and it's not going to be fun.

Well, don't expect to hear anything from me until Thursday. It warms my soul.

So. I think I'll be joining Indoor Drumline (according to our school's Wikipedia page, our arguably most successful activity... how sad is that?), but I'm having to compete with two upperclassmen for the Auxiliary spot (basically, the one who hits random stuff) since I have no percussion talent. So, now I have a pair of lent drumsticks and a sick fuck determination to make the cut.

I have a Nagabuchi song! :D I found it the other day... although, I can't really hear the "unique singing voice" that everyone talks about (and Date imitates. XD;) so it's pretty much just a good song.

MUCC = love, the more I listen to them. They recently did a cover album, and they make the songs like, 05248509823^324827486x better, then the original. They totally rocked up these oldie, like 60's-sounding songs (sung by old ladies, no less!) into great pieces of catchy, rocktastic music. I'm so glad I got to see them live. (Thanks again, Liz. ♥ Now I just have to remember to sign up for AUSA. ^^;)

Ha, reading about Gackt's MARS album:
"MARS is the title of Japanese rocker/singer Gackt's first album. It was released in 2000. The album featured three singles; "Mirror", "OASIS" and the instant classic "Vanilla", popularized heavily in North America by a clip of live footage circulated on various P2P networks containing Gackt mounting his guitarist on stage."

Oh, Gackt. We ♥ you, and your... Masa-humping. ^^;^2.

NEW ICON(s) YEY. It's Araki... again? I don't even like him that much! Maybe if he stopped making such weird poses... then I would be less inspired. >>; And the KajiZukkii icon I've been using on GTalk for the past ever is now up, too. I made a Kyoya icon but, meh, his episode was the best part of Ouran.

I've released that my LJ is mostly music babble. Shut up. And prime example is below...

OMG OMG OMG.
... OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG.
Either. 1. The Japanese Music Industry is going down the drain, so when the fangirls buy in droves, it skyrockets... (Highly possible.)
OR:
2. TENIMYU IS TAKING OVER THE WORLD. FAST AND FURIOUSLY.
There's no other way to explain it! Why else would Kimeru have gotten such a high spot on the singles list? AND HOW, HOLY FUCK HOW, DID THIS HAPPEN?

This is just KAZUKI we're talking about. Okay, so he was in Tenimyu. Okay, so he's done a little tiny bit of anime voice work. Okay, so he's on a show with popular KenKen, and has done Kamen Rider Kabuto. Okay, so he's in a lot of male model magazines and was a Junon Superboy. But, you know, where does all this equal ORICON SUCCESS?! The most NOTEABLE is definitely Tenimyu. In fact, according to his profile page on Oricon, they only really mention the Junon, the Kamen Rider, and the Tenimyu. But... #16!

So, if Kazuki = Tenimyu, and Kazuki = Oricon, thus Tenimyu = Oricon!? TRANSITIVE PROPERTY APPLIED TO REAL LIFE!? :OOOO

*foamy* I practically fell out of my chair. This just shows that I love Tenimyu too much, and the rest of the Japanese population is agreeing with me (Sort of.)

It's my birthday in 5 minutes. ... well, I don't technically turn 15 until something like 3:30, so foo.

I love how I only got two comments on the last entry... thanks, guys. Well, I understand that this is the "week of hell". (This is why I didn't want to go to TJ, sillies.) so I guess it's somewhat understandable... just, ah, don't ditch LJ?

MY. GOD. ELLEGARDEN I LOVE YOU. ELLEGARDEN >>>>> YOU. OMGSERIOUSLY. ]

Ah, love. I was re-watching Hyoteimyu winter, and I love it~ I get so wrapped up in the plot, I'm like "YOU CAN DO IT, TAKA!" and what not. And holy carp, the AtoTez duet is PRETTY. It shouldn't be, being as they're basically singing acapella to their own songs paced differently, but it IS. The joys of two men who can sing. ^^ Although towards the end, first curtain call before Crystal and On My Way, WTF? MomoAto? o__o That's a new one for the books. Funny, though. I was looking back through something, where I had written opinions of the Tenimyu boys and whatnot, and they've kind of done a 180 from before. I'm much, MUCH more of an Ruirui and Zukki fangirl now; back then I made fun of them a little bit. ^^; And I like Saitoh more; mostly because I knew like nothing about him at the time

Ha... My brother found the PoT live-action bromide... he was like "Isn't Prince of Tennis animated?" since he's seen me fangirl about it via Toonami Jetstream. (Even though the dub sucks liekwoah.) I used the analogy of Batman: "it used to be a comic, but then they turned into a movie with real actors! :D"
Him: "They all have weird hair..." HA YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE MUSICALS THE HAIR WAS EVEN WORSE.

It was cold yesterday. Marching is no fun in the rain. x__x I've learned lots of nifty marching-tricks that I may have to show ya'll sometime. For I am Teh Ghetto Fab Fairy of Marching Lav.

Whee~ Old Navy. For some reason or another, some people don't like Old Navy. How could you not? The jeans are comfy and the shirts are pretty, and it's CHEAP. CHEAP I SAY. W3ily thought my shirt was from Forever21 when it was just from Old Navy. XD See? Expensive brands are lame! REBEL.

Wow, my fanfiction of sixth grade was complete and total crap. Seriously. Wow... wow. Ha, look, that unfinished MomoRyo I had started writing after demanding a challenge... Doppleganger, eh...

OTAKON OTAKON OTAKON! THE DECIDEDLY LATE REPORT BUT, COUGH, THAT'S OKAY.

Let's see~ Now, all this is much easier to relate in person, sadly, because random anecdotes will come up de temps en temps (from time to time, en Francais.) when just randomly conversating about schtuff.
I'll try though. ^^;
I hope Liz posted something... two people's memories are better than one. ^^;

Well, first I left at 7 in the morning, arriving in Baltimore around 8:10. We go into the hotel, the Radiss0n, and unload mah crapzorz. In my humble opinion, the room kind of sucked; it had a huuuge king bed, and a little cot on the side, presumably for me. Besides that, it wasn't very big at all. It was the only room they could get though, so I can't complain, plus it really was pretty damn close to the convention center. Wish it was just a little closer, but what can you do? We could walk there easily, but her relatives were kind of OCD about us walking to the hotel from a variety of places. We're always like, completely safe. But, that's alright. Half of the time were completely exhausted and could hardly make the walk, which make the walk much longer.
So, uhm, we put on our costumes. Liz is going as Oshitari today, for some reason rejecting the Atobe wig. Apparently it hadn't been styled? I donned my bright magenta bowl cut wig, cut magnificently (ha.) by me and Jena the day prior. We walk downstairs to get breakfast, and people STARE. Bright magenta stands out more than you would think, I suppose. It was... embarrassing. I made a song to help me! It's to the tune of "Joy To The World"~
"Joy to the world, my dignity's dead! We barbecued his head! What happened to the body? We flushed it down the potty! And round and round it goes, and round and round it goes, and ROOUNNDD and ROUNNDDD and ROUUNNDD it goes!"
... Yes. After being forced to drink milk by Liz's aunt (which I downed using a similar method used to down Inui Juice.), we departed. In the crowded elevator, we saw an Ohtori! We high-fived and 'twas the shiz, yo. Walking there was equally... de-priding, but I saw a lot of cool costumes, many of which stood out more than mine, so it was less of a big deal. Sort of. Anyways, we enter.

Shortly, and I mean shortly, Liz says something and we're suddenly attacked by some girls I recognize from school. Sevvies, the lot of them, but apparently friends with Liz from Concert Orchestra or what not. I think one's name was Y3na? Who knows, I wasn't really paying attention. They're the kind of annoying, crazed Inuyasha fans that I tend to dislike, but whatever. We hung with them for a bit, taking a lot of pictures and people taking pictures of us.
We wandered into the giant line for the Dealer's Room (where they sell stuff.) and waited around for awhile, gawking at people's costumes and Liz & friend-whose-name-I-forgot fangirling about KH, which they did a lot throughout the course of the time we were with them. S'all good though. They bought a stuffed Paopu fruit - like a beanie baby, except... more... star-shaped and bigger. Yes. SO! We wandered around and saw lots of good things - like Domo sweatshirts, booths with J-rock goodies, hundreds of plushies, hundreds of model kits, shirts, Morning Musume figurines (they scared the crap out of me, if I do say so myself.), CDs, shirts, more plushies, bromides, magazines, artbooks, almost anything you can imagine that has to do with that sort of convention. I bought Jena her Spiral artbook, and a pretty poster-type thing of Le Gackt for Steph. Since I'm an painfully nice person like that... Painful on my wallet. Alas.

And we took pictures! Plenty of pictures, indeed. Cosplayers were everywhere! Once I get my damn disposable camera developed, I'll post up pictures.
I saw everything; from Bleach to Ouran to Katamari Damacy to Final Fantasy to Kingdom Hearts to Street Fighter to Mario to fellow PoTers to Animal Crossing to Sonic to 3nin Matsuri (basically, part of Morning Musume. >>; They're in the Miko Miko Nurse video on AlbinoBlackSheep, which was hilarious. It's making FUN of Japan, not like... Japan-based, unlike most of the things I watch.)
Even to THIS REALLY PRETTY LOLITA GUY. It reminded me so much of Princess Princess... since he was, like, naturally pretty; he didn't have a buttload of make-up on. I hope my camera worked well enough because I immediately ran up and was like " * o * Can I have a picture of you...? " Hehehe...
Basically, like, everything. Name a series and there was probably a cosplayer. If that series was Kingdom Hearts, there was like... probably over a hundred. XDDD;; Same with Final Fantasy. The Katamari Damacy ones were the most amusing by far, though, because what a costume... it was amazing. @@;; Amazingly warm, probably, especially walking around outside since it was a kabillion degrees outside.

After walking around for a very, VERY, long time, we crashed elsewhere and soon were whisked off to lunch with Liz's family. Yes, the whole family. They showed up. >>;; On the way there... this guy got hit by a car since he was running across the street. It was really scary, but he was a very big guy, and he could get up and walk after getting hit, so I'm sure he was okay besides getting bruised.
We went to this restaurant, Moe's... or something? The menu wasn't very big, but it was a seafood place so of course the non-seafood selection wasn't big. Since I don't particularly care for seafood, I ordered some sort of pasta. There was kind of a lot of flies, which was weird because there was no windows open and the place was really clean besides that. I would have just ignored it, but Liz's family... NO OFFENSE OF COURSE. But they can do as they please; they can ask to be moved or whatever. So we did. And... yeah.

We went back to the room for something or other, and set off to the CONCERT OF LOVE. It was at a place called the Ram's Head live club, or something along those lines. It was a long way from our hotel, probably a mile or something, and we made the mistake of walking. So we were really late and stared at a lot since all the Yankees fans were exiting from the baseball game. (They were playing the Orioles.). But there was this really cool-looking Gothic pair walking a little bit ahead of us, so I guess we looked less weird to the normal masses in comparison. xD;;
So, THE CONCERT WAS AWESOME. OMGWTFSRSLY. I don't think Liz liked it too much, sadly, it was kind of loud... turns out concert music is much louder than recorded, especially in the case of MUCC. Anyway, we got there and the bouncer people were like "You guys are under 21, RIGHT? HOW OLD ARE YOUU?" Do we even LOOK like we're 21? DUH. Like we'd go up to a bar and be like "I wanna Coors Light, please!"... No bartender in their right, sober mind would give Liz and I alcohol. Neither of us look anywhere close. AHEM. There was also a bag check, in which the bouncer people took my tennis racket. >>;;; They're like "Uh... this could be a weapon... And we don't wanna get in trouble with our manager..." but then they ended up giving it back like, five minutes into the concert. Guess the manager gave the ten-four that it was alright.
We were in after Nana Kitade finished her... first song, I think. Kesenai Tsumi, of course. It was pretty; her voice isn't OMG live like, say, Utada Hikaru's, but it was still really cool. She was dressed up in cute lolita-ness and sprouted random Engrish like "I am ah Jahpuneese Purincessu!~" and "Do you laaavv mee?~ I laavv youu!" and she played guitar and it was pretty darn cool. Her music is kind of rock-pop, so the crowd didn't really know if they were supposed to headbang, or sway, or what. Most people in the front, near the stage (where we were not) just kind of bounced.
Oh, and by the way: The Powerpuff Girls seems to still be going strong in Japan, unlike here. They've sprouted their own, even more anime version (yes, it IS possible for the PPG to be MORE anime-ish.) One of Nana's song was the theme song for the series, or something along those lines.
Yar, yar, her portion of the concert was actually pretty short. Good for me, bad for the Nana fans. Oh well. She even played some guitar, although it kind of got tangled in her really really long Lolita hair...
A bit later, MUCC CAME OUT! Uwaahh~ *fangirlisms here* I just became a fan really recently, after I learned they were going to Otakon, actually... but I recognized quite a few of the songs off their two albums that I have. I was singing along to Saishuu Ressha, which is working its way to one of my favorite songs evar. (By the way, I'm working on infecting Jena with it. Maybe later I'll put up a download with it, so I can infect everyone else.) The lighting was really cool, kind of spastic, and the atmosphere was cool and well, club-ish. All this cigarette smoke swirling around the lights... :D
And everyone looked really cool! MUCC used to be really "visual", so to speak (even though they're actually defined as angura-kei, not visual-kei.) but now not so much. However, the bassist still has his cute <s>Hiyoshi mushroom</s> bowl cut, and the vocalist guy (whose name I can't remember. ; o ; Shame on me.) sounded really genuinely good live; unlike with Nana where the vocals sound significantly better recorded. He spazzed around stage a bit, and the crowd got worked up and head-banging and waving their arms around with the rock sign! It was really, really, cool, and my first ROCK concert! Unfortunately I was in the situation of being in the front of the back, so if I did anything drastic it would a) block the people behind me's view, b) embarrass Liz. XD;; So I kind of settled for this... sort of... head bobbing thing. It was loud, I'll admit, and plus... their most recent album (6) is a lot harder then my favorite, the album before that (Houyoku, which Liz bought for me. <333) so the vocalist would do the screamy throat thing that I don't really like, that Dir En Grey's also been doing a lot recently.
He also spouted more random Engrish, like "Lesss gett faacckkiinnn curraazzzyy!" (Let's get fucking crazy; the first time he said it, I actually thought he said "funky crazy". XD;;) and "Heaaeet eehh uppp! Heaaeet eehh uppp!" (Heat it up!^2) and other such "Arrr youu haavviinngu fahhnn?" "Awwruuight!"
The guitarist and drummer were really good - you could tell that the energy of the crowd was fueling them as they moved and thrashed around stage. ^^ Unfortunately, being in the back, the people around me weren't so enthusiastic. ><;;; I wish we had been on the balcony, the fangirls looked to be having genuine fun up thar. Ah well... I got a cool poster with my CD that's hanging right by my computer desk. :D

We left and came back to the hotel room, this time via Liz's car, thank goodness. Aaaand, it was off to the Masquerade! The masquerade is kind of like a competition for short performances; skits and the like. It was in the 1st Mariner Arena, which is HUGE! Uhm, we got there, and I saw another Gakuto (^^;; SHE went to the PoT gathering. *sigh*) and there was a video going on about X-Japan. And then... they sent out Yoshiki for like five seconds after the video was done~! XD Whooo. The crowd (probably like a thousand people now) screamed and fangirled and I screamed DAAIIIISUUKKKIIII! Because I'm cool like that. He's like "Aww, I don't know what to say, but thank you, I love you guys~". His English is really good. o__o Probably because he's been living in San Fran. for some time now or something. Then he wandered off and the skits started. ^^ A bunch of them were kind of, well, crappy; I couldn't figure out a plot to like, five of them, and a couple were just plain humorless and stupid. There was also a couple musical acts; i.e. people play instruments, but... I could tell, a lot of them were really nervous. ^^;; It's hard to play in front of probably a thousand people.. Unfortunately, everyone was being kind of rude and talking during them, and during this one slow part where this guy was really messing up, they did the cellphone-glowstick-lighter thing. XDDDD;; It was funny, but rude. Sigh... However, this aside, a lot of them were really really good and funny! There was one about Kentucky Fried Chocobos, one in which Carmen Sandiego stole the Tokyo Tower, that guy from Hellsing was accused and sentenced to TEN HOURS OF WATCHING THE DIC SAILOR MOON DUB. AHAHAHAHA I LAUGHED SO HARD. Uhm... let's see, a Teen Girl Squad parody starring Sailor Moon as Cheerleader... she got shot. >D And you know how one of them gets run over by a bus in one of them? (It's been forever since I watch TGS, forgive me.) SHE GOT ROLLED OVER BY A KATAMARI DAMACY AHAHAHA. Let's see, and one with Naruto and 4KIDS, which was hilarious as well, even though I don't know/care crap about Naruto.
4KIDS: "Why hello GAALLAAA. And look, it's Sah..sahhsu...uh, TREVOR!"
Oh man. XD I think he got run over by a Katamari too... XDDDD;;
Uhm, let's see, there was some pretty cool ones with Matsuken Samba (!!) and Riku and Sora dancing to "Baby Got Back", and one that had them twirling flags around like Color Guard... OH AND OF COURSE THERE WAS A BLEACHMYU SKIT! I totally was dancing along in the audience to Ore Sayonara. <333 Liz tried to stop me, but I AM TEH GHETTO FAB FAIRY OF *PNISH* & TUTI LAV. Basically, a lot of them were really really good. :D It was very very cool. Meccha meccha kakkoi, ne? We didn't stick around to see who won, though, since it was getting late.
We did, however, get ice cream with her family. o__o By this point we were exhausted, and Haagen-Daz (spelling?) ice cream is expensive, so I felt bad. We wandered home to the hotel after getting lost again, and I promptly fell asleep, exhausted, on my little cot thing, happily listening to MUCC.

Next morningu! Everyone was still kind of tired, I took a shower, and Liz wore her Roxas stuff. We wandered downstairs to a late breakfast, five minutes before the "breakfast hour" ended, of old melon and milk. Screw you, rich hotel. Anyways, we walked over and such, deciding to first go to the Art Alley. Liz goes on a buying spree; her wallet > much. She bought... tons. Yes. Cute adorable extremely pretty things. I bought an Eiji pin; it was a little pin and it had a chibi Eiji on it and he had a little bubble with heart toothpaste. <3 It was really cool, and the people were really nice about the whole buisness. On our way out, we suddenly get approached by these women, apparently from the Leisure & Travel magazine? They asked to take pictures of us and whatnot, and kind of a short interview was held. Very very odd and random. I don't think we gave them their names, which is good, since I don't really want the whole world knowing that I went to Otakon, yanno?
We wandered back into the Dealer's Room and bought more things; I bought a Miyavi mirorr thing of love. And then, we wandered about and found the booth that had had cool stuff yesterday, since I still had some money to burn. AND HOLYOMGWTF, THEY HAD A PRINCE OF TENNIS LIVE-ACTION MOVIE BROMIDE. COMPLETE WITH ALL THE TENIMYU-ERS (minus Yanagi) AND OHWOW I FANGIRLED LOUDLY. There was also some stickers that I foolishly didn't buy. And then and then I found a MomoRyo(ish) bromide~! :D And bought that too. Liz bought some stuff for people that was cheap, and didn't fangirl. Woe was me, for I do love PoT ever so much. Uh... after that, we went off and found Liz's random friends again at the "Manga Library", which sucked liekwoah. So, after all that, we decided to leave, since there wasn't much else to do, ne? Oh, but on our way out, there was a large Kingdom Hearts gathering... and there was macking. Oh yes, mucho macking. There was a huge crowd, the fangirls went off, and everyone was taking pictures. A security guard actually ended up coming and breaking it up. Not coo, yo.
So, we drove home, doodled, and I ended up at Liz's house for a couple hours beating Xemnas in his ugly zebra-print coat and we watched the very slashy ending. The end. :D

And that pretty much sums it up. Pictures coming soon!

D:

NEW ELLEGARDEN SINGLE ON AUGUST 9TH.

"Following a brief break due to vocalist Takeshi Hosomi's throat problems, the band has announced several appearances at summer music festivals in Japan and is presently in the studio working on their fifth full album."
Maxi single - "Salamander" - August 9, 2006

*fanspasm* OMGOMGOMGOMG. I was wondering why they hadn't released a single since December... 2 weeks. The day before <s>hell</s> marching band camp starts.

HOLY MOTHER OF-
IT'S GACKT! :D And not just ANY Gackt... this is VANILLA GACKT. :O

Watch it. Then You tube "Gackt Live U+K" and watch him dance with kitties~

Oh! Right! I have to write down my incredible dream of last last night before I forget it. It's incredibly weird, and serves to tell me that I've been on Tenimyu crack for a little too long.

Okay, so I seem to be at some sort of festival, like the ones they have at school, and I think the one I was at was heavily influenced by the one in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I seem to be on the tennis team, and I'm trying to find the courts, because I guess on the festival day we, um, show off our awesome tennis team skills? I finally find the court, but then I can't find my racket. For some reason, Mr. Rake shows up now and is like "Oh, is this your racket?" and he gives it to me, but it's broken, like the entire head fell off from the handle. I'm like "NOOOO." and yeah.
So, a while later, I'm talking to Eiji (yes, that Eiji. Kikumaru.) who's just there in my weird dream-world, and then Aiba (yes, that Aiba.) pops up as Fuji. They're like yay, yadda, and we're talking in English, and then I think we leave. Then, for some reason, I guess while I was looking for my racket, I found Aiba's diary and read it, and I'm like "Wow, I have Aiba's diary." For some reason again, everything was written in English, and it was pretty boring for a diary. The next day, I'm waiting on my driveway, because I think in the dream, since we go to the same school (I guess that means my school = Seigaku) we carpool on the way to school, so I'm waiting for Eiji. Then, um, he doesn't show up, but Aiba does, and something resembling a mom is driving the car, instead of Aiba. Strange, yes. I give him his diary back, after he does one of his Aiba-Fuji-things that was incredibly scary (Fuji is incredibly scary, after all.), attempt to say thank you to his mom, but she doesn't understand English. For some reason, Aiba does understand and we go off to school, and he's complaining about his big brother Fuji who's mean to him, which definitely doesn't make sense because he's Fuji. I guess he became Yuuta-that-still-looked-like-tenimyu-Fuji in my dream. But KENN is Yuuta...

... And then my mom woke me up. I was kind of like "WTF, why the heck was Aiba in my dream." I'm not even a fangirl of his. However, it was one of the most enjoyable dreams I've had in awhile (one of the only dreams in awhile I've been able to remember) so I tried to make it last longer but dreams don't work that way.

Wow, I sound nerdy. IT'S NOT MY FAULT MY DREAMS HAVE BEEN INVADED BY POT. ; o ;

Re-watching DL3 for the billionth time. I have to say, it certainly makes one emotional. You want to cry along with them during Crystal... and during the graduation, I actually SQUEAKED OUT LOUD when Zukki started like, sobbing. He certainly is LOUD, though. *was watching video greeting to his blog* I think when they were casting, they went "OMG! He's loud like Tuti! He obviously would make a great Oishi. :D"

New icons! And once again, this serves to tell me I've been on Tenimyu crack for a little too long; 4/6 have to do with Tenimyu, 5/6 have to do with PoT. The remaining 1/6th is Miyavi~ I have another new one of Miyavi that I kind of like, but but I don't want to delete any of my icons. ; o ;

I think I'm drowning in the fandom. o___o Aww, crap, I have to go do that Waiting For Odysseus reading crap. Don't wanna... and if I don't finish the notes on the GINORMOUS Edith Hamilton's Mythology, I can't go to Otakon... whichremindsmeIneedtobuythatdagGakutowig... *whine*

EDIT:

Caitlin: TOWEL HEAD = PWN.
Caitlin: you know what's funnny?
there are like a thousand ouran fans
who are also tenipuri/myu fans
Jujy: I know
XD
All due to towel head
and us kids having good tasts
tastes
:D
Caitlin: hahahaha XD well then that wouldn't make sense
because then wouldn't all the kingdom hearts fans
become tenimyu fans?
Jujy: ........
Caitlin: because of towel head?
Jujy: They will
>:D
Well in japan
XD
Caitlin: XDDDD;; just give it time~
Jujy: ...
