The Challenge

A historic construction leader with over 70 years of experience in Southeast Europe was acquired by Intrakat, evolving into a dynamic, multi-sector corporate group. The acquisition marked the formation of AKTOR Group of Companies, with a renewed strategic focus and expanded market footprint.With a €2 billion investment plan aiming for €1.4 billion turnover and €184 million EBITDA by 2025, a diversified portfolio spanning construction, renewable energy, real estate & more, and 8,800 employees, the company needed to develop a strategic rebranding that would capture AKTOR Group of Companies’ transformation.

The Solution

We approached the rebranding as a transformation journey. We conducted thorough research into the company’s heritage and competitive landscape, then designed multiple creative directions rooted in the group’s vision. We developed a comprehensive visual identity, centered around the open circle concept symbolizing continuous growth, outward orientation, and new beginnings. The launch campaign was developed around the core message: AKTOR Group of Companies – The Power of Evolution. Finally, we designed a high-impact launch event to unveil the new brand and strategic direction to key audiences.

The Outcome

This developed new brand identity reflects AKTOR’s evolution into a multi-sector corporate group, defining a cohesive brand architecture to align all business activities under a unified corporate structure, and creating a master narrative that communicates the group’s new vision, values, and growth potential internally and externally. Additionally, the company managed to align internally, among leadership and employees, reinforce trust among investors, partners, and clients, and successfully launch the new brand and narrative through a high-impact activation campaign and event.
