# UltraViolet

What is Ultraviolet?

UltraViolet, a primitive built on top of Infrared, the leading BGT derivative protocol on Berachain, aims to provide a suite of new instruments that stems from the monetary premium between $BGT and $BERA enabling users to earn from the yield coming through Proof of Liquidity mechanics via a variety of instruments known as Ultraviolet assets initially through $uvPREM, a bribe-backed floating asset, while directing monetary emissions to $uvBERA, a value-pegged $BERA stablecoin.
