VR LT-Series™

The Van Remmen VR LT series, or the Low Transmittance series disinfects liquids with an extremely low transmittance.

A purple electronic device with a small digital display and buttons, connected to a metal rod with a sensor at the end. Designed for measurement or detection, it serves as an integral part of chemical-free water treatment systems like UV Guard Water Disinfection.

Product Information

By combining high UV-intensity with a thin layer of water, these systems can treat water with a UV Transmittance (UVT - T10) between 1% and 10%. This series is used in the food and beverage industry for disinfection of fish oil, milk, soy milk, almond milk, cold pressed juices, alcoholic beverages and more. The VR LT-Series is also affective in the pharmaceutical industry for ingredient disinfection or direct product treatment.

Due to the speciality of applications the VR LT-Series is used in, UV-Guard highly recommends UV Transmission testing. This can be done by contacting your local water quality lab facility or sending the sample directly to UV-Guard’s laboratory for testing.
