Your Spot for International Soccer This Summer

Calling all Loons fans, international soccer fans, anyone who’s ever even seen a soccer ball! It’s the summer of soccer in North America, with the FIFA World Cup 2026™ taking the global soccer sphere to our shores starting in June. We’re bringing all the excitement directly to you with Minnesota United Soccer Celebration, an epic fan experience in downtown Minneapolis spanning Peavey Plaza and Nicollet Mall, right next to Brit’s Pub between S 11th and S 12th Street! We'll have matches on the big screen, guest appearances, delicious food and beverage, a live DJ, and a whole lot more.

It’s the biggest tournament in global soccer, and we’re hosting the coolest Soccer Celebration around.

Soccer Celebration is FREE, but you do need to claim tickets through SeatGeek for each date you plan to attend. Please note that there is a maximum capacity for this space, and entry will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Having a ticket does not guarantee you admission into Soccer Celebration if the space is at capacity.

We recommend arriving early to avoid long lines and snag a good spot, particularly for some of the more popular dates.

What to Expect

What makes this Soccer Celebration so special? We’re so glad you asked. We’ll have a live DJ between games to get you hyped up with all your favorite songs, a range of soccer skills contests, and enter-to-win sweepstakes with prizes ranging from signed MNUFC merch to a grand ticket prize. Our partners at Jack Link’s, Arby’s, Target, Pella, and more will activate throughout the event with fun activities and giveaways. We’ll even have live podcast recordings and player appearances scattered throughout the month. Our merch truck will be on-site for all your Black and Blue swag needs, along with a giant screen to watch all the action play out.

Minnesota United is proud to be working with Centro Tyrone Guzman as the official nonprofit and community partner for Soccer Celebration. For more than 50 years, Centro Tyrone Guzman has served as a trusted cultural home and community anchor for Minnesota’s Latine community. Based in Minneapolis, Centro brings children, youth, families, and elders together through an intergenerational model rooted in education, wellness, cultural connection, and belonging.
