I'm technically, but not quite, 40% through the worst week in my uni life so far. Since I'm probably gonna stay up until 2+ again tonight.

I need to find out if I've printed tmr's law lecture notes argh. If only bizad club can print lecture notes for us and place them ourside the LT before lecture haha, but high cost + too much effort I guess. Fully supporting a coffee cart outside LT idea, even though I'll end up overdosing on coffee every single day :(

Actually I think the weeks will only get worse from now onwards. This weekend will be dedicated to rushing my politics scrapbook due Mon, next few weeks for allllll the projects I'm probably lagging way behind in.

But I MUST find time (after this horrifying week) to catch up with people I haven't been talking to :) Its a promise!

Sorry Ame for not being able to go back with you today :( I have no time to visit my teaching internship mentor too thanks to my awesome timetable.

I wanted to go back to RJ today to just see the school and soak in that familiar atmosphere again. (*Thinks blissfully of times when I didn't have to crawl up 4 flights of stairs every day.* Why must biz school be situated on a hill -.-) Having a homeroom, having lockers. Getting to see the same familiar people around always. My current class is pretty awesome, but I guess we haven't been through enough together yet.

Sigh I'm in a total state of depression about uni :(

In RG, I thought I could die from all the PTs. In RJ, I look at the stacks of prelim papers and the ultimate goal of A's and I realise how good the RG days were. (And how I didn't make good use of the proximity to Orchard to frolick around more. HAHA kidding.) Now in uni, I think JC life is SO DAMN SLACK.

Maybe its cos I have completely no background to all the mods that I'm taking, so if I don't finish the readings/ tutorials, I'll be 100% lost in lectures and tutorials. Like, "What in the WORLD is going on?!" when people around you are effortlessly blurting out facts after facts, ideas after ideas.

So overwhelmed, so inadequate :(

TGIF is SO inappropriate for this sem. Its the last day of the week, I'm completely drained and suffering from severe lack of sleep from doing readings/ tutorials late into the night, and I'm going to be in school for lessons from 8am to 6pm with less than 3 hours of break. With my to-die-for SEA politics lecture at 4-6pm.

One of the questions from our Lipton survey that we had to do for management was "What is your least favourite word?", and we are supposed to pen down the first word that comes to our mind. Some say "Huh?" (true enough xD), Bao says Monday HAHA.

I think mine is F-R-I-D-A-Y.

I've finally groped my way out of the second week of school half alive. Technically not yet since there's still a makeup lecture tomorrow for the missed lesson on National Day, but yeah.

Understatement of the week: School is horrifying.

Having nice classmates is probably the only saving grace. (There aren't even any eyecandies around, save for Fel Chin though who shares 2 lectures with me HAHA.)

Today during our break from 10-1 Ryan drove a few of us out to Chinatown to get KOI :D Be jealous. But you know he was actually completely unaware of its existence and was all flabbergasted when the girls were gushing over what he thought was fishes. Can you believe there was almost no queue!! Then due to miscommunications we didn't order for Bao so he stole much of my caramel milk tea and left me with all the pearls T____T Roar.

Someone entertain me please, my 2 lectures tomorrow are at 8-10am and 4-6pm respectively. Kudos to my awesome timetable and my extremely brilliant selection of the SEA politics module which is actually of year2 difficulty level.

Didn't go to school today cos I had no lectures, but I was drowning in my readings :(

My new nail colours! Still can't find the exact shade of pink that I want, I realised this is actually a tad too bright in real life.

Kwonnie's single which he composed himself, was released! ^^

Those not watching We Got Married, you are missing out a lot in your life. So I'm here to help :D Some background of the song!

He originally composed it with the intention of it being a couple duet with Ga-in.

The first few notes were born at around 3:50, and the rest with keyboard accompaniment from 5:30 onwards. Its hilarious hahaha. Now keep the melody in mind!

Afterwards, they took the recording and approached a professional composer with hopes of it becoming their duet song. But it was cruelly rejected xD And the couple ended up with the song We Fell In Love instead, where they only participated in writing the lyrics describing their love story thus far. The song totally took Korea by storm HAHA people loved it. With minimum promotion, no proper MV, and not even a decent album cover (they produced it cheaply using a polaroid they took!), it came up as the top number #16 song in Korea for the first half of 2010!

However, Kwon, being (the very determined, sweet, talented, etc.) Kwon, didn't forget about his wish to compose a song personally for his wife. He has been writing the song every now and then, and approached a professional staff in his company to even help him do a recording of it. Revelation of the day: its 1st July tomorrow.

How on earth did 3 months of being tortured by students + 3 months of luxurious idling away hurtle past like that?! School's gonna start again in a few weeks, and an understatement would be that I'm totally not looking forward to it. I'm just born to be.. more domestically oriented. In the taitai way, not the housewife way though ^^

Current earworm!

Hyuna was a former member (rapper) of Wondergirls which not a lot of people know cos she left due to health problems before Nobody was out (i.e. during the Irony/ Tell Me/ So Hot days). She's in 4minute now (they actually have really nice songs, I'll share some next time!) and Change is her solo debut song. The pelvic thrust dance created quite an uproar in Korea hahaha. I really like her power on stage, reminds me of a mini BoA+Hyori. And she's pretty! That always helps :D Oh did I mention she's only 18?

HDB scholarship offer came in a very warped way and completely messed up my plans when I thought I had foreseen every route possible. Headache :(

On Sat itself, all versions of his albums are sold out at all the CDRamas at CCK, Bukit Batok, Jurong East and Clementi. That's a mega superstar for you.

For further evidence of his awesomeness, I just watched videos of him at the autograph session (which I didn't hear cos I was queueing..) and he said he'll sign everything no matter how many albums you bought/ which album it is, even the Hi My Sweetheart DVDs.

Goodness, which superstar is as nice as him to his fans <3 Makes all our love for him totally, totally worth it :)

羅志祥《羅生門》簽唱會 23/05 <3

I'm still freaking happy which explains the unearthly hour of this post.

Even though I didn't get to watch him sing 爱疯头 cos the queue was all the way at the 4th Level (the stage is at level 3 Garden Plaza IMM),
even though I didn't eat anything from 4pm to 11pm (and I immediately felt totally energetic when I managed to see him),
even though I queued for nearly 5 hours from 6 to 1045,
even though I didn't manage to take proper shots cos my hands were so shaky and my flash didn't work well -.-,
even though I only managed to shyly croak out a JIAYOU<3 on stage (and he looked at me and smiledddd ^^) cos I was too damn exhilarated just to see him,
IT WAS ALL WORTH IT MAN :)

He's worth me doing anything for him <3

Do you know that feeling, seeing your dream guy come alive in front of your eyes *_*

He's damn perfect and flawless even up close, and he has the true strut of a superstar (which I saw cos he kinda had to go to the restroom after the first 4 hours of nonstop signing) sigh :)

2AM was selected as the Asian representative for FIFA song!

2AM is the only Asian pop act who was invited to join the official album for 2010 FIFA World Cup: ‘Listen Up’. Popular singers like R. Kelly and Shakira will participate in this album as well. The Korean boys are singing ‘No. 1’.

Hee they are just awesome like that :D

The song is super happy and catchy! Koreans are like really high about World Cup, nearly every single pop act are releasing/ participating in motivational songs and stuff.

As of today, I'm officially over and done with all my scholarship interviews! Currently undecided on where I'm going to end up (NUS/ UK), but its pretty much a 50-50 for now. Shall do some cost-benefit analysis over the next few days until the NUS deadline. Why can't they extend it like UCAS >:(

Some essential points to be addressed/ updates about my life:

2) Kwonnie is my fav Korean boy :D (if you haven't already inferred from my MSN nick/ LJ userpic) 2AM daebak <3 (and yes I'm picking up some Korean here and there) Their songs are seriously awesome and contrary to popular belief about pop idol groups, these boys honestly can sing. And damn well at that. Oh and Brown Eyed Girls too! Thanks to We Got Married where Kwon and Ga-in are a make-believe couple that is dangerously adorable and real.

4) Yes I'm enjoying life at home doing absolutely nothing. Pure bliss :) Going off for 1 month holiday sometime in June/ July after I settle my uni stuffz. Which explains why I'm not performing for RACO yup. HAVE FUN FRIENDS. Gonna turn up with photoshopped flowers, buying real ones for everyone will rob me of whatever I got slogging away during my internship.

Had my last lesson with my sec3 class today, cos the NIE trainee who is following my mentor as well has to take over from tomorrow onwards in order to fulfill her requirements. After the previous lesson my mentor confirmed that I'll be having my assessment today and he laughingly said, "so you'll be performing again!"; today I told my supervisor that this would be my last lesson and she exclaimed that its like my swan song. So interesting how they both of them refer to it in such theatrical terms haha. After my lesson the interns went to find our supervisor, and she said we all improved :) and that she'll give us our comments tomorrow.

Anyway, my kids were a bit dead during the lesson cos it was so hot, but they laughed at me (again) for greeting them good morning instead of good afternoon (it was 1225) haha they always laugh at me for that :/ Overall, they were quite responsive as usual and managed to stay fairly quiet and attentive most of the time. They seemed like they understood everything from the mini quiz thing that I gave them at the end, so yay! :) :) I realised for both the mock assessment and today's real assessment they actually like clapped a bit at the end, super cute hahaha. I told them its my last time teaching them (but I'll still be at the back of the class for one more week doing observation) and they were all like AWWWWW. When I actually kind of expected cheers (that I'm finally not screwing up their lessons/ making them sleep anymore), so it really made me feel all warm inside :)

I gave my number to a boy who wants to take private tuition with me after I finish the internship, and I sincerely hope he doesn't publicise it to the class or anything along that line. Although I'm kind of considering giving them my fb email in my farewell note so that we can keep in touch or sth, hmm still considering.

DAWNNN (I think you've just finished Alice in Wonderland at the time I'm typing this haha) I thought we said we are going to watch it on our last day D: Yingqi and I were discussing about our plans just now haha, she didn't want to go home so she waited with me until 7 then we went off together! So its just neoprints now? HAHAHA.

Can't believe there's only about one week left, today we were talking about the classes that we'll miss. I want to go back to one of my sec2 relief classes again next week (hope they assign that class to me) just to say bye I guess. They are pretty familiar with me cos I relieved them for quite a number of times, and even though the boys tend to be noisy and keep disturbing me haha but they are quite sweet kids. One of the girls is in band and she waved super happily to me when she saw me in the room after their prac ended :)

THIS IS SO LONG I didn't realise I have so much to say about my students! I need to catch up on writing my weekly reflections though haha the irony.

I don't really want to say this, but here it is.

TOMORROW IS DOOMZ DAY.
