How do I join the waiting list?

It's free to join the waiting list, by creating an on WeShop, there's no subscription, no hidden fees.

Install the WeShop app on your mobile device, read more information on our supported devices.
Open the WeShop app to get started.
Tap the 'Create account' button.
Follow the on-screen instructions to create your account, you'll need to provide genuine information through each of the steps.

Got an invite link?

If you've been invited by a friend to join WeShop or one of your favourite content creators has posted on their Instagram, simply tap their invite link & you'll be automatically taken to download the app.
If you're using an iOS device, you may be asked to 'allow paste', you must do this to make sure their referral username is added to the system (if you don't do this, they won't earn their Shareback referral reward).

Can I refer my friends while I'm on the waiting list?

You can invite your friends to WeShop using your unique link & you'll automatically receive WePoints when they're off the waiting list and making purchases with WeShop. We want you to help grow your community & make WeShop better for everyone.

Invite friends with your unique link

Tap the "Refer & Earn" button on your WeShop app, once you've joined the waiting list.
Tap the 'Share link' button to see your frequent contacts & apps to share the link to.
Once they've clicked your link & signed up, your unique referral code will be automatically linked to their new account & you'll earn Shareback whenever they spend.

Just want the link?

Tap the 'Copy' button next to your unique referral link (e.g. "app.we.shop/843f")
You can now paste the link into a message on any platform you like, such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, emails, etc.

Invite friends with your QR code

Tap the QR code icon to open your unique QR code.
Anyone who scans your QR code using their device camera will be taken to download the app & your unique referral code will be linked to their new account, you'll earn Shareback whenever they spend. You can customise the background colour of your QR code by tapping anywhere on the screen.

How does Shareback technology work?

Shareback technology is backed by a globally recognised marketing technology known as affiliate marketing. The affiliate marketing systems have been used by companies who want to connect their brand with customers for over 20 years.

When you click on any links in the WeShop app that take you to a retailer website, the link includes unique, anonymised information about your account that enables the retailer to tell us when you've made a purchase.

It's important to remember that WeShop doesn't get access to any financial or personal information about your purchase.

When you complete your purchase on the retailer's website, you're buying the same product, at the same price, at the retailer you already use.

Is WeShop free to use?

WeShop is entirely free to join, with no hidden fees or subscription required to access the service. Simply do your shopping as normal at your favourite stores online, and you'll earn Shareback on your purchases.

Choose an appropriate username

Your username is publicly available and can only be set once. No two people can have the same username on WeShop.

Character limits

Usernames must be at least 2 characters in length, use lowercase letters a-z and numbers. We recommend keeping usernames reasonably concise for ease of use and recognition.

Inappropriate terms

You cannot choose a username with profanity or hidden profanity (e.g. sh1t), brand/retailer names or celebrities. Our validation checks will prevent registering inappropriate usernames.

Personal information

Feel free to creatively reference names or initials but refrain from usernames that visibly contain confidential personal details i.e. emails, home addresses, phone numbers, or financial details that could increase vulnerability if displayed.

Want to change your username?

Unique usernames are important to help us verify the accounts on our platform. Once created, usernames cannot be changed. Please choose your username carefully during sign-up, as changes are unfortunately not possible.
