Well, I am still posting some of the Blue Things' old pictures. In this picture, we see the Blue Things checking the mail.

Of course Blue Kitty is simply happy to have received something (it is kind of vacant sometimes), but Blue Thing sees the bills inside and is concerned because he knows that their account is dangerously low (they spent most of their savings on the cameras and then Blue Kitty had to go sign up for Netflix to watch old PBS Nova specials and Ingmar Bergman films).

Well, the blue things really did a good job of hiding the photos from me. I only just got a hold of their album (Blue Thing was asleep and Blue Kitty is always kinda spacey). I found this adorable picture and just had to post it.

Here, the Blue Things were checking to see if the blueberries were ripe (they weren't). Of course it's winter now, but looking at the Blue Things play in the summertime makes me happy. If I can find out where their stash of money is, I'll get some more film and get some more candid shots. Until then, their little summer day pictures will be uploaded whenever I think of it.

Flower Therapy

Well, today the Blue Things came up to me with this cute little picture (I honestly have no idea where they got the money to develop these pictures - neither one of them seems to have a job...) At any rate, I thought it was pretty cute, so I'll share it with everyone.

Apparently, they are partial to white flowers, and blue thing seems to be more interested than nervous. Perhaps this whole photojournal experience will be cathartic for him. They have hid the envelope of pictures from me, so I'll have to wait till tomorrow to post more.

Cute Obsessions

I think that since I don't want to have kids, I have become fixated upon small cute things. I have two little kittens who follow me around, but there ends reality. In my little world of sketching children's stories live Blue Cat, Blue Kitty, Blue Thing, and Construction Frog. The four of them are a dynamic quartet, and have many little adventures. I tell myself it's just for the kid's stories, but really they're a diversion (and they're adorable as well). Two of them (Blue Kitty and Blue Thing) live in my purse, Construction Frog is wrought from clay, and Blue Cat only exists on paper. However, they are some of the cutest characters in the way they interact. Whether or not I'm losing my marbles is irrelevant, since they make me happy in their own funny, cute, innocent little way.
And so, here are the exploits of Blue Kitty and Blue Thing, photographed for a digital album.

Here, we see that the Blue Things have just discovered Freedom. Blue Kitty (on the left) looks kinda psyched, while Blue Thing appears apprehensive (as he usually does). What will this new world be like? What new surprises, treats, and (yes Blue Thing,) dangers will it present? The only way to find out is, like Clarissa Dalloway, to take the plunge and see for themselves. Perhaps tomorrow they will let me post another picture of their day.
