UPISketch is a new kind of composition tool, that keeps the principle of “pitch versus time” of the classical score, extended in the continuous domain. It allows to freely draw absolute pitch curves applied to existing sounds. It uses granular synthesis. It can be used to sketch musical ideas, try alternative scales (divisions of the octave), and more. It is inspired by the famous UPIC machine that was invented in 1977 by Iannis Xenakis and the CEMAMu engineers. New with Version 2: Amplitude curves have been added Live Synthesis: we can monitor the score in real time at the position given by the playhead Groups, and group duplication List of gestures showing unfoldable groups Much improved Undo / Redo Solo monitoring Smoother pitch glissandi More display options Zooming with mouse wheel (desktop version) ... and other fixes...
