Flexible check-in window

Improvement

Skedda now gives you more control over how and when bookings are confirmed.

You can now extend check-in windows up to 72 hours before a booking starts. This is especially helpful for weekend gaps — for example, users can now check in for a Monday booking even if the window falls over Saturday or Sunday.

In addition, you can also tailor check-in rules by day of the week. Set different policies for different day groups — like one rule for Mondays and another for Tuesday through Friday — for fine-tuned control over how your spaces actually operate.

Assigned Spaces management for Custom Admins

Improvement

Custom admins can now assign and reassign assigned spaces directly from the space booking modal, making it easier to manage space allocations without requiring full system admin access.

This update also provides a convenient shortcut for all admins to assign or reassign a space without needing to navigate to the space settings

To learn more about setting up custom admin roles, see the help guide.

Zoom link integration

New

Skedda now supports a native integration with Zoom, making it easy to add Zoom video conferencing links to bookings and keep meeting details in sync.

Once enabled at the venue level, users can add a Zoom meeting to their synced bookings directly from Skedda. The Zoom meeting link is automatically created and added to the booking, and propagates to any synced external calendars. Zoom Rooms are also supported when the room is synced as a resource via an external calendar.

This integration helps teams streamline meeting setup, reduce manual coordination, and ensure video meeting details stay consistent across systems.

For more information about how to connect your Zoom account to Skedda, read our help guide.

Notification Rules

New

Skedda now supports Notification Rules, giving venues more control over who gets notified and when.

Notification Rules allow admins to automatically send detailed booking emails to specific email addresses. Rules can be scoped to specific spaces, triggered by booking events (such as bookings being created, updated, or canceled), and optionally filtered using custom fields.

This makes it easy to notify internal teams or external vendors - like catering, facilities, or security - only when relevant bookings occur, without relying on a single venue contact email.

Notification Rules work alongside existing user and venue notifications. For setup details, see the help guide.

Delivery Management made simple

New

Managing deliveries at your venue just got a whole lot easier. Get started!

With Deliveries, you can now keep track of incoming packages and ensure nothing gets missed.

What you can do with Deliveries:

  • Log incoming deliveries with key details like recipient, courier, and notes.
  • Notify recipients automatically when their delivery arrives.
  • Track delivery status so your front desk and admins always know what’s already been picked up.

Deliveries is part of the Visitor Management add-on available for all Skedda & AllBooked plans.

Introducing Booking Approvals

New

Skedda's Booking approvals give venues a new way to manage shared spaces that are high in demand.

The request-first workflow helps admins choose best fit bookings and communicate decisions clearly, without slowing everyday self-serve reservations elsewhere.

Users simply submit a booking request which the admins can then review in a dedicated list, approve or reject them, and include a note explaining the decision.

Bookings are only created once approved, making it easier to manage demand and resolve conflicts fairly.

SCIM provisioning with Okta

New

Skedda now supports SCIM provisioning with Okta, making it easier to automate user access alongside your existing identity setup.

With Okta SCIM, you can automatically provision and deprovision users, keep user details in sync, and map Okta groups to Skedda custom tags – all without manual user management. SCIM works alongside SAML SSO to provide full identity lifecycle automation per venue. This update expands our existing SCIM support beyond Microsoft Entra ID and is available to venues on the Premier plan.

For setup instructions, take a look at the help guide.

Custom Admin Roles

New

Booking administration across departments, locations, and disparate resources is now easier via Skedda’s new customizable permissions.

With Custom Admin Roles, you can grant booking admin access on a per-space basis, ensuring the right people only manage the spaces they’re responsible for – without giving them venue-wide control. This makes delegation easier, reduces mistakes, and creates far less admin overhead as your venue grows.

Custom Admins can create, delete, and edit bookings on behalf of other users only in the spaces they are selected to manage.

Get started by visiting Settings → Admin Roles & Permissions → Add Custom Role. This is the first step toward a more flexible and powerful permissions model in Skedda. Next up, we’re expanding Custom Admin capabilities with more granular controls across space assignments, settings, reporting, and beyond.

Visitor tablets now support multiple languages

New

We’ve improved the visitor check-in experience with a new language selector on tablet displays.

Visitors can switch languages right on the tablet during check-in, or on their phone after scanning the QR code. Supported languages include: English, French, German, and Spanish.

This is the latest step in making Skedda more accessible for organizations spanning global and multilingual environments.

Check-in push notifications

New

Based on your feedback, we’ve just made our check-in process even more seamless and reliable.

Now, when a booking window opens, users can check in instantly from a push notification through the Skedda mobile app. No hunting for links or digging through emails. Just tap, confirm, done.

After their next successful mobile check-in, users will be prompted to enable push notifications. Once enabled, Skedda will send a friendly nudge right when the check-in window opens — helping them stay on top of bookings and never miss a beat.

Make sure your Skedda app’s up to date on the App Store or Google Play to start getting check-in reminders today.
