⚠️ SAFETY ALERT: Petzl ASTRO & CANYON GUIDE Harnesses

Petzl has issued a critical safety alert regarding the replacement of the ventral D-ring on certain harness models.

The Issue:

Premature wear on the screws of the gated ventral attachment point can cause the D-ring pin to release. If this happens, the attachment point could open, posing a risk of serious injury or death.

Are you affected? Check your serial number! This alert applies to:

Note: Even if you inspected your harness during the 2023 alert, you MUST perform this replacement.

What to do now:

Stop use immediately if your harness fails the manual "pin slide" test (details on Petzl's site).

Request a free replacement kit (D-ring and screws) from Petzl after-sales service.
