WHERE ARE YOUR POSTS?

TO EVERYTHING THERE IS A SEASON

Good morning all,

Yes, it’s been a while since I last posted.

For those who have inquired and those who may wonder, know that all is well.

As I’ve said on my “About Me” page, there’s no set schedule for my posts because while there are many things I can write and publish, I prefer to keep my spirit open to the Lord and flow, i.e., to see when and what He would have me write and publish.

A significant part of my silence is because I’m presently in a season of re-filling and re-defining more than outpouring, so as soon as this shifts and the Lord gives me something to say, I will post it.

Until then, keep the faith and be encouraged in the Lord.

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:..a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;”

THREE SONGS THAT WILL BLESS YOUR SOUL

The first time I heard Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart’s songs was as a child in my father’s car; my father loved to listen to his album, “Some Golden Daybreak”.

I enjoyed hearing Evangelist Swaggart’s songs back then, but now, having lived and walked through and seen many other Believer’s live and walk through life’s vicissitudes, I can really appreciate and identify with the lyrics of many of them, and am truly blessed by the power and anointing upon them.

Yesterday I was listening to a few of his songs on YouTube and decided to share three of them from his ministry.

I believe these songs will encourage you if you need reassurance that God is mindful of you and your situation, reassurance that He cares for you, and reassurance that no matter what you’ve done or are going through, His grace is sufficient for you so you can continue trusting Him through it all.

2017 THANK YOU

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It’s 2017!

A brand new year is ahead of us!

For some, the thought of embarking on a new year brings feelings of excitement, hope, and anticipation……….for others, feelings of apathy, despair and fear.

As Kingdom Citizens, no matter our feelings about 2017, we can rest in the fact that although it is a new year to us, it is not a new year to God, our Father, the Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient, King of Heaven and Earth, so we can trust Him to lead and guide us through it……praise His Name!

I send a big “THANK YOU” to all followers and visitors of “Unwalled” around the globe; your support, comments, and words of encouragement during 2016 were very much appreciated. Thanks also for sharing my content via email, re-blogging, and the various social media platforms enabling, even more lives to be blessed.

Most of all, I thank God for His grace and faithfulness because, without Him, none of this would be possible.

It is my prayer that the Lord continues to use “Unwalled” to encourage, edify and inspire you and many others in 2017 and by His grace, I’m confident that He will.

Again, thank you for your support and may each of you have a healthy, happy, safe, intentional, and purpose-filled year.

TRUST GOD MORE THAN EVER IN 2017

“IT’S CRITICAL TO TRUST GOD IN 2017”

Happy New Year to all!

I did not intend to post anything today, but I feel impressed to share that this year, it is more important than ever before for us to trust God.

To trust Him, particularly concerning the following 5 areas:

1) The infallible truth of His Word…..

2) The unmatchable greatness of His power…..

3) The irrefutable goodness of His nature…..

4) His indisputable sovereignty, knowing He has the final say on all matters…….

5) His unchangeable love for you as His child…….

We have officially entered the unchartered waters of 2017 and we do not know what this year will bring, but we can make a decision today to trust God.

We can make a decision to trust Him and to show our trust by our obedience and submission to Him, and in our attitude and posture toward Him no matter what we face.

Will you make that decision today?

Will you say, Lord, by Your grace I will trust You this year?

Father, thank you for allowing us to see 2017. As we enter this new year, we declare our desire and decision to trust You and ask that You enable us to do it by Your grace, Your divine enabling power, in Jesus’ Name, amen.

2016 IS ALMOST OVER

At the beginning of the year, I posted 10 totally random, but wise, musings that I felt would help you in 2016.

After reading them again this morning, I thought it would be good to re-post them for reflection and repositioning moving forward to 2017.

HABITS

New Year + Old Habits = Same Results

New Year + New Habits = Different Results

What Will You Choose?

Selah!

GOALS

If you set out and fall down, fall back, or fall off, get up and start again.

Even if you have to start again 1000 times with the sound of mockers ringing in your ears, get up and start again.

Just do it!

Selah!

PEOPLE

When God wants to bless you, He will often send a person/persons into your life.

When the enemy wants to destroy you, he will often send a person/persons into your life.

Whether online or in person, be discerning of people who show up in your life and want to connect with you.

Ask God to show you the real deal.

ATTACHMENTS & TIES

Be careful who and what you attach yourself to mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, sexually, financially or socially, particularly when you are experiencing pain or adversity.

Attachments are easily made but not as easily broken.

This is because of soul ties, unseen yet very real ties whose power, and sometimes very existence, you will never know until its time to let someone or something go, or to give someone or something up.

Be careful who and what you attach yourself to this year.

TIME

On what, where, when, how, and with whom you spend your time tells the true story of your priorities, your character, your life.

Spend your time wisely!

SOCIAL MEDIA

Will you use social media this year, or will social media use you?

LEADERSHIP

“Leadership is not a position that you occupy, but an influence that you exert”. – (Unknown)

This year, be mindful of your influence.

Lead well.

OBEDIENCE

Will you obey and please God at the expense of people or obey and please people at the expense of God?

Though hard at times because of the backlash, retaliation, verbal assassination, and negative vibes and attitudes, the former is always better than the latter.

Selah!

REJECTION

There will be rejection.

Instead of as an enemy, see rejection as a gift.

It is often through rejection that we experience isolation, and through isolation, that we better hear the voice of God and have the opportunity to experience clarity, instruction and exponential growth.

Selah!

WORSHIP

The first mention of the word “worship” in the Bible is found in Genesis 22:5 concerning Abraham as he sought to obey God about sacrificing Isaac, his son of promise.

There is no mention of singing, shouting, dancing, music or instruments, but there is mention of an altar and the treasure of man’s heart being laid on it.

Worship is so much more than the expression of reverence and adoration to God with our lips; it is so much more than a “hallelujah”, a “Praise the Lord”, a shout, a dance or a bending of the knee.

At it’s highest, it is the expression of “worth-ship” to God by surrendering, sacrificing and offering up to Him that which He requires of us no matter what it costs or how much it hurts.

Worship is more so what we do with our lives at God’s request.

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” – Romans 12:1 – NIV

Will you worship Him this year?

Be encouraged, be blessed and move into the new year empowered by God’s grace and knowing that He has good plans for you!

When considering what to post as my Christmas message this year, I decided to re-post what I said in 2013 because my sentiments are truly the same, and even more-so considering the enemy’s increased warfare against Christ during this season.

This Christmas,

each time you see a light, remember that Jesus is the light of the world.

This Christmas,

each time you see a gift, remember that God gave the greatest gift in sending His only begotten Son to earth so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

each time you see a Christmas tree, remember the price Jesus paid for your salvation by suffering and dying on the cross.

each time you see preparations made in commemoration and celebration of the first arrival of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, remember the importance of preparing yourself for His next arrival because He is coming again, not as a baby in a manger, but as a mighty, conquering King.

GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN YOU

THERE IS LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL

The Holy Spirit showed me a long dark tunnel. In the same way that you travel through a tunnel to go from one place to another, there are many believers in a time of transition. In the natural most people don’t like to drive through tunnels, especially if they don’t know the length of the tunnel. A tunnel could be dark and cold and seem endless. When you are in a tunnel you have a drastically narrowed field of vision and you are surrounded by walls. Many of you are in a time of transformation that you are unfamiliar with. It seems as if you have been moving forward but not experiencing victory in this cold dismal place. You have been there for so long that you have developed “tunnel vision” as your vision has become extremely narrow.

The Lord is saying to continue to go forward and don’t grow weary in well doing. His plan will begin to unfold as you diligently seek Him in this time of transition. It may be a challenging time and a difficult process, but don’t make the mistake of going back to the old door and opening it again if you know that God had closed it. When Jesus opens a door or makes a way for you, there will be no fear, neither will it be difficult or stressful.

For those of you who have been waiting on a word or promise from the Lord and you are not seeing it come to pass, don’t allow discouragement to take root. We are entering into a season of promises and destinies that are going to be fulfilled. Don’t give up or compromise in the eleventh hour. The greatest challenge is not what you went through in the past but it is the success of your future. Continue to pursue the vision that was promised to you. It will surely come to pass. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
