YOUNG MAN – STOP AND THINK BEFORE GETTING INVOLVED IN CRIME!

“If young toughs tell you, “Come and join us”—turn your back on them!

“We’ll hide and rob and kill,” they say.

“Good or bad, we’ll treat them all alike.

And the loot we’ll get! All kinds of stuff!

Come on, throw in your lot with us; we’ll split with you in equal shares.”

Don’t do it, son! Stay far from men like that,

for crime is their way of life, and murder is their specialty.

When a bird sees a trap being set, it stays away,

but not these men; they trap themselves!

They lay a booby trap for their own lives.

Such is the fate of all who live by violence and murder.

They will die a violent death.

AN EARLY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT FOR 2015

NO MATTER THE OPPOSITION – PERSEVERE!

Opposition will come against anything of significance and value that you seek to do for the Kingdom of God.

The key is to keep focused and keep building.

Persons with the spirits of Sanballat and Tobiah will arise but don’t let them distract or discourage you.

Keep a tool in one hand and a weapon in the other and keep building.

Focus on what God told you in the beginning and hold on to that.

Let that word be the anchor that holds you fast in the midst of the storm of opposition.

Know that as persons rise against you, they are only tools the enemy is using to discourage, distract, and dissuade you from moving forward to complete God’s will.

Remember you do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against spirits so war according to the spirit with prayer, praise, the Word, the Name of Jesus and the Blood of Jesus and not with fleshly weapons for they will fail you.

As you press on to do and advance what God has placed in you heart for 2015, be encouraged to know that whatever He has decreed and declared shall come to pass if you are willing and obedient to the Spirit.

Don’t mind the naysayers, the negative words, or the looks of mocking scorn and doubt, just press in and do what your Father has called you to do for it’s His business, not their business, and by His grace, you will be victorious.

Remember, nothing significant or valuable to the Kingdom of God will be established without a fight and it is not by might, nor by power but by the Spirit of God that it shall be done.

2014 HAS GONE – 2015 IS HERE!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

You made it into 2015!……..no matter what 2014 was like, that’s reason enough to give God praise…..hallelujah!

A big “THANK YOU” to all followers, visitors and email-receivers of “Unwalled” around the globe; your support, comments, and words of encouragement during 2014 were very much appreciated. Thanks also for sharing my content via email, re-blogging and the various social media platforms enabling even more lives to be blessed.

A big “THANK YOU” to those of you who shared your heartaches, challenges, problems and dreams with me last year; know that I do not take your trust and confidence for granted and count it a privilege to have been able to help you in some way.

Most of all, I thank God for His grace and faithfulness because without Him, none of this would be possible.

It is my prayer that the Lord continues to use “Unwalled” to encourage, edify and inspire you and many others in 2015 and by His grace, I’m confident that He will.

As we enter 2015, I want to urge you more than ever before to hold fast to the foundational ethics, morals, principles and tenets of the Faith as they are increasingly challenged.

Remember, what God deems right is right and what He deems wrong is wrong and no opinion, petition or majority vote will ever change His mind.

Remember also that no matter the noise in the world’s marketplace, God’s Truth will stand forever as the unchanging plumb line against which everyone and everything will be judged.

Thank you again for your support and may each of you have a healthy, happy, safe, purpose-filled New Year.

MY CHRISTMAS MESSAGE FOR YOU

JESUS IS YOUR GREATEST GIFT – CELEBRATE HIM!

Good morning all!

Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Today as we commemorate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, whatever your situation, make a decision to focus on Him and celebrate.

Don’t allow your circumstances to dictate your degree of celebration.

Whether you have little or much materially, focus on Him and celebrate!

Whether you receive many or no gifts, celebrate, knowing that in Him, you have the greatest gift of all!

What other gift can compare to the eternal, indestructible, immeasurable, surpassing gift of Christ?

What other gift when received can transform you into a new creation, connect you with God the Father, give you love, joy, peace, salvation, healing, deliverance, protection, purpose, abundant life, abiding companionship, and every spiritual blessing?

That is just a few things that you have because of Jesus, God’s gift to you so celebrate!

One more thing, as you make final preparations in celebration of His first arrival, remember the importance of being ready for His next arrival because He is coming again, not as a baby in a manger, but as a mighty, conquering King……..Be ready!

May you and your loved ones have a blessed, peaceful, safe, and Christ-filled, holiday.

CHRISTMAS IS OUR BIG EVENT – LET’S CELEBRATE ANYWAY!

CHRISTMAS IS OUR BIG EVENT – LET’S CELEBRATE!

CELEBRATE – “to do something special or enjoyable for an important event, occasion, holiday, etc., to praise (someone or something) to say that (someone or something) is great or important.”

I don’t know if it’s only me, but I sense a different spirit in the atmosphere in the Bahamas this Christmas; it’s not the usual light-hearted, happy, celebratory feeling in the air.

It’s almost like there is a sinister blend of fear, anxiety and uncertainty hovering over our nation threatening to snuff out or at best minimize our usual joyous Christmas celebrations.

Maybe it’s a kind of “national post traumatic syndrome” as we as a people are left in the traumatic wake of so much crime, violence, rape, murder, and tragedy in 2014………or maybe it’s the residual effects of the lawlessness, political snafus, new immigration policy, labor unrest and unemployment.

Perhaps it’s the lingering frustration of heavy traffic, dropped phone calls, power outages, low water pressure and rising food prices……..or perhaps it’s the general uneasiness about the impending implementation of 7.5% VAT on January 1st, the proposed constitutional changes and the diminishing trust in the efficacy of our leaders at large.

More that likely it’s a combination of all the above………and more.

No matter where you are, if you are sensing a difference in the atmosphere today and not the usual Christmas cheer, don’t bow to it and let it get you down or dampen your spirit.

Instead, I urge you to decide that as a Believer, you will not focus on what is happening around you but will set and keep your mind on Jesus, the reason for the season.

He is our Lord, our Savior, our Master, and our King and it is His birth that we are commemorating at this time of year so let’s purpose to joyously and gratefully celebrate it as best we can no matter what is going on around us or in our personal lives.

Whatever we focus on becomes magnified so more than ever before, this Christmas season, let’s focus on Jesus’ birth and what it really means to us as Believers and celebrate.

“For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”

IT’S A MATTER OF CASH N’ GO

HS GREACE WILL HELP YOU OVERCOME EACH STORM

HIS GRACE WILL HELP YOU OVERCOME EACH STORM

Following the Lord’s command to “let’s go over to the other side” in some area of your life does not guarantee a storm free passage.

Sometimes in following His command you will encounter intense storms……..relationship storms. financial storms, health storms, workplace storms, political storms, ministry storms……….storms.

But you can rest assured of this, since the Lord gave you the command, He is with you in the midst of any storm that may arise and when you call out to Him for help in your time of need, He will give you the grace to overcome and get to the other side.

It’s a matter of CASH N’ GO.

SELAH!

On that same day [when] evening had come, He said to them, Let us go over to the other side [of the lake].

And leaving the throng, they took Him with them, [just] as He was, in the boat [in which He was sitting]. And other boats were with Him.

And a furious storm of wind [of hurricane proportions] arose, and the waves kept beating into the boat, so that it was already becoming filled.

YES, GOD DID ORDER THAT STEP!

BY GRACE EMBRACE EACH STEP

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,
And He delights in his way.”

(Psalm 37:23 – NKJV)

The Word of God tells us that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.

Note that “the steps” is an all-inclusive term.

This means that both the good and the “bad” steps in the life of a Believer are ordered by the Lord.

I say “bad” because Romans 8:28 states, “We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.” (Amplified Bible) so this means that even though certain steps in our lives may bring pain, loss or adversity, because of God’s underlying purpose and intent for allowing them, even though they may seem bad on the surface, at the core these steps are good.

So, Man of God, Woman of God, where have the steps of your life taken you?

To a business deal that you prayed about and felt certain in your spirit would work out but it failed?

To being laid off by the employer you faithfully and diligently served for the past twenty years?

To a marriage you thought was “made in heaven” but seems crafted in hell?

To the sudden death of a loved one that has you reeling in shock and grief?

Proverbs 16:33 states, “The lot is cast into the lap, but the decision is wholly of the Lord [even the events that seem accidental are really ordered by Him].” – (Amplified Bible). – SELAH!

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.

The book of Job begins with this verse, “There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who [reverently] feared God and abstained from and shunned evil [because it was wrong].” – (Job 1:1 – Amplified Bible)

Job was an unquestionably good man whose steps were ordered in such an intensely calamitous way (see Job 1:2 – 2:8) that Job chapter 2 verse 9, states, “Then his wife said to him, Do you still hold fast your blameless uprightness? Renounce God and die!”- (Amplified Bible)

Do you know what Job’s response was?

Verse 10 states, “But he said to her, You speak as one of the impious and foolish women would speak. What? Shall we accept [only] good at the hand of God and shall we not accept [also] misfortune and what is of a bad nature? In [spite of] all this, Job did not sin with his lips.” – (Amplified Bible)

Wow!

In spite of the intensity of what he went through, Job kept a God-view of His situation…….Job recognized that his steps were ordered by the Lord.

What about you?

How do yo see the difficult situation that you are going through today?

Is your internal posture like that of Job or that of Job’s wife? – Selah!

If the latter, I challenge you to repent, lay aside your view of the problem and ask God to help you see it look through His eyes.

If you do this, by His grace, instead of a problem, you will see a possibility.

A possibility for unprecedented spiritual growth and maturity, a possibility for an exponential deepening of your relationship with God, a possibility that can transform you further into the image of Christ, a possibility designed to prepare and push you toward God’s purpose and destiny for your life.

So today, armed with this new perspective, don’t despise your problem.

Instead allow the pressure of your problem to prepare your person and produce the passion to push you into your purpose.

Rejoice for your steps are ordered by the Lord and His purposes and intent are always good.
