HAPPY RESURRECTION SUNDAY! – HE’S ALIVE!

HAPPY RESURRECTION SUNDAY! – HE’S ALIVE!

HE IS RISEN AND HE WILL RETURN!

HE IS RISEN AND HE WILL RETURN!

The Risen Christ, Faith’s Reality
15 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. 6 After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. 7 After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. 8 Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.

9 For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 11 Therefore, whether it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.

The Risen Christ, Our Hope
12 Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. 14 And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. 15 Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not rise. 16 For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. 17 And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! 18 Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.

The Last Enemy Destroyed
20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 27 For “He has put all things under His feet.”[a] But when He says “all things are put under Him,” it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

Our Final Victory
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”[g]

55 “O Death, where is your sting?[h]
O Hades, where is your victory?”[i]
56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

(I Corinthians 15:1-28, 50-58 – NKJV)

ASHAMED OF YOUR BIRTH CIRCUMSTANCES?……….

ASHAMED OF YOUR BIRTH CIRCUMSTANCES?…….

unwalled quote 1

“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed.
How precious are your thoughts about me, O God.
They cannot be numbered!
I can’t even count them;
they outnumber the grains of sand!
And when I wake up,
you are still with me!

(Psalms 139:13-18 – NLT)

“For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.”

WHO YOU ARE: A MESSAGE TO ALL WOMEN

Yesterday I came across the following video on YouTube by Jon Jorgenson entitled “Who You Are: A Message To All Women”.

I found it very encouraging and empowering as a woman and decided to share it because I believe other women will find it encouraging and empowering too.

I also decided to share it as a reminder to men of the wonderful, awesome creation that we are…:)

Enjoy!

AS WOMEN OF GOD, I BELIEVE…….

AS WOMEN OF GOD, I BELIEVE……

SAYING "YES" TO HIM MAKES YOU BEAUTIFUL IN HIS TIME.

REPEATEDLY SAYING “YES” TO HIM MAKES US BEAUTIFUL IN HIS TIME

“As women of God, I believe that when we hunger and thirst after God, after His essence, His presence, His being, that when we hunger and thirst after His character being formed in us, His righteousness radiating from us, His will being done in and through us, that when we invest time in His Word and prayer and incline our hearts to hear and obey His voice, that when we seek to progressively discover and embrace who He is, His purposes, His principles and His plans, that when we in essence say “yes” to Him in His entirety, we position ourselves for incredible transformation and for the manifestation of His glory in our lives.

I believe it’s a time-tagged process, a magnificent unpredictable journey that begins with a “yes” and requires many subsequent yesses, sometimes difficult ones, but ends in priceless fulfillment and completion in His way and His time.”

WEDNESDAY WISDOM FOR WOMEN

WEDNESDAY WISDOM FOR WOMEN

SOME WISDOM FOR WOMEN

SOME WISDOM TIPS FOR WOMEN

Here are five wisdom tips for women that I have gleaned from life and that I thought I’d share today.

TIP 1

“Be wary of comparing yourself with other women. There will always be someone more attractive, competent, fluent, poised, articulate, intelligent, qualified, fit, influential, funny, talented, anointed, popular, shapely or financially enabled than you. That’s okay. The blend of attributes God gave you is intricate to His divine purpose for you so instead of falling into the comparison trap, appreciate, embrace and maximize what you have and ask God to help you to shine in your own unique way to His honor and glory.”

 SELAH!

TIP 2

“Be warm, loving, and open, share your heart, develop relationships, bond with others, but remember that God reserves the seat of the throne of your heart for Him and Him alone. Never allow anyone else to sit in that powerful place of internal dominance. Not your father, mother, brother, sister, husband, children, significant other, best friend, pastor, boss or whomever. That highly influential place within rightfully belongs to God. Retain Him as your first love and none other.”

SELAH!

TIP 3

“Be careful who you allow to have access to your personal life, to visit your inner sanctum, your private place of hopes, dreams, deepest thoughts, problems and fears. People can have great influence on your life either for better or for worse so it is incumbent upon you to with the help of the Holy Spirit qualify the soil of a person’s heart before giving them access to your inner life.”

SELAH!

TIP 4

“Understand and recognize that sometimes you just can’t fix it; that sometimes, no matter what you do, you just can’t make it right. In times like these, honor your limits, find peace in the assurance that you’ve done your best, leave the matter in the hands of the Lord and live.”

SELAH!

TIP 5

“Be careful not to allow the pressure of expectations, the lack of understanding, the looks of disapproval, the negative vibes, the critical spirit, the absence of support, the wary facial expressions, the scorn, the gossip, or the threats,  from those around you and even closest to you, cause you to divert from or abandon the path, the process and ultimately, the fulfillment of what you know to be God’s will for your life.”

SELAH!

Hope you found these wisdom tips helpful in some way.

Blessings!

WHAT IS IT REALLY?

WHAT IS IT REALLY?

THE LORD KNOWS WHAT IT REALLY IS ON THE INSIDE OF US

THE LORD KNOWS WHAT IT REALLY IS ON THE INSIDE OF US

Sometimes we do not label, define or call certain attitudes, emotions or behaviors what they actually are.

Instead to make them more palatable, acceptable and to help us feel more comfortable about having them, or to minimize or even eliminate conviction, accountability and the necessity of change, we call them something “similar” yet “different”.

When dealing with situations, it is prudent to ask ourselves, what is it really?

WHAT IS IT REALLY?

NEED OR GREED?

LOVE OR LUST?

LISTENING OR HEARING?

CONCERN OR CONTROL?

PROTECTION OR UNABATED FEAR?

ADMIRATION OR IDOLIZATION?

ASPIRATION OR COVETOUSNESS?

REPENTANCE OR GUILT OFFERING?

OUT OF THE GOODNESS OF HEART OR FROM AN ULTERIOR MOTIVE?

FOR MY SAKE OR FOR YOUR SAKE?

WHAT IS IT REALLY?

Sometimes we do not label, define or call certain attitudes, emotions or behaviors what they actually are.

Instead to make them more palatable, acceptable and to help us feel more comfortable about having them, or to minimize or even eliminate conviction, accountability and the necessity of change, we call them something “similar” yet “different”.

When dealing with situations, it is prudent to ask ourselves, what is it really?….then with the help of the Lord make the appropriate adjustments.

SELAH!

“Behold, You desire truth in the inner being; make me therefore to know wisdom in my inmost heart.”

(Psalms 51:6 – Amplified Bible)

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me.”

(Psalms 51:10 – Amplified Bible)

I CAN ONLY IMAGINE

I CAN ONLY IMAGINE

A young man at my church named Khadn ministered “I Can Only Imagine” in church yesterday and it was a blessing.

The song has been in my spirit all day so I just decided to post it.

Hope it blesses you.

Kim

“I CAN ONLY IMAGINE” – BY MERCYME

“Do not let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.
In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places (homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you.
And when (if) I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.”
