A TRIBUTE TO THE MOST AMAZING FATHER EVER!
I originally wrote and published this post as a tribute to my Father for Father’s Day of 2011 and thought I’d repost it again this year because He continues to be so amazing to me.

I have the most amazing Father in the universe.
He is the most caring Father that you can ever imagine.
Before He formed me in my mother’s womb He knew me and called me and gave me a purpose and destiny to carry out on the earth, He even prepared good works in advance for me to do.
Although I have millions of brothers and sisters all around the world, My Father always has time for me. Whenever I call on Him, whether night or day, He is there. He has an open door policy and loves when I come to spend time with Him; He never rushes me out of His presence. Wherever I go, my Father is with me, in fact, He promised never to leave me nor forsake me. I am so special to Him that He has numbered the very hairs on my head, no I did not say counted, I said numbered, He actually has them numbered – wow!
My Father takes really good care of me. He is my source.
Because of Him, I do not have to worry about what I will eat, drink, or wear. When I have a need, all I have to do is ask Him, and guess what, He is so caring and attentive to me that He knows what I need even before I ask. Whatever I need My Father supplies whether spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, social, or material. He does it all according to His riches in glory. He has unlimited access to everything because He owns the earth and everything in it, including the cattle on a thousand hills, the gold and silver and all other resources. – My Father is rich and generous!
Not only is my Father caring, He is also extremely loving.
He loves me so much that He allowed my oldest brother, His first-born and only Son to suffer and die to pay the price for my sins just so I could be a part of His family. Can you imagine that? He gave His first and only begotten Son to die and pay the price for me to become a part of His family and because He made such a big initial sacrifice for me, He promised not to withhold any good thing from me – I am so blessed!
Not only is my Father caring and extremely loving, He is also very forgiving.
Whenever I do something wrong, if I go to Him and confess it with a sincere heart, He is faithful and just and forgives me of that sin and cleanses me from all unrighteousness. He never despises a broken heart. He is long-suffering, compassionate, and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in love. He does not harbor anger. My Father never treats me as my sins deserve or repays me according to my faults. To give you an idea of the size of His love toward me, go outside and look up into the sky. As high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for me and as far as the east is from the west, that is as far as He removes my sins. – My Father is the best!
Not only is my Father caring, extremely loving, and very forgiving, He is also wise and powerful.
There is absolutely nothing or no one more powerful than He. As a matter of fact, He holds all power and authority in the heavens and the earth and any power you see manifested has been delegated or allowed by Him. He sets up kings and queens and takes them down. He reduces the rulers of this world to nothing, no sooner are they established, He blows on them and they wither away. He laughs at His enemies. He blows them away like chaff and they melt in His presence like wax on a candle. – You don’t fool around with my Father!
My Father is so powerful and wise that He created the heavens and stretched them out like a canopy. He created and named each star and hung them in the galaxy. He measured the waters of the earth in the palm of His hand and the dimensions of the heaven with the breadth of His hands. He commands the winds and the waves. He is so wise that no one can counsel Him. He knows and declares the end of a matter from the beginning and whatever He declares becomes; He says “be” and it is. His purposes stand and He does whatever He pleases and absolutely no one or nothing can stop Him. – Mind blowing!
My Father is not only caring, extremely loving, very forgiving, powerful and wise, He is also entirely trustworthy.
Not only does He tell the truth, He is Truth. It is impossible for Him to lie. Whatever He says He will do, He does; He never ever breaks a promise. I can lean, rely, and completely depend on Him for all things and in all things. – I am so privileged to have such a Father!
Who is my Father?
He is the God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of Israel, the one and only true and living God.
He is Jehovah, the Self-Existing Eternal One.
He is Jehovah-Jireh – The Lord my Provider.
He is Jehovah-Nissi – The Lord my Banner of Love and Protection.
He is Jehovah-Shalom – The Lord my perfect Peace.
He is Jehovah-Tsid-Kenu – The Lord my Righteousness.
He is Jehovah-Shammah – The Lord, the Omnipresent One.
He is Jehovah-Saboath – The Lord of Hosts, my Protector.
He is Jehovah-Rapha – The Lord my Healer
He is my Abba!
To whom can you compare my Father?
To what can you compare Him?
There is none like Him, absolutely none!
I have the most amazing Father in the universe; He is simply amazing!
On this Father’s Day, as a small tribute to Him and an expression of my love for Him, I just thought I’d let you know.

GOD SAYS, REMEMBER, I AM
“BELIEVE GOD”
Tonight God says to remember, I AM.
To you who are reeling in mental turmoil…
He says, remember, I AM your peace.
To you who are smothering under a blanket of depression…
He says, remember, I AM your joy.
To you who are in financial duress not knowing where the next dollar is coming from…
He says, remember, I AM your provider.
To you who are confused, perplexed and wondering what to do…
He says, remember, I AM your wisdom.
To you who are burdened down by a bad decision…
He says, remember, I AM the glory and the lifter up of your head.
To you who are stuck and see no way out of your situation…

UNWALLED POETRY – THE STORY BEHIND THE BOOK
On several occasions over the past few weeks, I’ve been asked,
“So, how did Unwalled Poetry come about; what’s the story behind the book?”
…so here it is in a nutshell.
From around 2002 or so, poems began to spontaneously drop into my spirit.
I’d be asleep at night and awakened in the wee hours of the morning with a poem and write it in my spiritual journal that I kept by my bedside.
As time passed, the poems not only came at night but began to show up anytime and anywhere so I would have to quickly find something to write them on.
When I started “Unwalled” in February of 2010, to vary the blog’s content, I occasionally posted some of the poems. I also shared some via email.
This went on for the next few years, then in January of 2014, the Lord instructed me to compile the poems in a manuscript and have them published in a book. He also gave me the name of the book and the devotional format at that time.
I wish I could say that I promptly and joyfully obeyed, but that was not the case; I confess that internally, I resisted.
I resisted “reasoning” that the poems were already available online and blessing lives so why do a book…
that poetry books usually do not sell well so why publish a book that people are not likely to buy to read instead of publishing another that they more likely will…
that to compile the poems would be very time-consuming and a lot of my time was already tied up with the assignment of establishing my life coaching practice…
However, in spite of the fight that my carnal mind put up, my spirit prevailed and later that year, I began to compile the poems and draft the manuscript, doing a little here and there between everything else.
When 2015 rolled around, I continued to peck at the task, not really giving it the focused attention that I should have.
This continued until May of 2016 when I became ill and had to take a long break from everything.
During that time, while meditating one day, the Lord reminded me of His instruction to compile the poems and publish the book and rebuked me for the lackadaisical attitude I’d displayed toward it…His directive was to “get it done!”
Needless to say, I repented, asked His forgiveness, and as soon as I was well enough, I made every effort to do just that.
In early December of 2016, I finished the manuscript of 101 poems.
That Christmas Day, I submitted it to Christian Living Books, a publishing company in Bowie Maryland, USA, that I’d heard good reviews about.
On New Year’s Eve, I received notification of its acceptance and received a publishing contract from the company’s President, Mrs. Kimberley Stewart.
Less than three months later in March 2017, the book, Unwalled Poetry, was published in both electronic and paperback formats…God is good…\0/.
Unwalled poetry is not a result of something I set out to produce.
It is the result of obedience to a God-given directive to take spontaneously inspired poems, compile them in a manuscript and have them published with a specific title and devotional format.
It is of Him…I am simply the vessel it came through.
So in a nutshell, that’s the story behind Unwalled Poetry – A Different Devotional Experience.
The book is available online everywhere in both paperback and e-book formats, and locally in the Bahamas at The Bible Book & Gift Center – Palmdale Shopping Plaza, The Hallmark Store – The Mall at Marathon, and Logos Bookstore – Harbour Bay Shopping Center, East Bay Street, or from me personally.

ELECTION 2017 IS COMING! – WHOSE VOICE WILL YOU FOLLOW?
WILL YOU OBEY GOD OR MAN?
Once again the Bahamas is on the verge of another general election and so-called “election fever” is beginning to permeate the air.
Almost everywhere you turn, people are talking politics or predicting who the next government and Prime Minister will be. The atmosphere is filled with opinions and political prophets abound.
With all the noise, fanfare and emotional hullabaloo in the marketplace, on the airwaves and on social media, and with upcoming rallies on the horizon, there are plenty opportunities for God’s people to become caught up in the political whirlwind and lose focus of our electorate responsibility as Believers/Kingdom Citizens.
The direction that a nation takes and the manner in which it is built is greatly influenced by its governmental leaders.
Proverbs 29:2 states, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.” – (NKJV)
Proverbs 28:12 states, “When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked are in power, they groan.” – (NLT)
Considering the above, it is incumbent upon us as Believers/Kingdom Citizens to use our voting privileges to, as much as possible elect godly men and women to office, and therefore as key authorities and primary decision makers in our country’s affairs.
This is extremely important for many reasons, a few being:
When faced with the opportunity to exercise our voting privilege, it is our responsibility as Believers/Kingdom Citizens to carefully and prayerfully consider the presented candidates and where possible to seek to elect competent, godly men and women who not only have the potential to improve our national development, but who will also seek to be guided by God’s principles and establish His purposes.
The following are some facts about us as Believers that will help us maintain a Kingdom perspective during a political season.
1) As Believers, we are citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven and therefore foreigners in this earthly realm.
2) Our spiritual citizenship in God’s Kingdom is higher than, and therefore takes precedence over our earthly citizenship, i.e., our Bahamian citizenship.
3) As citizens of the Kingdom of God, our ultimate allegiance, or loyalty is to be to God as our Sovereign King.
4) The Constitution of our Kingdom is the Word of God, therefore we are to govern every aspect of our lives according to the principles contained therein. The Word of God is our supreme law and we are to obey it above all others.
5) As Kingdom Citizens, we have been appointed as ambassadors of the King. We live in the country that we do because He has called us to be His representatives/agents in that particular earthly territory.
6) As Kingdom Ambassadors, we relinquish all rights to present and act on our own personal opinions. The only position we are to take on an issue is that of our Government or King. We are to yield to and uphold the position of the King and to readily advance His Kingdom’s agenda in whichever arena or capacity we may function.
7) As Kingdom Ambassadors, our main mission is to make disciples of all nations and to expand God’s Kingdom on the earth. The cause of Christ is what we ought to live for and what we should be prepared to die for.
People of God, during this election season, more than ever before, we need to be intentionally mindful not to become so caught up in the political frenzy that we become unfocused and lose sight of our Kingdom responsibility and allow someone or something other than God to decide our involvement in the electoral process.
Because it’s election time, there is an abundance of voices in the atmosphere vying for our attention and support, and it’s okay to hear them, but at the end of the day, as Ambassadors in a foreign territory we must settle ourselves, be sober, and listen for the voice of our King…for His opinion, His desire, His instruction.
In John 10:27, Jesus, our King, and Sovereign Ruler states, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them and they follow me.” – (NIV-1984)
Jesus is our master mentor and one thing that stands out in His life is His obedience to the Father.
In John 5:30 He states, “I am able to do nothing from Myself [independently, of My own accord-but only as I am taught by God and as I get His orders]. Even as I hear, I judge [I decide as I am bidden to decide. As the voice comes to Me, so I give a decision], and My judgment is right (just, righteous), because I do not seek or consult My own will [I have no desire to do what is pleasing to Myself, My own aim, My own purpose] but only the will and pleasure of the Father Who sent Me.” – (Amplified Bible)
SELAH!
God desires us to seek His will regarding our voting decision and to vote for the person He confirms in our spirit as the candidate to vote for.
Remember, as Kingdom Ambassadors, the only position we are to take on an issue or matter is that of our Government or King…it’s tight, but it’s right!
If the Lord leads you to vote for the candidate that you in and of yourself want to vote for, great!
But what if this is not the case?
What if He leads you to vote for someone who you do not want to support?
WHOSE VOICE WILL YOU FOLLOW?
Remember, as Kingdom Citizens and Ambassadors, our allegiance is to be to the King and not to any party, organization or man.
Saints, many claim to be “the man with the plan” but in reality, only God knows what is best for our nation because He alone knows the past, present and future so the bottom line is it is best to go with His leading; it’s best to go with Him.
Isaiah 30:1-3 states, “Woe to the obstinate children,” declares the LORD, “to those who carry out plans that are not mine, forming an alliance, but not by my Spirit, heaping sin upon sin; who go down to Egypt without consulting me; who look for help to Pharaoh’s protection, to Egypt’s shade for refuge. But Pharaoh’s protection will be to your shame, Egypt’s shade will bring you disgrace.” – (NIV-1984)
IT’S ELECTION TIME! – WHOSE VOICE WILL YOU FOLLOW THIS POLITICAL SEASON?
THE VOICE OF MAN?
YOUR VOICE?
OR
THE VOICE OF THE LORD?
I pray that in this 2017 election, Believers/Kingdom Citizens in the Bahamas will be sober and spiritually discerning and have the wisdom to seek the Lord re who to vote for, and once revealed, by God’s grace have the spiritual fortitude to obey and mark his/her “X” wherever the Lord says, trusting in His wisdom, sovereignty and power and not in man’s words.
“Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save.”
(Psalms 46:3 – NIV-1984)
“It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.”
(Psalms 118:8 – NIV-1984)
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”
(Proverbs 3:5, 6 – NIV-1984)

THE MASTER POTTER

The Holy Spirit showed me a lump of clay on a potter’s wheel. The potter began to spin the wheel as he molded and shaped the piece of clay as he formed it. When making pottery on a potter’s wheel, the clay has to first be centered, then water is applied before the potter begins his creation. The potter then shapes the clay into the image that he desires. There are different wheels used to create different vessels. The Lord has designed each one of us in a distinct way with a specific calling. Each person is created for a unique purpose and plan.
The Lord told Jeremiah to go down to the Potters house to give him a prophetic illustration. When he went, he had seen the potter making something at the wheel. The clay vessel that the potter had made was marred in his hands; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make. Many people don’t understand the process of the potter’s wheel. The potter’s wheel is not to judge us or punish us, but it is to form us into the masterpiece that Jesus has created us to be.
The Lord says; just as the potter designs each clay pot into different shapes and sizes, I have designed and created every individual. Every person has been born with a unique purpose and plan. Each of you have been strategically designed for a particular purpose, and I will work with each of you in a specific way. Do not fear the potter’s wheel and do not refuse it, for this is My workmanship. This is the place where I am molding you and conforming you into My image. This is the place where all impurities and defilement will be destroyed and all bruises and blemishes will be erased. This is the place where the rough edges will be smooth out, broken vessels will be restored and old mindsets will be dismantled. Afflictions, traumas and misfortunes from the past will be removed, and dreams will be birth and brought forth. This is the place where your mind will be renewed and you will learn to walk in integrity and maturity. This place is necessary for your spiritual growth to bring forth the gifts that I have placed on the inside of you.
Do not refuse the work on the potters wheel but allow Me to transform you as I shape your life and destiny. Trust Me when the process seems too difficult. Don’t say that this is an uncomfortable place, but know that it is for your benefit and it is necessary to bring you in to the fulfillment of My plans. Do not resist the work that I am doing on the inside of you, but allow Me to accomplish My perfect will through you. Allow Me to work with you and fashion you into My image. I Am the master potter and as you allow Me, I will design your life so that you will become all that I have created you to be. You will become a glorious vessel of honor, and others will see the brilliance of the transformed life that I am creating in you. I desire to make something beautiful out of your life as you allow Me to work in you and through you says the Lord.

Surely you have things turned around! Shall the potter be esteemed as the clay; For shall the thing made say of him who made it, “He did not make me”? Or shall the thing formed say of him who formed it, “He has no understanding”?

Jeremiah 18:1-4
The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying:” Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.” Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make.

From time-to-time, I like to post quotes that I view as noteworthy.
The following was sent to me via Whatsapp this morning by Gino Maycock, my brother in Christ and the CEO/Owner of Colonial Realty Bahamas, and I’m sharing it with his permission.

When I received that message, it really resonated with me because the same thing has been in my spirit re the cost of living for Christ and of true worship in these last days.
The line between the Kingdom of Light and the kingdom of darkness is becoming increasingly distinct.
As this happens, God is concurrently requiring His people to take more and more of a clear stand for Him and His Kingdom.
This stand, this bowing down of our lives to Him and His Kingdom purposes at the cost or potential cost of all else will be counted by Him as true worship for it will show His true worth-ship to us.

What price are you prepared to pay?
What are you prepared to lose or risk losing?
Where, and in what is the true treasure of your heart?
May our hearts be willing and His grace empower us to take a stand and worship Him as He desires and indeed requires.
“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

THREE SONGS THAT WILL BLESS YOUR SOUL
The first time I heard Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart’s songs was as a child in my father’s car; my father loved to listen to his album, “Some Golden Daybreak”.
I enjoyed hearing Evangelist Swaggart’s songs back then, but now, having lived and walked through and seen many other Believer’s live and walk through life’s vicissitudes, I can really appreciate and identify with the lyrics of many of them, and am truly blessed by the power and anointing upon them.
Yesterday I was listening to a few of his songs on YouTube and decided to share three of them from his ministry.
I believe these songs will encourage you if you need reassurance that God is mindful of you and your situation, reassurance that He cares for you, and reassurance that no matter what you’ve done or are going through, His grace is sufficient for you so you can continue trusting Him through it all.

TRUST GOD MORE THAN EVER IN 2017
“IT’S CRITICAL TO TRUST GOD IN 2017”
Happy New Year to all!
I did not intend to post anything today, but I feel impressed to share that this year, it is more important than ever before for us to trust God.
To trust Him, particularly concerning the following 5 areas:
1) The infallible truth of His Word…..
2) The unmatchable greatness of His power…..
3) The irrefutable goodness of His nature…..
4) His indisputable sovereignty, knowing He has the final say on all matters…….
5) His unchangeable love for you as His child…….
We have officially entered the unchartered waters of 2017 and we do not know what this year will bring, but we can make a decision today to trust God.
We can make a decision to trust Him and to show our trust by our obedience and submission to Him, and in our attitude and posture toward Him no matter what we face.
Will you make that decision today?
Will you say, Lord, by Your grace I will trust You this year?
Father, thank you for allowing us to see 2017. As we enter this new year, we declare our desire and decision to trust You and ask that You enable us to do it by Your grace, Your divine enabling power, in Jesus’ Name, amen.

2016’s about to end…..
2017’s about to begin…..
the old is leaving…..
the new is coming…..
“this year” is becoming “last year”…..
“next year” is becoming “this year”…..
transitions……
changes…..
uncertainty…..
God remains the same….
trust Him!
He also says, “In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.
They will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
You will roll them up like a robe;
like a garment they will be changed.
But you remain the same,
and your years will never end.”
