Perhaps I am just not far enough and it will become trivial, but it just feels bad to know that every power of ten I hit without the upgrade bought is just losing tiles, and at the point im at it feels like buying the upgrade would make it absolutely impossible to make it to the next level.

I like the game, but it seems like the enemy gets more powerful as you buy more recruits? this led to a situation where I spent all my xp on a recruit for the archer, got the blind modifier and then was totally crippled in my ability to get xp to reroll, as the enemy had gotten a stronger unit and mine were worse.

Do the equipment bonuses work correctly? Ive got level 10 looting + level 3 waist, but when I hover over coin spaces it says im spending exactly half of the base value (50/100), which corresponds to only the skill bonus applying
