The Fifth UNLP conference will be held in a hybrid format in Lviv, Ukraine, on May 29–30, 2026. The conference proceedings will be published in the ACL Anthology.

The UNLP conference focuses on advances in Ukrainian natural language processing and technologies related to the Ukrainian language. The conference aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and industry representatives who develop language resources, tools, multimodal systems, and applications for Ukrainian or conduct cross-lingual research applied to Ukrainian.

The conference invites submissions on the following tracks:

• Core NLP & Linguistic Resources
• Speech, Multimodality, & OCR
• Applications, Systems, & Tools

Code of Ethics

UNLP honors the ethical code set out in the ACL Code of Ethics. We kindly ask the authors to consider the ethical impact of their research, use of data, and potential applications of their work. Where a paper may raise ethical issues, we ask that the authors include in the paper an explicit discussion of these issues. We reserve the right to reject papers on ethical grounds, where the authors are judged to have operated counter to the code of ethics, or have inadequately addressed legitimate ethical concerns with their work.
