Great question! Basically because of the trauma someone went through, alters can either stay the age the trauma occurred, Be older than the body because the brain thinks the original person needs a proper adult for comfort, or they're older or younger and just age because they have their own birthday, an example would be Issac, he's older than the body and aging.
