Rod has taught at institutions including Edge Performing Arts Center, Chicago National Association of Dance Masters and The Joffrey Ballet. He has choreographed for and performed on national television (Soap Net), performed at Lincoln Center in New York and the House of Blues in Los Angeles, recorded tap sounds for the Miss America Pageant, and created the first online tap dance show, Garage Tap.
